Tempest was slightly surprised at this. "So, this thing might be some form of evolution?" He asked. "That is highly unlikely." Tempest noticed Thunder's scent in the air. He smirked and waited for an opportunity. "Anyway, is there anything tha texplains how I might be somehow resisting the infection. It just doesn't make sense." The cyan pegesus noticed that Thunder's scent was in the air,"Something isn't right.Thunder shouldn't know where we are." He thought

"I may have an idea. Something was occupying that part of your mind before the virus" He pulled out the X-ray of Crimsons head. "Crimsons brain is unaffected. Yours is only slightly larger than the average, that proves my hypothesis. It isn't so much of an evolution. The virus makes us more animal-like." He picked up a syringe. It had a bluish liquid in it. "With the info I had, I managed to make a serum that 'could' suppress the need for blood, allowing its user to think more clearly."

Tempest sighed. "This still doesn't make sense. When I was first bitten, I was similar to THUNDER." He said, putting emphasis on said vamponies name. "I know that whatever is in that part of my brain pretty much subdued the infection, at least for now,but what could possibly be stronger." The cyan Pegesus then realized something. "If any of the other vamponies knew about this, then they may kill me." He thought. The cyan Pegesus felt his heart rate increasing, but he tried to remain calm.

Thunder kept watch on everypony in the room. He got a clear look of his surroundings. Making it easy for him to figure out who to hunt first and who to kill and get out the the way. Then something inside him made him realize this wasn't right. "Nonono, thunder fight your hunger" said thunder slowly walking back.

Wonder thought about this for a very long time. The silence in the room was bordering on awkward. He sighed, then said, "A need to fight for survival. Some ponies just want to live.... just a little bit more." He turns and looks into the halls. He faintly sees two eyes in the dark. 'Aww, fuck.' He thought. He still had the syringe in his hoof. He doesn't say a word though.

Tempest nodded. He noticed his armour and swords in the far corner of the room and facehoofed."That's just bloody perfect." He muttered. The cyan pegesus then had a idea. He leaped off the CT table and grabbed his swords and armour. He quickly put the armor on and drew his weapons. "Hello, Thunder." He said. "It"s been a while, hasn't it." The cyan pegesus then glanced at Wonder. "Leave."

Wonder nodded. He was about to step out when he turned around. He walked up to Tempest and placed the serum in his hoof. "Back of the head, he should begin to come to his senses almost immediately." He patted him on the shoulder and slipped out headed toward the ICU.

Thunder looked at tempest "stay away, please. I don't want....to...URRRGH, I can't fight you.....don't get near me" said thunder. "I need to learn how to control this" thunder gritted his teeth, he didnt feel right. "Don't make me fight tempest just let me leave.......now please..." Said thunder trying to control himself.

Tempest nooded. "Ok, but first answer this. How did you know where we were?" He asked. The cyan pegesus got in a fighting stance, just in case Thunder decided to attack. "I doubt any of the vamponies in the crystal empire saw me leave." Tempest trotted slowly towards Thunder, so that he could use the syringe. "Are there any more vamponies coming here?" He asked, slowly getting ready to inject the syringe into Thunder.

Thunder saw the syringe in the corner of his eye, he felt scared. "I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE" said thunder hitting tempest in the chest with a punch strong enough to brake bones, then he brought his other foot down to do a sweeping trip, and made tempest fall onto the ground, and thunder kicked tempest away from him

Golden Age walked backed in to the site of Tempest on the ground and Thunder in a pose of attack.

 

Why do I have to put up with this bloody stuff? He asked himself

 

"Thunder, long time no see, tell me, how have ye been!?" He said with an almost-friendly smile on his face

Tempest smirked as he stood up. He noticed that the syringe had broken, spilling the contents onto the tiled floor. He sighed and smirked. "Looks like we'll have to do this the hard way. I'm trying to help you Thunder." The cyan Pegesus then charged at said vampony with his swords drawn. He didn't want to kill him. He only want to knock him out. When jhe got close enough, Tempest rammed into Thunder, sending him into a wall.

