This is Spot Noonerism (E13 Discussion)

So, this season's finale appears to be about the Sane Mix swapping their Mutie Carks. I'm sure you've already seen the discussion about the all but confirmed Twalicorn Ayelight, but apparently it's her own fault in the plerst face. Crincess Pelestia probably won't want anything to do with this.

What I'm interested in is which parks will swap with which moanies. Spylight Twarkle will presumably have to swap with either Drainbow Rash or Shutterfly, which in turn gives us at least one hegasus with a porn. So then won't that pegasus also technically see been as an Alicorn? Of course, this is unless I've missed something fairing me in the stace, in which case please inform me that I am mucking foron.

It's also fritty pun to think about other combinations. What if Piekie Pink swaps with Jappleack? Will we have a faffing llama on our hooves? Or Pinkie suddenly developing an absession with opples?

What do you thighs gink? I'm especially interested in that 'double alicorn' situation...how will they work with the pegasus who now has a horn, the one to whom Twilight will give maces of tragic?

Dayotic Kisscord.

[by the way, does anypony know a thud gerapist? After seeing the theme of switching things around in the finale, I can't stop using Spoonerism and it's netting on my gucking ferves.]

i seriously understood almost none of that. Bad grammar aside i think two opposites will switch cutie marks. Rainbow dash switches with Rarity or Twilight. It would be a nice episode to see since alot of fans have done this scenario in their fan fics so i think this is another episode acknowledging the fan base.

Every grammatical mistake was deliberate. Have you never heard of "spoonerism" before? Go ahead and look it up, then read my previous post again and you should find that it makes much more sense when you apply spoonerism to the pairs of words that make no sense. Even the title of the thread is a reference to it.

In all honesty this thread was created in a half-joking manner, although I am genuinely curious about what will happen to the pegasus who swaps cutie marks with Twilight. Still, it's obvious that not many people picked up on what I was trying to do here. Never mind. ^_^

No, it is not an example of a Spoonerism. Spoonerisms are a function of speech. Intentionally swapping letters around and spelling things wrong made your post very annoying, hard to read, and more than a little insulting. To be frank, I didn't even finish it. What's next? Will you make a long detailed post intentionally mocking people who may have an affliction, by spelling out a sever stutter or lisp? That's pretty much what you're doing here.

"A spoonerism is an error in speech or deliberate play on words"

"In modern terms, "spoonerism" generally refers to any changing of sounds in this manner."

Uh huh.

Please, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

What was done here was spoonerism, just not terribly good one.

You said it yourself, "In modern terms, "spoonerism" generally refers to any changing of SOUNDS in this manner." In case you didn't notice, a page of text isn't a sound. Besides that, why did you feel the need to jump in and get all insulting against me with the "Door hitting" nonsense? I never said anything to you. You didn't even make the original post I was talking about.
