(gunna have to edit your post matey! cause were in a different cave AND a day ahead of Splinter and Rhonda! So i wont count that!)

 "a-alright" Electro Dash continued to slowly walk in to the cave. Eventually the cave opened to a large room which was lit by holes in the roof, allowing the light of day to beam in. There were stockpiles of gems in the corners and a large one in the middle, with the slumbering beast lying atop of it.

"wow." Dashie whisperd. "he is big."

He whispered over to her, just loud enough for her to hear.

"Be careful, I couldn't bare to lose you."

He saw a different looking gem in one of the stockpiles. It was exactly the one he needed! He tip-hooved over and grabbed it, running down back behind he rock.

Dashie gave him a quick kiss. "don't worry. i just need to find a really really good one." she went up and began to look around. She wasn't exactly sure what a good gem looked like because she had never actually bothered with them before. Just a bunch of expensive stuff. So she looked for one that was of good colour and size. The best one she could see sat at the top of one of the stockpiles. She looked back at gears. *do I?* she thought to herself. She went for the risk. She flew up and grabbed it before dashing back to him.

"see? perfectly fine."

Gears sighed in relieve.

"Okay, now lets get out of here. I've had enough adventure for one day."

He kissed her and dashed faster than a road-runner to the mouth of the cave.

He looked at her and gestured for her to get over quickly.

'Please, please, please Celestia, have her get over here quickly and safely.'

Dashie nodded  and Began to run up to the entrance of the cave. Once she realised she was in the clear she ran at Gears and hugged him, accidently knocking him over in the process. She began to laugh of her fear.

"that was Great! I can't believe we just did that!." she was completley unaware of the awkwardness of this  situation.

Gears smiled.

"I can't either. I'm just glad you're okay... I love you."

He got up a little and kissed her.

He let go after 3 minutes and got up. He held his hoof out to help her up.

'Celestia, if anything were to happen to her, I would just die. I would. I really, really would.'

Dashie took his hoof and got up, brushing herself down of grass and dirt.She then rememberd why she even thought about going into the cave. "oh yeah, umm. Here." she held the gem in front of her. " I was going to make it a suprise but that would be kind of hard now." She blushed as she gave it to him.

Gears looked at it, and then looked at her. He smiled and hugged her.

"Thanks, you really shouldn't have."

He wanted to give her something in return, but all he had was the Asurath that he needed.

"Erm... I got you something, too..."

He took the Asurath and gave it to her. He smiled almost fakely.

Dashie could see that he was putting on a smile. She put her hoof on his mouth to keep him quiet before looking at him directly.

"for whatever reason it may be, it seems as if you need that gem. If you need it for whatever reason then I will not take it. I got you that one purely because I have never needed a gem. I don't want one in return ok?" she kissed him again.

Gears kissed her back for a while, and slowly pulled away.

"Okay. That's really sweet of you. Well, I have to go work on something for a while. Love you."

He kissed her and galloped back to his tent, and after a while obnoxious machinery noises ad clanking started to come from it.

Dox averted his eyes to the ground, feeling ashamed of the fact that he had nearly gotten them lost. And now Shade sounded angry with him, so he just sadly trudged away, feeling ashamed entirely of himself. "You can do what you want... I'm going to go be by myself for a while..."

Shade changed into her changeling forum. She casted a spell at the ground wich caused a ring of green fire, she sat in it. "And pleas don't leave me here. You make me feel safe, you make me feel like I can be a changeling and not worry about anything"

Dox looked at her, then gave her a gentle smile and a small nod. He walked over, stepping over the green flames, and sat next to her. "Ok, I'll stay here with you." He leaned over and kissed her, smiling a little bit as he did, and held her close. He finally pulled away, smiling at her.

Shade smiled, the green fire went out and shade kissed him... "So now what should we do? I don't think it would be fun just being here all day... How about we ditch the other ponies and move on? I think there are some old ruens in the everfree, wanna go look for them?" She asked

Dox shrugs. "Sure, sounds like a fun idea." He stands up and looks at her. "So, where will we find these ruins? And what are they like? Are they ultra-creepy and dangerous?" Dox's eyes lit up at the very thought. He loved exploring, and the more strange the place, the better.

" I don't know much but it's some old castle or something, I hird a rumor around the hive that it use to be a changeling fort... But I read something that said it held the elements of harmony or something... I don't know, we can only find out once we get there."

Electro Dash Always seemed to blush when Gears kissed her. She just shrugged it off as he walked away "OK. Have fun building whatever!" She watched him until he was out of site before flying up a few feet above the trees. She surveyed the area, looking for something that was different. the only things she saw however were a pile of ruins and a lake. She could try to climb the mountain? nah. It would've been better to start earlier and as a group. Even then She trotted up it for about 10 minutes to see if there was anything interesting but alas there was not, so after about half an hour she went back and peeked into Gears's tent.

"hey. How's your thingie- majingy going along?

Gears was halfway through building the skeletal structure of the new robot when she peeked in.

"Hmm? Oh, hi Electro. It's going fine. Nothing's exploded or burst into flames yet, so that's good." He laughed at that last part, even though that always did happen.

Paradox followed quickly behind her, staying close so that if anything attacked, he could protect her from it. The trip was uneventful, nothing attacked them, but they finally did arrive at some old ruins. "Wooooow..." Dox said in awe as he looked up at the looming ruins.

Shade looked up at the castle, "wow, it's not as big as I thought it would be... There's probably more underground"

 

Shade started to walk towards the castle, even tho shade is a shy pony, she isn't scared of the wild, she grew up in the sewers, and she knows how to handle herself... But it was awesome to have dox at her back

Dox followed her, keeping his eye out for any manticors or cocatrices. Nothing seemed out of the oridinary, so he lowered his guard, just a little. He entered the main hall, looking at the center structure, which was once said to house the elements of harmony. It was... Interesting, but not incredible.

Shade walked up the the elements of harmony shrine, she just looks at it it was interesting, But got boring quickly...

 

"Come on, lets go explore more of the castle, like the underground parts... I want to see if changeling really did live here once." She said walking out of the room

"O-ok... Lte's go then..." He really didn't like the feeling of going underground, but he didn't want to seem like a scaredy-colt to Shade, so he followed her as if he wasn't afraid, when he actually was quaking with fear on the inside. He gave her a smile, hoping she wouldn't notice it.

Dashie laughed and gave him another kiss. "well let's hope that doesn't happen then." She crouched by the side of the desk and gave the machine a tentative poke with her wing. "so what is it What will it do? Is it going to be some sort of SUPER robot or are you building yourself a friend?"

Gears attached another pipe to what appeared to be the leg.

"Erm... I'm just building Rhonda a friend. Rhonda does get rather annoying sometimes, as it can get pretty clingy and overprotective."

He smiled and put a metal plate on one if the legs, and attached a large piece of pipe on top of the legs, which was he body. He put a few more pieces of metal plates on the leg.
