I joined sometime in August of 2012. The age I joined and the age now are both 17. I would say I partly contribute to the group by running brony groups/organisations, but I haven't really have the talents to make art/music.

the way I became a brony is quite strange actually, has anyone here seen arby n the chief?, if you haven't its on you tube and its pretty hilarious, but back to topic now, one of the episodes (horsin around) was about bronys and I thought what's a brony, so I researched into it and then eventually watched the first 3 episodes and became hooked since then.

I became a brony this past January. It was definitely unexpected but I'm glad it did. Unfortunately, my story isn't the happiest.

 

I was on duty one day and I received a call to respond to a suicide. When we got there, the young colt was successful and there was nothing my partner or I could do to save him. We could only help the family. It really stressed me out and I started to become depressed. I checked online for ways to deal with it and someone recommended MLP. I was skeptical, but I was willing to try anything. Long story short, it worked and I'm a brony for life.
