  2. 2. If given the choice do you prefer:

    • The show with original audio
      4
    • The show with dubbed audio
      3
    • The show with original audio and subtitles
      2

To be quite honest, the choices listed are inadequate. For many mainstream shows (I'm looking at you Bleach) the dubs are often cringe worthy, yes, but on the flip side, for production studios such as Studio Ghibli, their dubs are very well done. What I'm trying to say it, it really depends on the show, in my opinion.

Well it's not like I can list every single show. Plus this thread is primarily targeted at MLP and some dubs of it. I am not too ecstatic about some dubs.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. In that case I have no experience what so ever on the matter and will gracefully withdraw from the topic!

I like dub because I can watch it the way it was meant a visual media. Diverting my eyes from the action loses some of the meaning for me.

but I do enjoy subs if I have seen it a dozen.

Some times I put the audio in other languages then in was made in.

If I were to watch MLP in another language (I'd choose Spanish, because I'm learning it.) I'd prefer it to be dubbed. I feel like, at least for TV anyway, it's easier to understand when you hear it than it is when you read it.
