yeah, last I checked, Cloudsdale had no medication labs, oh wait, Equestria you said? By then, scientists will be gone, either as zombies, locked in their lab with no contact, or demanding their families. Plus, if Equestria is overrun, it is a dangerous journey with a slim chance of survival.

Hmm, I guess that seems reasonable. But I don't think you would even know if there was any labs near Cloudsdale. Could be possible to have some there. And it probably is dangerous. But I wouldn't go in to conclusions that quick.

I can only think of one plan: Reverse Quarantine

 

All the healthy must stay together in a tight, damn-hard-to-reach fortress in the everfree forest, preferably a cave.

All those who enters must be tested medically for any mild symptom. While in the inside everyone will be monitored for anything weird. One weird zombie-like act, you're out.

 

There must be a sustainable water and food resources, a few Earth ponies will have to farm in the fortress then. Rather doubt Cloudsdale could actually last long in the event of undead siege.

with the zombies haveing no magic abilities any uni. would have to keep the zombies out while earth ponies build the fortess and any pegi. defend the air with anything they can.this of coarse is when they have secured a post to build in. it would have to have a roof 1st and formost. to prevent any kamakazies from zombie pegi. id go into more detail once we get more detail on the virus
