Royal chuckled.

"Yea, it seems we've only done this on the couch and on a hospital bed. How many times have we even slept on our beds?" Royal smiled, letting out a sigh. Far as he knew, he only spent one night in his actual room.

"Come to think of it, you spent that one night in a cocoon." He chuckled, slightly adjusting himself so he could feel her heartbeat through his hooves.

Saro shrugs, "I'm not really 'anywhere'. I don't live on campus."

"Yeah, once."

Denim chuckles, "In all fairness, that was a kind of comfortable."

She sighs contentedly, "But not quite as much as this."

She looks up at him without shifting her head, "I'm looking forward to tomorrow. We can finally start making good on those plans."

Denim chuckles, "In all fairness, that was a kind of comfortable."

She sighs contentedly, "But not quite as much as this."

She looks up at him without shifting her head, "I'm looking forward to tomorrow. We can finally start making good on those plans."

"Wait youvre not?" Agile asks in a perplexed manner. "Then how the hell do they let you on Campus if you don't live on it? Do you just walk in without a care in the world and pretend like you live there?

Stumbling back to his dorm room much later than Minty, Windy flopped onto his bed with a stupidly vacant smile on his face. Cinder and him had had a great day. "Wow, that was so much fun! We went to the movies, we did mini-golf, turned up at that super-duper exclusive Alpha Sorority party, and had a great time the whole way through! Man, she's so pretty....... Wait, isn't this kind of wrong? What do you mean brain? Windy, are you forgetting about the mare laying one bed away from you, Minty? Where does she factor into all of this? Oh.... uh..... I don't know, ok?! I'll figure it out in due time. I mean, Cinder and I didn't do anything explicit, it could just be friendly hanging out. You and her both know that wasn't just friends hanging out Windy. Shut up Brain, I'll figure out a solution to this! Soon! Alright? Ok Windy, just be careful......."

 

Doing his best to shut out any thoughts of Minty or Cinder, Windy tossed and turned and tried to fall asleep.

After sitting around and waiting for himself to stop bleeding, Blaze limped over to Minty and Windys dorm, knocking ver loudly and rudley. "WINDY!" he yelled. "GET OVER HERE SO I CAN TALK TO YOU!"

Royal smiled.

"Yes, it looked quite comfortable under those twenty layers of sheets." He chuckled. Royal rubbed his eyes with his hoof that wasn't around denim. He was tired a bit, sure, but he wasn't going to let it stop him.

"We'll get you a dress, have a nice, fancy dinner, and then we can get ready for your brothers visit. It'll be nice."

He waves a hoof, "I have a student's ID, which is how I get in."

Denim smiles, leaning herself closer against him, "I'm gonna enjoy seeing you in a suit."

She gently takes her arm from around him, and slowly traces a heart on his stomach. She chuckles, "We always seem to end up like this."

Denim tucks her arm around him again, looser than last time.

Denim tucks her arm around him again, looser than last time.

"Yeah well you get off lucky." Agile retorted. "I have to share with a roomate. Stupid, kidd keeps trying to hit on me. Didn't even know my name before he tried." She made a gagging sound. "Hate stuff like that. Can't stand romance or whatnot. Just, eck. Never getting a relationship. Ever."

Royal smiled. "It'll be nice to see you in a dress. What do you think, light blue dress?" He chuckled.

He smiled as she traced his chest.

"Yes, we seem to always end up in strange cuddling positions whenever we get together. Maybe once we're in public and people are giving us awkward stares we'd fins a way to stop." He grinned. "Not that i'd want to..." He said, nuzzling her again.

Denim hums, as if pondering, "Mmm'yeah. I think that sounds pretty good."

She laughs, "Maaybee.. I think they'd just be jealous."

She giggles when he nuzzles her, tightening her grip on him. She was about to speak when the door opened.

 

Sanatore stepped through, and upon seeing them, chuckled, "Oh come on you two, you'll have plenty of time for that tomorrow.  Plus, you're starting to make me jealous!" She says, jokingly.

Trotting forward until she is a few feet from the bed, she waves a hoof, "Now, as much as I'd like to let you stay, I'm afraid I am going to have to ask you to leave today. My supervisor wasn't the happiest of ponies when he found out I let you stay here last night," The Crystal mare rolls her eyes, "Guess you can't expect an old stallion like him to understand, huh?" She chuckles.

 

Denim sighs, but nods to her, "Yeah, I suppose you can't expect him to."