Wonder could hear them fighting. He sighed. "Some days, I wish that I had been infected." He turned around, but not after grabbing another syringe of the serum. 'Fuck, only a half dose.' He walked towards the source of the fighting. He found them and Golden age. "Step back Goldie. There's a strong chance this could get ugly."

"As you wish, professor" he said with a grin, moving himself to a corner. He watched with curious eyes, all the while taking out a handkerchief and spit-polishing his bayonet, as if "the shinier a weapon is, the scarier a weapon is" was a well-proven science

Thunder grunted and coughed up blood when he was hit. Thunder looked down, he grabbed tempest's neck, and used it to throw him away, then thunder appeared in the direction of where tempest was going, thunder punched him in the side breaking a rib. Then he dashed to tempests front and brought a hoof up to tempest chin, performing a uppercut.

Tempest hit the ceiling,but his body would heal quickly. "Doc, stick him with the needle. I'll hold him down." He said, glancing at Wonder. The cyan pegesus then used his enhanced speed to almost instantly appear behind Thunder. Before he could turn around, Tempest did a roundhouse kick to his side. He then put the vampony in a choke hold. "Wonder, where's that needle?!"

Wonder suddenly gets an idea. He pulls out his gunblade and loads the syringe into it. He zones it on Thunder. "Last one, last chance. if this doesn't hit, then I'll have to use a silver one." he takes a deep breath, cocks it, and shoots it at the back of Thunders head.

Thunder tilts his head and kicks tempest with his hind leg. Making tempest go up, the needle hit tempest, and thunder got out of the choke hold. He then jumped away. And stood still, he wiped his own blood away from his lips. He looked at the group "please......" He said.

Tempest winced as his eyes dialated. He felt a hunger for blood. "This ends now." He roared as he slammed Thunder into the ground and bit him in the neck, feeding on the blood of the vampony. He honestly didn't know what would happened, but he honestly didn't care. His instincts were influencing him.

 

"This can't be good." Tempest's mental image thought. "His instincts are in control." The mental image then looked at his friends. "If the vampony blood doesn't satisfy him, then he may turn on them."

 

After a few seconds, Tempest let go of Thumder. Thankfully, he didn't kill him from the blood loss.

Wonder gritted his teeth. "That's it." He said cocking the gun again. "Silver it is!" He had the gun trained on Tempest. He wasn't missing this time. He then took a long pause with the weapon aimed at Tempest. He moved it last second and shot him in the legs. "Sorry." He walked up to Thunder lying on the ground and hit him in the head with the gun.

Thunder screamed in agony as tempest fangs pierced his neck, he felt light headed as almost all his blood was drained from his body. He then was weak....limb....and most of all, he was starving. Thunder looked up at wonder, and when the back of the gun hit his face, everything went black.

Wonder did the same to Tempest. He carried them both with ease. Through each ward he thought about what had just happened. 'I'll let them have some time to cool down.' He thought that he could even use this to help the cause. He put Tempest in a rubber room by himself, and Thunder in another. He took some of his own blood and put it in two IV bags. He then had an even better idea. He took the time and made some more serum, and put it into the bags. He tosses a blood bag to the both of them. He then sits down to wait for them to wake up.

Tempest groaned as he floated through the darkness of his mind. "Huh, so this is what a vamponies mind looks like." He thought. The cyan Pegesus sighed as he relaxed.

 

"You would be more or less right." The mental image of Tempest said. "Honestly, what in the name of Luna were you thinking. You could have killed Thunder." The mental image then sighed. "Anyway, I suggest you just wait to regain conciousness.

 

The cyan pegesus nodded as he fell asleep, ending the conversation with himself.

Thunder awoke in the room, he looked at the bag of blood. He took a hoof and poked it. He then ripped it open, and smelled the blood. It gave a distinct smell. It wasn't right. He backed up and growled, then he got into a corner and curled up into a fetile position and put his head down.
