when I read godzilla, I thought you mean the one form the 90's that was out at sea and had godzookie.

to be honest, I don't remember this series at all. it reminds me of some of the early 2000's show that try to capitalize on the buzz of movies, like alienators, tarzan and kong

This one?

Or you meant this one?

I saw both, I think the Hanna Barbera one is silly now, but the one which capitalized the infamous movie is awesome. Hell, even the japanese (original actually) Godzilla producers loved it

Indeed, a cartoon based on a disrespectful movie towards the Godzilla franchise actually was better than a cartoon made by Hanna-Barbera.

That's impressive, you can tell that they put much more effort into the Zilla cartoon than in the 98 movie.

Well, some of the main criticism of the American Godzilla, were the lack of key elements that make Godzilla eh...... Godzilla, namely, giant monsters fight, atomic breath, and general resistance of the main character (it was killed by missiles in the movie). Things that made a welcome return in the cartoon, plus the few positive aspects of the movie, like more agility and greater intelligence in combat, making it one of the most powerful incarnations of the character. It's also noted for a cartoon for older children, it was incredibly violent, they didn't toned down the big blows or monsters melting or being incinerated either

I certainly agree. The Hanna-Barbera was cheesy. But hey, did Zilla Jr had LASER EYES?

Yes.  I've seen both and they are both fantastic.  (The 1998 series with Zilla Jr. was amazing after that abomination film by Emmerich)

Sort of? I love Tokusatsu, and Dai Kaiju movies/shows are in a similar vein. But as far as Godzilla, I'm more of a casual viewer, but I prefer if it is something made by the Japanese company that owns it or if the American production team at least collaborated with them throughout the entire project.
