I was bored so I drew Scootaloo wearing a very specific jacket in light of a very specific 25th anniversary coming up in July.

 

Lopsided CMC emblem aside, consider this the beta for a project I have in the pipeline...

 

Citrus didn't listen to anything while drawing this abomination because he is lonely.

Anyways, great drawing! Love the coat, and really love the determined look on her face, reminds me of her older sister Rainbow Dash.

And it sucks super hard in this particular picture, too. How is she suppose to fight off the Clowns at 100 MPH in the streets of Neo Ponyville without the wings to power her futuristic motor-scooter?

Looks good, I like it I suppose. Not exactly sure what it's referencing though. Still, I quite like the look of the whole thing, nice work overall I would say.

You know, I was actually thinking about that. The motorcycle just seemed to fit Scoots, so I just assumes that she'd be Kaneda. I can't really figure out which CMC would be Tetsuo. Applebloom, because she has also identity issues? What does that make Sweetie, Yamagata? Would Babs be Kai?

 

Yeah, Pipsqueak would be Kei, seeing as how all the genders are switched.

 

I dunno, I guess the more obvious choice would be Dash as Kaneda and Twilight as Tetsuo.

 

And Derpy would be Akira.

Kai would be replaced with Sweetie Belle while Applebloom would be Kei 'cause ScootaBloom 

 

Of course this is if we keep the movie rated R, it'd be much more flexible if it was to be brought down to a G rating. I feel quite silly thinking about this but it gave me a giggle

It's funny you should mention toning it down. The remake Warner Bros. was gearing up to make was going to be PG-13 and have Tetsuo be turned good again and not turn into the Stay Puft Tumor Baby. And it was set in New York. And everyone would be white and in their 30's.

 

That adaptation would have made Last Airbender look like child's play. Humanity dodged a bullet right there.
