Total newb and a little lost

Mostly not sure where to go, what to do, how to even start up.

Been debating even hitting up an MLP forum tbh, but what the hay, why not.

 

Not much to say, got addicted to the new show a few months back, and for some reason can't get over the BG character known often as Vinyl Scratch (i will NOT use that terrible ED name.. looking at the options they had its def the least stupid of the lot, but its more a stage handle than a name.. VS fits so much better)

Prob need a better Icon and the like.. but its an oldie i've held onto since 1998 or so...

 

ummm now what?

 

Edit: just changing one word for a better one.. wasn't bad i don't think, but better safe than sorry.

First off, just want to say welcome. Second, it is MLP Forums, meaning you go around the site looking for interesting threads you wish to participate in by voicing your opinion with fellow bronys with the subject at hand, unless you are a Role player, than you would just go and roleplay . To start off, you can go to your profile and edit all that fun stuff, but ether wise just go out and enjoy yourself.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is where stuff related to the show goes. Show Discussion has most of the threads about the show itself. That's where you go if you want to debate who best pony is, talk about episodes, or whatever. Sugarcube Corner is basically threads about the fandom. Stuff like how you became a brony, popular fan series, the whole nine yards. 

 

Octavia's Hall is all about stuff you make. If you draw something, write a fanfic, compose some music, or be awesome and make PMVs like me, you head off to there. I'm not too familiar with the roleplaying section myself, so I'll skip that.

 

Everfree Forest has everything that is serious and not related to ponies. General Discussion is for serious threads that don't really go anywhere else, Media Discussion is talking about any sort of show or movie or book or music or whatever you can think of that's not ponies. Life Advice only opens up after you've posted a bit, but it's what it sounds like. 

 

Cloudsdale Colosseum is the silly and fun section! Forum games is self explanatory. Ask a Pony... I haven't really poked around in there. Forum Lounge is where all manners of goofiness abound. That's where you go when you want to post your theories about toasters taking over the world.

 

I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in no time. Have fun!

Nope.  I just thought it was a nifty username that turned up to be available for this forum. 

 

I'm presently into shipping Twilight Sparkle with Shockwave.  They're both purple, into logical thinking, and they fire powerful energy blasts at their enemies.  They also have a tendency to unravel at times.

Not sure why.. but her colors catch my eye.... and its something i've not seen done before.. But like i said above, been many years since I joined a forum.. round 10 i think.. Last one i was in was Just before I left for Iraq, so when i got home it was all new people and i kinda faded away..
