visual art Manga-ish things

After over a month of drawing ponies I decided to try something else:

 

 

First two are attempts to copy this and this, and the third one comes from my sick imagination. Whaddya think?

What I can generally tell is that the face should be the halve of the head and thus the hair is too small especially with the second one 
Also his eye's aren't on 1 line but aside of that it is pretty good

although it scares me

I think the first one (I think it is Alucard from Hellsing?) is the best piece here. It looks to be the most proportioned out of the 3. I agree on what Sensuna has said, but these aren't bad at all. You have great potential! 

 

One thing I like about drawing 1 and 3, is that they don't follow under the common "anime" style. They have a more sinister, and detailed feel, which can make crazy/angry expressions look horrifying. That's why the 1's drawing reminds me of Alucard so much.

 

So if you can draw these, I am sure you can draw "regular" manga/anime styles with enough practice too

It is Alucard I love Hellsing, I love Hellsing's art style, (that's what I was aiming for in drawing 3). I know there are many mistakes, but oh well. It's something. Thanks

Well, you may of made mistakes, but I was able to identify who it was, so that is a big achievement too! Just keep practicing and you will do amazing things!

Nicely done mate, I'm proud that you decided to try something besides drawing ponies. 

 

I know the first two characters quite well, the third one is quite interesting. You say that you drew it out of your 'sick mind' but it reminds me of a Titan from Attack On Titan. A Titan which affected the very life of the protagonist, how peculiar indeed.

This isn't entirely true. If the hair is laid back flat against the head, then it shouldn't go off of the scalp much. He actually drew Edward pretty well.
