"Being an alicorn should at least be more diffucult. What is she the princess of? Friendship?" Minath scoffed. "Alicorns in general are self centered wimps." Minath said. "You should have seen Alicornia. I preformed a memory spell on myself so I didn't have to know. But I assume it was terrible. And I'm not allowed back, so I must've done something terrible."

"It is. I only earased the parts of my memory when I realized how bucking terrible it was there. I remember arriving there, and seeing only alicorns." Minath shuddered, but cotinued. "It's said only alicorns can find it, that we have some kind of internal compass. That when we want to know, we'll find it. I just totally winged it and ended up there." Minath shrugged, and the two approached the gates to the Palace, and Minath flashed her badge to the Guard on duty as the gates opened.

Splinter shivered at the thought of all of those alicorns. ''How many alicorns are there that we don't know about yet?!'' Splinter complained while kicking a rock. ''Jeez, and I thought becoming an alicorn only happened once every century.. I guess I was wrong.''

Minath continued through the gates as she talked. "Well think about this, natural born alicorns live forever. I don't know if I'm going to die one day, so I'm living like I might. There were even stallion alicorns. It was wierd." Minath didn't like to talk about her one day maybe dying, so she hoped Spliter wouldn't hook on this fact.

"Hey wait up!" called Brazen, galloping towards them. She was now wearing a yellow hard hat, pulled so far down over her eyes that the others were surprised she could still see. She ran right past the gate guards, who at first looked quite confused, but soon decided it wasn't worth the fuss.

Splinter felt a small amount of happiness drain from him as she said she could die one day. ''Well, I'm really sorry that might happen, if it ever does, that is.'' Splinter said while frowning. ''She could die any day? That's mighty awful.'' Splinter thought while his frown turned into a neutral look. ''Oh, Draco! You're back from your awkward silence.''

Brazen turned, a confused look on her face. "Jolt? why is he runnin' away? Ah just spoke to him." She shook her head. This didn't make any sense at all. Brazen turned to Minath. "Uhh, if you werent immortal, wouldnt you have to get, y'know." Brazen pulled at the skin on her face to give the impresion of wrinkles. "Old first?"

''Ah, let him go.. Draco.'' Splinter said while a calm smile appeared on his face. ''Besides, he probably isn't stealing anything. Not like this town is Gotham City. Where criminals practically rule over the city. This is Canterlot.'' Splinter said. ''And apparently, I happen to live here.''

"I live here also. And trust me they are crooks in and of themselves. Anyhow Brazen You do look lovely today," Draco said with a slight smile. "I am happy to be a courier of exotic items and lounge singer," Draco said as he looked to the sky. He hummed a song.

Jolt saw Brazen out of the corner of his eye and began walking over to give back the pass.

 

"Here you go, one pass. Luckily no one asked any questions so it shouldn't be too hard to back up my presence. And thanks again, you've made a very happy pony today."

"I would love to stay and talk but I need to get some sleep. I'm still feeling the effects of my flight up here earlier."

 

Jolt wandered away from the group and got deeper into the crowds roaming the streets. Eventually, Jolt was invisible against the sheer number of ponies.

Minath, who had zoned out, was brought back to the present and decided to answer a previous question brought up about her death. "I wouldn't get older first. Even when an alicorn is artificially created they just... die. Considereing I also am guessing how old I am, I could be older or younger. But I left the orphanage when I was a filly so I can't be that far off." Minath shrugged. She had taken noted while in Alicornia, so thataway when she decided to do the memory spell she wouldn't have to come back.

Red woke up to find himself in the rehearsal hall of the Royal Philharmonic......again.......He had fallen asleep listening to recordings of the next few pieces that they were going to play.  He gathered himself and teleported himself outside for some fresh air.  Today felt like it would be just like any other day.....

Minath felt wierd explaining things and not being explained too. "Twilight is an artificial alicorn. She was not born one, she wa born a unicorn. Making her artificial. And you know how in the Hearth's Warming Eve play there's no mention of alicorns? That's because they were all in Alicornia, established before even the birth of Celestia."

Red trotted down the streets of Canterlot, reading through the different parts of his orchestra's newest piece and comparing them with the bass part.  He wasn't sure quite how they fitted together but somehow he needed to find out before-his thoughts were interrupted as he collided with a couple of ponies who were discussing the newest princess.

Splinter let a small squeaking noise out of his body as he dove into the ground face first due to a red colt colliding into him. ''Mmph.'' Splinter muffled while getting up and spitting out a few golden and sliver teeth. ''Meh, they were getting loose anyways.'' Splinter said while shrugging and looking at the pony who collided with him. ''Oh, hai.''

Red watched the other stallion stand up, holding a few teeth, "Oh snap....I am so sorry!!!" Red yelped, "Are you alright?! Do we need to get you to a hospital?!"  Red frantically gathered his scores together and teleported them home, then turned back to the (in his mind) victim.
