Harmonic Revelations, pls. This thread is kinda pointless, don't you think? The songs have different names and are veeeery far from sounding similiar in any way. So, who cares?

I wasn't actually talking about the song, I was talking about the band name.

 

I have no idea why I posted the song, I guess because I wanted to post a piece of their work instead of just blurting out the band name..

Wow, a gibillion pounds? How much would that be in Bits? Does anyone know the current exchange rates between the Pound and the Bit?? What about the Dollar?

 

Well, based on the listed price of  one cherry in "Putting Your Hoof Down" (2 bits) , the average price of cherries ($3.68/lb as of may 2012) and the average weight of a cherry (5g), a 1 lb bag of cherries will have 91 cherries- at $3.68 a pound, that's 4 cents per cherry. 

 

So there you go.  2 bits = 4 cents.

Eqd did this editorial on it. Amazing how good this is compared to their journalism.

I will say  that this conversion is likely flawed, as there is a difference in price between imported goods (which is the reference for .this editorial) and hoof-grown goods. But yeah, this is pretty much the only reference for this I have. Enjoy.

 

Also, I was taking what you said literal, though it was probably a joke.