She sits up, giving Royal's cheek a quick kiss before slipping off the bed, "You gonna be alright sleeping on your own tonight?" 

She says quietly, with a wink.

Royal chuckled, and was about to talk when the nurse pony came in. He gave her a smile and a nod. 

He chuckled a bit. He remembered meeting the said pony before, he seemed quite reserved, and though royal used to be, he wasn't quite so anymore. He guessed he had denim to thank for that.

"Yes, i think i'll be able to get through the night without someone to cuddle. I suppose i always have the pillow, though." He chuckled.

Denim laughs, "Yeah, I guess I'll have to make due with a pillow myself... Ah well."

She gives his cheek one more quick kiss before making for the door, "Bye now! I'll meet you here tomorrow, out in the lobby, yeah?"

As much as she would have liked, Denim couldn't quite bring herself to kiss Royal on the lips in front of other ponies, even a mare like Sanatore.

Royal laughed.

"Or wrap yourself in covers. I'm pretty sure you took some from someone else, i'm not sure we had that many before." He smiled and closed his eyes as she kissed him.

"Don't worry. I'll get out in the morning and meet you after class. Not like i could really run off anywhere, aye?"

Denim giggles, "I cannot account for the things I did that night."

 

She opens the door, nodding to him, "Sounds good! See you then," she winks, "Nowhere I wouldn't eventually find you."

She smiles once more, closing her eyes, before shutting the door and turning to walk down the hall towards the exit.

 

 

Sanatore stands quietly by until Denim leaves, before chuckling, "I'm assuming there is an interesting story behind that. Anyway, you should get some rest. Want to be running at full capacity tomorrow, yeah?"

 

She makes towards the door herself.

Royal smiled and nodded as denim left, and he stretched, letting out a long sigh.

He found himself able to sleep fairly fast.

Royal sighed. Paperwork was boring, and while he could easily pay for the damages, he assumed the paperwork would be easy, but found it quite tedious.

They let him go quickly after that, and he stepped outside to take a deep breath of fresh air. Denim would be out of classes soon, but he decided to go for a walk for a bit.

"You know I'm just gonna go with you and whatever you are doing cause I cannot remember a thing of what I was going to do. Probably something involving these drinks." She shrugs. "I dunno".

Today was slightly more eventful than last. The experiment in Arcane Science was continued, and it went a little better than last time. The professor wasn't nearly fried.

 

Denim rushed out of classes to meet up with Royal as soon as she was released.

Royal stretched out on the bench, giving a bit of a yawn, trying to wake himself up.

He had laid in that bed for far to long, he decided. He told himself that he needed to do some exercise more often, or his lifestyle would end up spoiling him. As he thought of it, he remembered that windy did some exercises in the morn, so he'd have to go ask to join them sometime, that is, if windy wasn't busy getting in trouble with todd.

Royal looked over the bench to see denim.

"Oy, denim!" He said, loud as he could. "I'm over here."

Stopping in her path towards the hospital, Denim turns towards the sound of his voice. When she spots him, her expression brightens and she waves, before trotting over, "Hey!" She says when she nears, "Good to see you up and about! Happy to finally be out of that hospital bed, and on your own four hooves again?"

She smiles at him as she speaks.

"Come take a seat." He said, waving his hoof to a spot next to him.

"Pretty happy." He responded. "It's nice to get some fresh air, y'know?" He said, stretching again. "I'm gonna have to do some running, now. I thought about asking to join windy, actually."

Denim tilts her head slightly, "Oh? That's nice. Get to know him a little better, I suppose."

 

She looks up at the sky, taking a deep breath of the fresh air, "Did you sleep well last night?"

She asks, partially joking, but partially serious.

Royal chuckled. "Yea, never was much one for exercise, i remember cap was always the one for that." 

Royal nodded. "And ask him what the hell he's been doing, too."

 

Royal hesitated. In truth, he stared at the future cards for quite a while before falling asleep. His magic to sustain pooped him out, so after he fell asleep well, but he didn't want to bring it up.

"Fairly well. The pillow was an ill substitute to you, but i slept all the same."

She shakes her head, "I used to think that drama like that really only existed in stories. Never would've expected it in real life."

 

Denim laughs, "I'll see if I can't make up for that tonight. Also, I'm pretty sure I chose the wrong bed that first day. Your's is a lot more comfortable," she taps her chin, "But then again, I wasn't wrapped in layer after layer of sheets last night."
