Hey everypony, I'm new here. I'm a 22 year old guy, and never imagined I'd wind up being obsessed with a show about talking ponies... yet after one fatefull day after losing the remote after watching Animaniacs for nostalgic purposes, it happened. I am now a brony.

 

On that note, I have a cousin who is skeptical about the show... anypony have a good suggestion for which episode I should have him watch to get him as addicted to the show as I am? I was thinking Dragonshy or perhaps Bridle Gossip. Thanks in advance for any good suggestions.

Hey there! Welcome to the forum! It's funny how you suggest Dragonshy because that's exactly what I suggested my friend watch. Haha Personally though if I could go back and choose an episode it would just be anything from season 2. That's my favorite season. :3

Oh! Well, hello there and welcome! Not many would expect to be into a show like it, but I'm most certainly happy that you had! ^^ It's always such fun to make new friends on here! As far as which episode to show, I'd suggest the first only because it would give the person an understanding of the show better than the other episodes.  It's just my opinion, of course! While it's arguably not the most 'exciting', it will give them some understanding of everything that goes on, I guess.  I actually showed my brother the first episode, only because when I showed him something else first, he didn't understand and didn't show too much interest or would ask so many questions, he barely got to watch it.  When I showed him from the beginning, he managed to watch and understand everything after.

 

Sorry about the wall of text! ^^ Just stating my opinion.  Anyway, I do hope you enjoy your stay here! I don't doubt that you will! If you need some help for whatever reason or simply need someone to chat with, feel free to message me at any time! I'm often time pretty free to respond.

As for the first two episodes.. they are the only way to get a true introduction to the characters.. but I've heard that those episodes lead you to beleive the show is going to take another direction than what it did... although I'm not sure as I saw other episodes before them.

 

... I suppose I could just tie him to a chair and force his eyelids open as I play every episode lol
