I do not lose respect for those who have not seen the movies I like. That's just being petty. I do encourage my friends to see certain films, however. My list includes:

 

  • Tremors
  • Evil Dead Trilogy
  • Human Centipede
  • SAW
  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre
  • RUBBER
  • Summer Wars
  • HOUSE "Ding Dong You're Dead"

 

But... But...

The Human Centipede is really an overrated movie. It could simply be that I'm completely desensitized to human suffering, but that movie just couldn't hold my interests. I do agree about SAW, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Tremors though. On top of that, everyone should watch the first Hellraiser, and at least the first two Alien films.

I think everybody needs to see The Shawshank Redemption. Seriously.. if you haven't seen it yet, drop what you're doing and go watch it! There are plenty of other films that I love, but this one holds
