Cadence looked at Discord quizzically.

"Fine? Ya know what that rhymes with? Mine! Candy is MIIINE!" Cadence noticed that Discord had changed her color back.

"PIINK? Why PIINK?" she whined. She changed herself green again. "You're no fun..."

(Ah... from the way it was presented, i didn't understand)

 

Discord groaned and looked at the still crazy Cadence. "This is going to take more magic than just a snap of the fingers i'm afraid" he said and started to prepare a spell to reverse whatever the heck changed Cadence. "Might i ask who changed her to this?"

Wick grew worried when Shining Armor finally regained the strength to hold himself up. The stallion proceeded to walk towards his wife. "Cadence... what do we have to do?" He twitched as the seedling grew and continued in a loud, angered voice, " ... to get you to shut ..." He slammed his hoof down and groaned. "Cadence, we have to get back..." 

 

Wick stood there, pondering what he could do. In the back of his mind, he had an idea, but he had never actually put it into practice before, and it would take quite some time to build. Probably too much time. "Your Majesty," he addressed Celestia. "I think I have an idea, but the implementation is a bit beyond my current skills and understanding."

"If it can help the current situation then i'm all for it. I just hope we aren't too late." Celestia responded, worried for Shining Armor's safety, he was the captain of the Royal Guard and therefore was necessary to restore order in the castle after the recent attack.

Ignis looked out upon the view before him. It was something breathtaking and he couldn't get any words to describe it. "Well where do you think we should start looking Princess?" The sound of the trees blowing in the cool breeze as well as the birds chirping was very distracting from their objective. Inside his mind Ignis made a mental note that he'd definitely have to bring Twilight here soon.

"Yahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!" Cadence shrieked hysterically. She took to the sky and flew loops around trees, ponies, and clouds. She came back, landing in a tuck-and-roll position. She barrel-rolled into Shining Armor.

"HELLOOOOO!" she laughed.

Suddenly, her horn sparked. She flashed colors.

"Crystal...Heart..." she slurred. Her colors messed up again.

"How many toes does a fish have?" she giggled.

Shining spun around and growled. "What's little Wicky going to do? You can't even fly without .... " Shining stopped. His tainted words had obviously stabbed the stallion's nerves. "Wick... I'm ...  not sorry in the slightest! You're a useless runt without your wings being propped up by the dark truth."

 

The pegasus's heart raced as he looked away from the others. His limbs trembled from the harshness of Armor's shouts. How could he possibly help a pony after being spoken to like that. "I need to build something," he said to Celestia. "I need to measure the energy profile of their magic." 

 

Wick's ears perked to Cadence's words. "Princess, is something wrong with the heart?"

Celestia's eyes widened, "We need to go to the Crystal Empire at once." Celestia charged up a teleportation spell to take Celestia to the Crystal Empire. Celestia checked the Crystal Heart, it's essence had been altered. Celestia charged a simple spell to fix it. The crystal heart shone once more.

And then it darkened again.

"Wha-" Cadence began. Then her head messed up again.

"Im'una shing da doom shong!" she blubbered.

A crystal pony wandered by.

"Look!" it exclaimed. "The Crystal Princess has gone mad! All is lost!"

Nearby crystal ponies began to panic.

Cadence began turning them to candy ponies.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" she giggled. "CAAAAANDY!!!"

She promptly turned the Crystal Palace to candy. Ponies attacked it with vigor.

Celestia teleported back to the castle before she got trampled by hungry "Candy Ponies", Celestia appeared back at the castle.
"There's nothing we can do, Wick! The crystal empire is done. My priority is defending the people of my own kingdom and i have to fix my castle before another dangerous force attacks us." The princess walked out of the library.

"How dare you call my bride mad!" Shining shouted at the ponies. "How dare you all! How dare you after all she's done for you, you ungrateful little twits!" He recoiled when Wick punched him directly in the snout and dropped to the floor.

 

"Get your bucking act together, Shining," he roared. "You need to hold it together a little longer. I still have my idea to try." He turned and looked around. "Dissy, if Celestia's given up, then I'm counting on you."

Cadence began to Pinkie hop everywhere. She occasionally Pinkie danced across the room.

She fazed in again.

"Crystal...Shard! Missy! Get...Missy!" Cadence coughed wetly. She changed again.

"How many times has Discord thrown a pie at somepony? I don't know, ask somepony else. Fine, I will," Cadence struck up a conversation with herself. She flew to a pie stand and began to lob pies at passing ponies, screaming, "TAG! YOU'RE IT!"

Discord gasped dramatically at what Cadence said and crossed his arms. "Well how rude! I have never thrown a pie at anypony! Well... there was that one time with my cousin, but he isn't a pony" he said with a chuckle. "Well, i see i am no longer needed" he said dramatically and teleported to who knows where.

Missy was contacted by Celestia.

"Missy, you need to collect your friends, we have a problem in the Crystal Empire." Celestia said

"Gather them, what am i a gardener?" Missy asked, the communication closed before she could get an answer.

Missy flew to the centre of Ponyville and sent out a message to the bearers of the Shards of Balance.

 

"Balance Wielders, we have a problem, come to Ponyville Square and i'll explain everything."

Splash received her message via telepathy between Missy and her. She teleported herself next to Missy.

"What's going on?" she asked.

Quinky zoomed in by lightning.

"Sup?" he crackled. Electricity buzzed down his flank.

Cornucopia spouted from the fountain. She landed in the pool, splashing the group with her Kelpie tail.

"What's new?" she asked. "Your message sounded urgent. I came as quickly as I could and let me tell you, those pipes are not fun to mosey through."

