Jake sat down near the gate to the cage. "What's your opinion on Celestia?" He asks her as his own mind began to wander. It drifted to his past, his present, and never even looked to his future. "You know, I never think about my future. I just let stuff happen. Live now, and not later. How do you think about your life?"

Once the metal of the dart touched her head, her whole body suddenly changed its material to a iron base. Making the needle not pierce her skin. She turned around and landed a bone crushing punch to his chin, then as he came down. She kicked him in the side, shooting him away. "Tsk tsk tsk, you should learn how to treat your lady with respect."

Armageddon calmly watched the party from the shadows of a nearby tower, grinning evilly as he could see his traitor of a brother converse with a rainbow maned mare. "So you've found a new whore have you brother? Well, looks lik ill have to kill her too... right after I kill those damn princesses!" He mumbled with an evil smirk.

Dark was slightly interested now. "I only know about Celestia from what I've heard. She's a good ruler and actually cares about her subjects. As for my life, I never really gave it that much if a thought." She said.

 

Dash glanced at Sole. "Wait,the NLR is back? I thought that was over and done with."

 

Tempest sensed a new aura and galloped to the gardens. He noticed Armageddon and drew his swords. "Who are you?" He asked.

Fireblaze felt that trouble was there, then he knew something was wrong and then began to fly towards were Dash were. As more darkness began to move into him and was still not happy but he was not let anyone hurt his friends too even Dash as he was flying faster.

Sole shrugged "it kinda slipped my mind when I saw you with blaze" he said honestly "and I kinda already fought the leader, right before tempest revived my powers." He said, thinking back "without my powers, that bastard almost killed me... but I'll return the favor, real soon." He said quietly.

 

Armageddon turned to tempest and smiled "well, your an annoying one aren't you?" He said lazily, as he narrowed his eyes "just as father described you... and just as he described the others..." he said ominously.

"Hmm, tell me. Have you ever heard of a village that went by the name of Ironditch?" He said deep into his concentration. He looked up toward the starry night, looking as though someone would look back. "I know that I don't give much time to answer. I'm a soldier. I was always saw life as something to cherish, not take for granted. It's freeing, time to always say a prayer, and kiss the ground when you come back."

Tempest smirked. "So, I guess you already know what I'm capable of." He said, as his aura surrounded him. "If you really are a son of Discord, then this should be interesting."

 

Dark shook her head. "Sadly,I haven't." She said. "I may have to visit there in the future." The black dragon then thought of what Jake had said about life.

"You can't. You haven't heard about it because it doesn't exist. It's gone." He said looking down at the ground. His mane flopped down into his eyes. It came down completely hiding his face, which was twisted into an expressionless frown. "It's now known as the Ash Deserts because Celestia gave the order to raze it. That's not just a clever name. It's really ash."

Sole looked over to dash and smiled "I was gonna ask you if you wanted to be my marefreind, but with what's happened with blaze..." he sighed "you probably wouldn't choose between us anyways, am I right?" He asked.

 

Armageddon grinned darkly, as he sank into the shadows. "Not for you..." he said darkly, as shadow tendrils shot at tempest from every direction.

Dark glanced at Jake. "I didn't know about that." She said. "What reason would Celestia have to destroy a small village?"

 

Dash nodded. "I just need some time to clear my head." She said.

 

Tempest dodged the tendrils and sent multiple aura spheres at Armageddon.

"One thief. That thief stole a half loaf of bread to feed his daughter. We were a mining village. Nopony ever made much more than 500 bits a year." He said looking back up. He could see everything as it happened in front of him. "They didn't know what he looked like. They didn't know where he lived. So, she gave an order." He paused somberly. He slipped a small yellowing slip of paper into the cage. "It has her seal of address and everything..........."

 

"Kill. Everyone."

Sole sighed and nodded "I understand, but it doesn't mean I've gotta like it." He said calmly "I honestly feel bad about both of us springing this on you at the same time, especially at a party." He said sheepishly "but at least your still talking to me, that's a start." He said jokingly.

