Does Chrysalis need a Harley Quinn

I think it would be awesome if Chrysalis had a fan girl of her's who wanted to help her take over Eqeustria it doesn't need to be a changeling, I'd rather it be an Earth Pony who is unsatisfied with the monarchy and wants changeling authority. It could also flesh Chrysalis out more. Lets say the two are in a romantic relationship, or at least Chrysalis being the heartless creature she is only loves herself and uses this pony to get what she wants. But this pony kinda forces to make Chrysalis see a part of herself that she doesn't want to see. The fact that she might care about something other than her sick obsession with Twilight, Celestia and taking over Equestria

I love speculation threads and whatnot, but this won't and can't happen. 

 

First off, romantic relationship? Really? We already have two romantic relationships (Fleur and Fancy Pants, Shining and Cadence) and that's pushing it. MLP is a kids show. 

 

Besides, who the heck would be a fan of Chrysalis who attacked Canterlot? Not even Trixie would go that low, and she's the lowest.

 

Chrysalis's fate has already been sealed in the comics anyway.

 

One last thing: Chrysalis is, to put it bluntly, heartless. She has no feelings whatsoever about anyone else other then the well-being of her hive, which she needs to survive. She took the free will of somepony and used him as a mere puppet, and attacked Cadence and sealed her in the mines, where there is no food, to possibly rot in there and die of starvation.

 

We already have two reformed villains: and I honestly think that's enough.

I don't think it would work out or happen at all because, Chrysalis is a heartless, twisted, and demented villain that only cares about her survival and feeding her Changeling subjects. It is like her having a sidekick, but we know that she would never change at all. So let's just keep Chrysalis the way she is.

Okay, a little off-topic here, but I absolutely hate this argument. Kids are capable of understanding mature concepts if they are done well. I should know. I was a kid at one point, and I can tell you that I thought it was awesome when the stuff I watched took me seriously.

And you're saying that kids can't possibly comprehend dating? Yes, because the concept of love and having a crush on someone is totally beyond understanding for children. They're dumb as shit! Let's just keep to loud noises and rainbows, because they'll be confused otherwise.

That said, a flat out abusive relationship would probably be pushing it. That, and Chrysalis wouldn't seem like the one to have a Harley-style sidekick. Not because she's too cruel and heartless (that's actually what makes the Joker-Harley relationship interesting in the first place), but because who would be a fangirl/fanboy to her? At least with Joker, you can sorta get why Harley joined up (he made her laugh), but how is Chrysalis appealing to anyone except to her subjects?

 

But I do like the idea of a completely heartless monster of a villain who has genuine affection for a single being. Don't know how that would work out for Chrysalis, but it'd be a neat little surprise and would give depth to her character.

At first I thought you meant a general sidekick, which would be a huge no. But I could see an 'irritated Joker deals with the always annoying Harley fangirl' relationship with Chrysalis and someone else. Would be too easy if it was another Changeling. Some young filly strayed from the path of good. Or, she meets Chrysalis and doesn't really know she's evil yet, and becomes obsessed with her and how awesome she is, then only finds out she's bad when she reveals her plans and starts hurting ponies.

Seriously speaking,I don't see why the Queen of Changlings would even have a need for a sidekick of sorts.She has an entire army to do her bidding,I highly doubt she needs some regular old pony to be her Lord Commander or something.At best,I can see some sort of group of ponies trying to get equal rights or something for changlings and Chrysalis decides to abuse them for her own agenda,but that still seems a bit too far-fetched if you ask me.

I'm going to go with no. It would just be annoying if Chrysalis had some random side-kick character for some reason. Not to mention the show would have go in a direction where Chrysalis attacks everyday. Also she has a whole army. Why would she need a side-kick. Even if a pony like that existed she would just eat them.
