"It's probably just bits of your coat sticking out and obstructing your vision," Pisces stated.

 

Pisces hoped to the ancient goddesses that he was right, even though he knew that was complete laugh of an excuse. Libra looked severely worried. She couldn't possibly be talking about The Presence could she? That stuff was made up. Either a conjuration to keep people out of the slums or scare foals into behaving right? Still if she was even slightly right, then Midnight was....

 

Well, then Pisces probably wouldn't be getting to know Midnight very well.

"You don't think... That it could be...." She started, but shook her head. No. It was only a story. "Never mind.." After all, stories were stories.....right?

She looked at her, Could be who? She didn't know much about this stuff, She hadn't had a home for a long time, She didn't understand most of the new things happening around here, She was lucky she had enough to go to school itself, But she saw everyone else was worried, She was starting to be too.

Tlalli raised an eyebrow 'Always? Maybe you should be worried', Tlalli was surprised when he said hes ALWAYS seen shadows across the edge of his vision, What is going on with him? Tlalli looked around the room to try find some shadows, But found a pony watching them instead, She Smiled at her, Hoping she wasn't a suspicious bully

Arianna listened to the conversation carefully, wondering if she could pick up on what was going on.  "Hello, Tlalli," she smiled, noticing her cutie mark as well, and the others.  This was strange for sure.  Did they all notice the relationships through their cutie marks as well?

Libra nodded vigorously. he was right, it really wasn't safe to travel anywhere alone. A lot of bad ponies were around now...

"We really should get moving," she said as she stretched and carefully folded her wings against her back, "We'll be late for our final period if we dont..."

She then turned to Arianna, smiling in warm welcome, "I'm Libra by the way, its nice to meet you!"

He probably wants them to clean the gum out from underneath all the bleachers, or mop the floors of the classrooms, or maybe even paint the walls or some bullcrap like that, He had never been nice to Leon, and Leon did alot of things to piss him off, But this time he was calling alot of ponies to his office, What did they do? And what about Gen and Paratyl? Gens not usually that type of pony and Paratyls is WAY too shy for that.

How was that even possible?! She swallowed back slight panic, gritting her teeth and walking forward, making sure to keep side by side with Tlalli, Midnight, and Pisces. Subtly, she leaned over to Tlalli as they walked:

 

"Look at everyone's cutie marks!" she whispered franticly, but kept her eyes straight forward.

Paratyl was worried, Really worried, She went up to walk next Leon, But he was shivering, Leon getting pulled to the Princeables office Paratyl was used to, By why everyone else? Paratyl didn't mean to do anything bad, He was jsut trying to be a good pony, A Good Pony, A good boy.. He looked at the group of ponies ahead of them, He saw Tlalli was in the group 'So much for a date' he thought, He suddently had a sense of shock, Why did he even like her? Guess that was another thing over and done with in his life.

Libra took a deep breath, listing the signs silentsly in her head. Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, Libra, Leo, Virgo, Aries, Aquarius, and Gemini. Some were missing, that just left Cancer, Scorpio, and Saggitaruis. This was way too freaky, Libra almost couldn't handle it. Her eyes darted between Midnight, Tlalli, and Arianna. They realized what was going on, too, right? This could not be a coincidense...it just couldn't.

With that in mind, Libra continued forward......the Principal's office came into view. they had arrived....

midnight looked between all of them  then went inside and stood beside libra and tlalli, while the rest piled into the priciples office,midnight sharing a look between his friends.

"hmm" he thought aloud, not knowing he did so "so....just what is this about?"

Oh what was this? Pisces did not want to go to the principal's office. Going to the principal's office meant that he was probably going to get in trouble, which was just never good. 

As he entered the principal's office he noted that there was several other ponies already inside. Enough ponies to make it really crowded inside one pony's office. 

This already sucked.

From behind an impossibly enormous desk, sat the principal of the Acadamy for Higher Learning. One could wonder how he ever got a job around young colts, with his perpetually severe expression, overly large muscles, and definite frown lines. He was a tall stallion,an Earth pony with stern and often unforgiving tendancies. He stood as they entered, his frown, if you could believe it, actually deepening as he took us in.

Libra fidgited uncomfortabley at his appraisal, and she was happy Tlalli, Midnight, Pisces, and Aquarius were there beside her. At least she wasn't in his office alone.

"I'm certain you are all wondering why I have called you into my office.." he began, his voice deep and booming, like a cavernous void waiting to swallow them all up in one fell swoop. Libra nodded obediantly, forcing herself not to stare at her hooves and look directly at him.

"There is a reason, young colts," he continued, "And that reason is that you, along with some other of your peers who have yet to make an appearance, have been specially chosen for your outstanding skills for an expedition."

"An expedition?" Libra parroted, confused.

"Yes." he answered curtly, "This will be.....like a field trip....once there, you will learn all that you can about your destination...."

The ponies around her exchanged doubtful glances.

"I'm sure this will be very enlightening for everyone." he said, and Libra couldn't help but think there was more than one meaning behind his words.....
