I won't be able to sustain a pace like this either.  This is my day off, and my character is in rather perilous peril, so that's kinda spurred me to post fast.  But I do have other things to do today, so I'll probably just have to live with the cliffhanger.  Plus, Silas and Morgan are currently in a conversation rather than a blow-by-blow fight scene, so it makes sense that your "turns" would be slower than ours.  Nutshell: Please don't cry!  You're not a fool.

I have to agree with that sentiment everyone.  Given the amazing quality of work people are producing I don't really want to discourage anyone. However; I also work some very strange shifts and am quite picky when it comes to writing, making the time I have pretty limited.  Perhaps it's best to curve things a little?  

 

What about a max of two posts per cycle, a cycle being complete once all players have posted at least one reaction to an event post.  Things need not be so strict for conversational interaction of course, but actual actions wise it leaves room for a 'main action' and a 'reaction' to others, whilst keeping the post spots open for other players (and slow typing gm) to keep pace.

 

 What'cha think?

That's actually a good idea, considering the plot advances are depending on your posts. I'm all in for that idea

I'm not all that sure actually.  Given that up till now he has been fairly prompt with responses to the OOC, it seems odd that he hasn't at the very least posted up or responded to my PM yesterday morning.  However, his profile says he hasn't been online since I asked him to remove the post (4am yesterday), so it could be either-or.

 

BTW! I will be at the Yorkshire show today, so you shall have to wait for this evening for Cerberus to nom you face

No. We want to limit the posts so we would wait until every RPer has posted at least once to post again. But I was thinking that after one day and not every RPer has posted it would be fine to post...

Plus it's not like you Can't write an 800 character post...just set a limit for yourself and don't post until you've reached 800 characters...

I just feel it would be better off, everyone has posted more than 800 characters so far without a problem, and the only person who hasn't posted 800 characters has quit the RP, or so it seems. An 800 character limit makes you make posts worth reading, especially if we're only having one a day. It makes you think about what you're posting, and not just posting random crap for the sake of it. 

 

Not that any of us have done that, i'm just saying that's a good benefit of advanced RPs, especially for one like this where we have a competent group of RP'ers.

We've just started, later in the RP When you and another character get talking about simple stuff, 800 characters is a nightmare.

If there was a way around the character limit, it would have been nice to start this game in the advanced section simply to keep it separate. But whist we do have a brilliant group here, I can sense 800 may be pushing it for instances where shorter responses are called for.  

 

As for the post thing, we're probably best playing it by ear for the time being.  Essentially it's just a case of making sure we give everyone time to react to events and respond to other players. 

 

Now that everyone has responded at least once, I should be posting up shortly.  The Great yorkshire show took a lot out of me though, it was 31 degrees in the sun x_x  loads of fun but way too hot.  As soon as this headache dies down I'll get to the beast's next movements

I like how this RP started off so far, posts are actually meaningful instead of just posted for the sake of posting, and Shanashie has clearly put a lot of effort into getting this started and making a quality experience. 

 

It'd be a shame to see a wasted effort...

Still here.  I'm hoping that face up in the clouds is Dashie, since I'm guessing we're going to need someone to save our characters' human-shaped hindquarters pretty soon.  Though I'd settle for flutters coming down and giving the over-aggressive doggie a really serious talking-to about how one treats visitors and such.

Pinky has been super buissy as of late and hasn't had the chance to post.  However, we might need to move on shortly anyway.  I'll start work on the next event post as soon as I get back from work tonight, around 3 ish.   Hopefuly I'll have finished it by this evening, and fingers crossed Pinky will have posted by then  

As the witching hour approaches, I've come to realise several things.  One; OOC just hit a hundred posts!  And Two; I think my brain shorted out.  Anyone know if consent dizziness is a thing with insomnia? Can't seem to shake it :S
