I'm really angry at one of the kids I hang with at school, due to recent events...

 

I feel like I'm being cornered, and... that's not cool. Because, when I feel like that, the whole love and tolorate thing goes out the window. I'm afraid... there are some things in this world that cannot be tolorated.

Kids at school can be very stupid and idiotic.   I was an outcast at mine so I was used to being corned... one guy actually grabbed me one day, wouldn't let go.... he ended up bleeding from my 'claws' as they called them.

 

Feeling cornered and trapped, I'm used to that... my whole life.   -_-   So this piece speaks to me...

I learned to somewhat...   spent most of my life abused and when he grabbed me and wouldn't let go, I warned him before I dug my nails into his arm... few days later by older stepbro had him up against the locker by his throat... for what he did to me and something else he did. 

I fight back when I see a point to it, but sometimes I shrink back and hide...   depends on how bad my fibro is acting up.

 

Raptors rule   Brilliant creatures, it's a shame that Jurassic Park featured them incorrectly though...  size was way off and they realized AFTER they made the first movie that they were feathered, lol

Dekanogi'a it's best to just ignore them. You're better then they are and if their mind is unwilling to adapt to new things then their probably not worth your breath.  Be the bigger person and let them stew in their ignorance and stupidity.

Most times I will, but if I sense I'm in danger I do lash back..

There ARE times when you need to fight back...  I've been forced to at least try to fight back, not that it did any good... I still got raped that night.    I've also given plenty of warning shoves in bars when verbally asking them to stop doesn't work, then usually someone steps in or they understand to stop when I shove.   (It's why I stick to my best friend and her 'male chaperon'  when her husband isn't there or I stick to David like glue in certain bars...  I'd laugh if someone tried something in the CharBar though... I know the bartenders... the one is like an uncle.. you don't mess with a biker's daughter, especially when his friends own the bar!) I'm a short gal who's been abused most of my life...  I prefer to avoid fighting.

The thing with Eli his friends were all laughing, I asked him nicely then warned him a couple times...   no teachers of course were in sight when all this happened.  He was also the biggest guy in my class while I was one of the 3 shortest girls at 5 ft at the time... back then I had physical injuries and he was hurting me while doing this.
