GrooveBroove 680 January 31, 2012 Share January 31, 2012 Video just doesn't want to play on my phone. But I would love to see trixie again, especially if she could learn some kind of lesson. It would be cool to see her have to save twilight or something.
Tom The Diamond 1,830 January 31, 2012 Share January 31, 2012 (edited) Meh, I've already said my opinion on Trixie's return; Meh, I think she would be better off becoming a recurring rival or something. I mean, with the way she left in her episode, it didn't look like she had any second thoughts or regrets. Heck, if it was me, I'd be pretty pissed that my wagon was destroyed because two foals decided to bring a monster to town. That alone would be established motive for her to have revenge. It would feel a bit forced and unnatural if she just returned begging for forgiveness. Plus, her personality would make her a perfect rival, as well as being able to give off some funny dialog exchanges(If you've seen Turnabout Storm, you'll know what I'm talking about). She has so much potential as an antagonist it would be a shame for the MLP Team to just throw that away. But yeah, anyways, great video! I remember watching it as if it were yesterday... *Cue Flashback* Edited January 31, 2012 by Tom The Nonpareil Diamond
Comet Tail 808 February 1, 2012 Share February 1, 2012 I'm with Tom, in one way, and that is that when she ran away, she wasn't regretful or anything. My own pyschoanalysis of her says that she used to have security issues, but solved them by making herself "The Great and Powerful Trixie", which makes her feel powerful and comfortable. That self-image of her would have to be totally and utterly destroyed. It would take heck for her to change. I mean, getting the wagon destroyed and losing everything was bad, but nothing compared to what would actually need to happen for her to change for the better. Because she's stubborn and proud, and her response to any self-doubt is to put others down and make herself the great and powerful Trixie. That response is probably as addictive as a drug. So even if she was terribly, emotionally ruined, if Fluttershy helped her too soon, she'd revert back to her old self. She'd have to be crushed in every way to a huge degree, and stay there for awhile, and really think things over, for her to entirely re-invent herself. It takes a lot to change someone at such a fundamental level of how they define themselves, what they want to do and who they are. The change would be a bit more drastic than Rainbow Dash becoming like Applejack (minus the accent). It's a total personality change. "The Great and Powerful Trixie" seems to be part of who she is. Though, we can see in some moments, it's not all of who she is, but it is a huge part of it, so it is possible for her to change.
