private A Night in the Slammer

"...Try what? What was your idea?", Lite whispered back to him, before cocking her head to see Arctic Frost almost collapsing down. On the inside, this was actually a bit irritating for her, but on the outside, she did show some pity. Can't escape with having a physically handicapped pony from a hangover if he can't even walk on his own four hooves.

A sigh came from Lite. "So, you can't walk... Fine. Get up on my back. It'll slow us down, but I highly doubt that you would be the best at stealth if you can't even trot with that condition of yours..."

"Well excuuuuuse me for not realizing what that colt was getting at..." He raised an eyebrow at her suggestion, azure blue eyes looking quizzical. She wanted him to what now? Arctic Frost seriously wondered if she could even lift him. And wasn't it supposed to be the other way around? The tidal wave of questions hit him hard, giving him another slight cringe as his head pulsed once more. Right, right. Onto the nice mare's back.

Frost wasn't exactly heavy, rather, he was below the average weight of a pegasus stallion. He took it as a blessing, not a curse. With a grunt, the pegasus heaved himself onto the mare's back, aiming to put the least amount of weight on her as possible. "I was thinking...about us sticking to the shadows and...following the most concentrated area of guards. With any luck...it won't be a maze, and we won't run into anypony." A simple plan, but Frost thought it could work out. He snorted. "And let me know if I...get to be a burden or anything. I wouldn't want to...weigh you down too much."

Lite did not answer him right away. She was more focused on the fact that the guards could be right behind them, instead of right around the corner.

"Right now... Time lapsed has been about 2 minutes. 23 to go. Shadows will work perfectly for this situation, but this jacket and horn casing is a total plain out sight. Even if we were to go in shadows, I of course would still be spotted. Now--" Lite looked up to the ceiling, vast and basically unarmed at this point in time... That would be a perfect plan, but when you've got a handicapped Pegasus on you, it wouldn't be for the best.

"All right... Arctic Frost. First, how much of a risk taker are you? We've got, hmm... 21 and a half minutes left. You see the ceiling up there? How much can you carry and hover is needed for this."

Frost blinked, giving the ceiling a thoughtful look. "Depends what you have in mind. In a non-hindered state? Probably anything up to an adolescent mare." The pegasus prided himself on the weight he could carry, often having to help his bandmates carry amps and stage supplies when they needed a helping hoof. At this point, however, his strength wasn't quite up to par. "As of now...probably the weight of a foal or two." He wondered what the mare was thinking about.

Lite sighed a bit, displeased. "Should have figured... For now, we stick to the shadows. Make a single move, you're caught-- nay, we're caught, thrown in the cell. Charged with escaping, more punishment, more time in the slammer, and that would possibly mean that I would be executed immediately... I wonder how they do it here. Electric current to the horn? Ripping the wings off of ponies? Simple cyanide, perhaps? Or-- OOH! Maybe they have some sort of incinerating machine... Maybe Celestia is not that cruel...

...OK, I've quit rambling. Let's move." She looked down the hallway, seeing if there were any guards around, making sure not to make Arctic Frost fall.

Frost snorted. "Believe me, even if I COULD move right now, I wouldn't." That was saying a lot in Frost's case, especially since he was currently laying on a mare's back. Truthfully, he'd have preferred it the other way, but he'd have plenty of time for that when they had finally escaped. The gray pegasus shuddered a bit at Lite's musings. "You weren't this morbid when I met you up in the food court in Canterlot, I swear." But...what DID they do to execute ponies in prisons? Would the Princess even allow the execution of one of her subjects? "Either that or pitting cellmates against each other in a battle to the death," he muttered aloud. "Winner goes free of charge." He somehow doubted the Princesses would approve of that.

"And no, I wouldn't have enjoyed having to fight you, if that's what you were thinking."