"We're needed by Celestia again, the Crystal Empire is in danger, we need to wait for Ash to arrive before we can go anywhere though." Missy explained to the group.

 

<Meanwhile>

"I hope this plan will work, if not then i fear the Crystal Empire will be doomed." Celestia thought.

"He would probably make his home in a cave somewhere.....We should head north. He would probably go North due to The Crystal Empire being to the north." Luna started troting off. Ignis quickly Caught up and ran over.

 

 

"We're needed by Celestia again, the Crystal Empire is in danger, we need to wait for Ash to arrive before we can go anywhere though." Missy explained to the group.

 

<Meanwhile>

"I hope this plan will work, if not then i fear the Crystal Empire will be doomed." Celestia thought.

 

Ash was enjoying himself. After his hard work of saving Equestria from certain Doom he needed a vacation.

 

"Ash! Come in!"

 

"Seriously? I'm on vacation. Unless somethings endangering Equestria dont get me envolved."

 

"Come on bro! I'm too busy dealing with these stupid Changelings in their little shut-out base. You have to go!"

 

"Fine. But as soon as I'm done don't get me involved in anything. Ok?"

 

"Deal. Now Go Get Him!"

 

Ash moved his hoof towards his ear and pressed a button on his Bluetooth earpiece. He hung up the call with his sister.

Celestia was waiting for Missy to contact her again and tell her when the rest of the ponies had gotten to her location, then they would move towards the Crystal Empire to fix the Crystal Heart and cure Cadence of her insanity. The only thing saddening the princess at this moment was her utter helplessness.

Cadence laughed maniacally as the scored a pie in Celestia's face. She had run out of pies and began hurling pie tins, shattering Crystal Ponies left and right. She scaled the Palace single-handedly and perched at the top.

"I am invincible!" she crowed. "But this pony is not!"

She summoned a Crystal Pony and hurled it down. She repeatedly tortured several Crystal Ponies that way.

"Miss?" a Crystal Stallion approached Celestia. "Please save my wife! She's laiden with a foal and if the Crystal Princess throws her, our foal will die! She's about to go and I cannot stop her!"

Cadence hurled the Crystal Mare. She screamed and hopped off the tower herself. She began to destroy homes and shops at random, laughing like a madmare. She ballet danced through everything.

Celestia quickly teleported to the Crystal Empire to delay Cadence until the element bearers got here. She appeared just as the mare was falling, quickly levitating the frightened pony safely to the ground. She decided that enough was enough.

"Cadence, this madness has gone on longer than it should have." Celestia boomed. "If you do not stop this, then i will have to stop you."

Shining pushed away from Wick. The princesses were gone, and the two of them stood alone in the library. "Maybe it's time a stallion ruled over Equestria," Armor spat as the seed of betrayal continued to grow in his mind. His statement caused Wick to lower his stance. "None of this would have happened if they had just stayed in my damn barrier and let me cast my spell. They can't even do that. They can't even let the shield be a shield!" He was practically wailing as he started to trot around the room. "Why do we serve ponies who don't even want to be served? How can you love a mare who won't even let you do your job? Maybe, I should just use a spell that will wipe everything off the map!" 

 

Wick's stare softened. He could see that Shining was desperately trying to maintain control of himself, but time had run out. Whatever the others were doing to save Cadence, they needed to do it soon. "You know I won't let you do that," the pegasus responded, "and you know that isn't what you want either."

Cadence looked Celestia in the eye seriously. They stared for a second before Cadence burst out laughing. She was rolling on the floor in hysteria, tears streaming down her face.

"That's funny!" she giggled. "Like this!"

Cadence kicked the base of the Palace. A shiver went up and the spire crumbled. The very tip broke off and began its decent to the ground. It was aiming straight for Celestia, threatening to spear her like a shish-kebob. At the last second, Cadence came to and kicked it away. She turned green and blue again and flew off towards Canterlot.

After awhile of searching Luna and Ignis found a cave made of a blackish crystal. Its was dark but Luna lighted the way in. Eventually they came to a door. "Are you ready?" Ignis asked Luna. "You look nervous." Luna smiled. "I never had a good poker face" Luna lifted her one hoof and knocked on the door.

 

(I will now be looking for a part to take sombra and aafter everything is sorted out bomar!)

(Sorry for not posting in so long been busy and work has been a pain.)

 

Ignis swallowed a lump in his throat as he looked into the cave. He'd fought tons of powerful creatures but never had he had to fight another powerful pony except for his sparing with Luna. "No I'm just unsure how things will go down." Ignis gathered some magic and created a light at the tip of his horn as he started inside the cave.

"Shining! What are you doing?" Wick sidestepped the charging prince. This is getting ridiculous. "You have to fight the seed! What would Cadence think of she saw you acting like a no-good delinquent!?"

 

The stallion snapped his head to glare at the pegasus. "Cadence left us here, as did the other princesses! This is my kingdom now, and I don't want some scrawny, annoying coward getting in my way..." Armor's voice was gruff and twisted. It exited his lungs in raspy heaves that even set Wick a bit on edge. "I see now that you're just like them. I'll tell you what, Zero," he said, putting particular emphasis upon the Dark-Op's designation. "I'll do you a favor and send you to join your sister." 

 

Wick's eyelids lowered from the weight of the prince's comment. He wasn't in peak physical condition, and he was out of cloud fragments. Not to mention, time was certainly against. him. I hope you all figure this out soon, he thought. I'm in no condition to take on a unicorn of his stature.
