I've Taken Up Digital Art (Maybe You've Seen My Princess Twilight?)

So yes.  My father downloaded a free art program for me.  So far I've done Princess Celestia, Fluttershy, Zecora, and Chrysalis on it.  I might do Applejack soon.  I won't be showing you Zecora (she looks awful).

 

Maybe you've already seen this one.  I did it before my father downloaded the new art program.

I did this with MS Paint and DA Muro.  There's a topic for it somewhere.

My first time EVER doing completely digital art (with a mouse)

Took one and a half hours

 

This is my first 'painting' from using the art program.

I quite like it xP

But anyway, second time doing completely digital art (mouse)

Took about an hour

 

Second time using art program.

Meh.  It's not that great.  I could have done much better.

Third time, completely digital (mouse)

Took maybe...an hour?  Half an hour?  45 minutes? 

 

Third time using art program.  Used the tracing tool.  So thats why it looks nice xD

I kind of like it xP

Made in the new art program and MS Paint (that art program is more for painting style things)

Forth time, completely digital (mouse)

An hour I believe.

These look really nice, especially the Chrysalis one, i have not gone into digital art, but i have been thinking about getting a wacom tablet, no way i could draw in my computer without a tablet. Also it's nice too see that the art style, is unique. Well done.

I really like the style you got going there. Very painterly! May I ask what art program you use? Also, if you really want to get into drawing, a tablet helps out, but isn't necessary depending on the type of art you want to do. Hope to see more from you!

These look really nice, especially the Chrysalis one, i have not gone into digital art, but i have been thinking about getting a wacom tablet, no way i could draw in my computer without a tablet. Also it's nice too see that the art style, is unique. Well done.

If I want the full version, I have to buy it.  But that's if I want all the glittery stuff, and I don't want that really.

I tried artrage 3.5 and it was pretty good, I think it went as low as $15 during steam xmas sale.The coloring tools seems hard to master and I can't seem to get it right.

 

You have a very unique style and I'd probably buy those if those were physical copies on canvas lol.

Yes.  The paint tool mixes the colors together, that makes it difficult.  But it can also make it really pretty if you can get it right.

I don't know about the version you're using but there is a bucket fill on 3.5, the interface is very simple and it reminds me of today's dumbed down console game menus.