 

All of the orbs passed through armageddon harmlessly. "Hehe, did you really expect to be able to harm one such as me?" He said boastfully "I'm more powerful then even my father, I am a god!" He growled, as a large tendril of shadows grabbed tempest and slammed him into the ground below.

Fireblaze knew Dash was safe, but he heading to the Cliffs while he sit-down and then looking at the star as he was sad. While thinking his missing parents while he don’t want to be alone and now this going to happen while darkness began to cover him while he was lost in thought.

Dark felt her stomach in her throat. She wanted to puke. "I... I can't believe that Celestia would do something like this. How could anypony be that heartless?"

 

Tempest stood up as he popped some bones back into place. "Yeah, I kind of did." He said. The cyan pegesus then laughed slightly. "Let me guess, your Sole's brother?"

Armageddon grinned at the question "yes, I remember father mentioning your freindship with that traitor." He said calmly "but I'm sorry to say me and that traitor aren't on the best of terms, in fact, I'm going to destroy everything he holds dear... after I kill the princesses of corse." He smiled and teleported under him and uppercutted him in the jaw, before grabbing his leg and throwing him through a wall.

"And I call myself a soldier and not a warrior, because I fight for my own beliefs instead of honor." He didn't want to say it to someone that he'd only just met, but he had to spill his guts to someone. "My mother, the only family that I had in the world died there. Celestia found out that I was alive. She sent me a letter, 'Whoops' it said, with 200 bits stashed in it. I'm not the best pony, but after that...... any leader is better than that. That's why I fight for Luna. I just want to ask her why."

Dark glanced at Jake, "I'm sorry," She said. The black dragon then sighed. "Give me a few hours to think this over. I'll have one of your guards go get you when I have made my decision."

 

Tempest simply stood up as his aura healed him. "You honestly have no idea what you're dealing with, do you?" He asked, letting his anger out. "Nopony threatens my friends and lives long." The aura around Tempest's body grew more and more violent.

Thunder was in the everfree. He was way to far in to be seen from anyone, in fact he wasn't even close, to ponyville. But he had a bright smile on his face. "Finally my training is complete" he said. Around all his legs where training weights. He thought of how his friends would act if they saw him.....wait, no he was still apart of NLR, so something still had to be done.

Sole sighed, happy to be around his loved ones in peace. "So dashie, what do you think of the party so far?" He asked noncholantly.

 

Armageddon grinned evilly at tempest's words "funny..." he said slowly "I seem to remember sole saying something similar... right before I killed his lover!" He laughed evilly, as he threw a large wave of shadows at tempst.

Jake nodded and stood up. He was about to salute the guard, but instead simply waved his forehoof. He walked on toward the parapet and up the tower. He sat on a stool at the top and took a couple of drinks out of a bottle of scotch. He sighed. "Miss ya ma. You already know that though."

Tempest smirked and absorbed the shadows. "You probably shouldn't have done." Tempest said. The cyan pegesus then made a ball of light appear in front of him. "I think you know what comes next."

 

Dark sighed and thought about what Jake had told her and what she should do. "If I join him, then I'll betray my friends." She said. "If I don't, Celestia will still rule."

 

Dash smiled. "It's pretty cool." She said. "I honestly didn't think Tempest was the type of pony that sang."

Golden Age walked through the dense forest of the Everfree Forest, carrying a bouquet of flowers. He was searching for a clearing. There were not many clearings in the Everfree, but this one had been burned into his memory. He finally came upon the clearing.

 

He slowly walked up to the center of the small hill that took up most of the free space. He looked up into the night sky, gazing at the stars above the tree canopy. He placed the flowers on the ground and mumbled a few sentences.

 

"Bastards..." he said out loud, walking away back into the dense forest.

Jake saw Goldie and hopped off of the tower and onto the ground. He didn't even open his wings to slow down. He walked over and looked at him from across the clearing. "Regret is a pressurous feeling isn't it? I know all too well." The wind blew the back of his fur coat around him.
