...Yeah,i guess we do have a lot of cleaning to do.."Walking and grabbing a mop and bucket before going to clean up the TARDIS,he cleaned the walls first,then he started to clean the console.He was halfway through cleaning when he started to get tired.He turned to the Doctor and said"Im getting tired,can you take it from here?"Before falling Asleep

 

"Gah! Not you too!" The Doctor sighed in dismay. He was one of the only ponies in the TARDIS who was still awake. He couldn't blame Pinkie Pie and Dissy for their exhaustion though. They had been through a lot this day. Dissy had to suffer as a mare and Pinkie Pie...well she had exhausted all her energy, which the Doctor didn't think would ever be possible.

 

A couple thoughts came to his head while he was cleaning. Some deep and curious thoughts.

 

Once we head back, how exactly are we going to stop Discord? He's an embodiment, a personification of chaos...surely that will be a major challenge to deal with.

 

And what happens after all this. If we do successfully save Equestria? What then? Do I go back to my TARDIS and continue what I have been doing....for over nine centuries? Just leaving behind all that has brought me so much happiness..

 

He then turned towards the sleeping Pinkie Pie and smiled again. He then thought of her.

 

And Pinkie Pie...there's something about her. Something that makes her so special to me. What it is? Is it her happiness? Is it the fact that she's pink? No that's absurd!

 

The Doctor then thought something that worried him deeply...

 

Is it the fact.....that I'm attracted to her?

 

The Doctor's eyes widened. He couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe his thoughts...

 

"No no NO!!! This is crazy!!! This can't be happening to me!! Not again!" He yelled frantically to himself.

Pinkie Pie stirred from her sleep and half opened one eye. The Doctor was standing over her there seemed to be a slight blush on his cheeks... .

 

((OOC use your imagination on this one... too lazy to photomanip it LOL)))

 

 

 

 

 

"Is he looking at me funny?" She wondered... it was almost as if..... "Noooooo. Couldn't be!" She recognized him as the "John Smith" Doctor since he was wearing the longer green tie, rather than the black bow tie that Dissy wore. If they ever decided to remove their ties... there'd be no telling them apart.

 

"Oooooh I need a cupcake!" Pinkie groaned rolling over. Sugar could fix any situation. Then started to think about the current situation. She bounced up fully alert gazing at her surroundings as if she'd been give a sudden burst of caffine. Pinkie shook the Doctor by the shoulders as she fired off questions.

 

 

"Is everypony ok? Where are we heading? Where's Discord? Did Ricky and Dissy make it inside? Is the Tardis ok? Have we saved Derpy yet? and do you have a mane and tail comb handy and some hair rollers?... My mane is a MESS!"

The Doctor immediately turned around to find Ricky still slightly awake. He was a little spooked, worried that Ricky would question why he was yelling in panic. He then gave a small smile, relieved and quite happy by Ricky's sudden interest in his TARDIS.

 

"Well thanks! And well, it's an interesting story you see...." The Doctor happily began his explanation to answer Ricky's question in what would of been hours. He was able to explain the TARDIS's origin for at least ten minutes before something else startled him.

 

 

 

"Oooooh I need a cupcake!"

 

The Doctor almost yelled in surprise, as he immediately and nervously backed away. She surely seemed to have a burst of energy as she practically skyrocketed out of the bed.

 

 

 

"Is everypony ok? Where are we heading? Where's Discord? Did Ricky and Dissy make it inside? Is the Tardis ok? Have we saved Derpy yet? and do you have a mane and tail comb handy and some hair rollers?... My mane is a MESS!"

 

Though the Doctor was feeling more awkward and uncomfortable than usual around her, he managed to control himself.

 

"Pinkie Pie, first off, don't scared me like that!! Secondly, to answer all your questions...yes every...um, pony is okay." The Doctor gave a slight giggle at the odd terminology. "Ricky and Dissy have been inside for the past hour, so yes to that question! I could use Dissy for some important advice now..."

 

"And no worries the TARDIS is just fine! Discord I assume is still in the present time wreaking havoc. And we should be heading nearby ponyville in two minutes!"

 

The Doctor then took a good look at Pinkie Pie's messy mane. He laughed silently to himself. "And no worries, I think I have a good comb lying somewhere around here..."

"Looks like Everypony is safe,Doctor we have to Re-Calibrate the rooms,Okay?"He then pulls The Doctor to a corner of the TARDIS.He then looks at the Doctor and asks"You have a crush on Pinkie,Dont you?"

The Doctor is somewhat relieved to see Dissy awake. "Why of course Dissy, we need to do some...re-calibrating, that is correct! Well Pinkie Pie, I'll be right back! I believe we have one more minute till arrival so you best be prepared!"

 

The Doctor is then dragged to the corner of the TARDIS.

 

Just as the Doctor was going to explain to Dissy what was going on, he was then surprised by how quickly Dissy had made the conclusion.

 

 

 

"You have a crush on Pinkie,Dont you?"

 

 

 

He immediately put his hoof over Dissy's mouth.

 

 

 

"A crush? Don't be silly! Whatever made you come to that conclusion? Now quiet down!" The Doctor carefully whispered to Dissy.

"Heehee. Wait a sec.. You two look exactly alike! Just one of you though was discorded." She easily made the deduction.

The Doctor immediately noticed Ricky coming by. He saw a cocky smirk form on her face. He knew that look from anywhere. Being alive for over 900 years and observing human psychology and sociology....he knew what was coming.

 

Don't you dare...

 

 

 

"Doctor and pinkie sittin in a tree, K-i-s-s-i-n-g!"

 

Before Pinkie Pie even had a chance to hear, the Doctor quickly dragged him and Dissy to one of his private soundproof storage rooms.

 

"Don't mind us Pinkie. We're just doing some...chores throughout this here's TARDIS. Having an infinite amount of rooms, it certainly needs all the help it can use."

 

The Doctor then locked the doors and turned to face the two ponies. "Look, it's very hard and rather awkward for me to say....but maybe I have developed some feelings for her. But I need you two to promise me, not to let her know. It will emotionally mess up our mission to stop Discord! I just can't have that... I've already dealt with so much lately, so I do not need anymore drama!"

 

"And to answer your question Ricky, yes we're exactly alike, and the reason the universe has not exploded because of that is that we're not separated by time...we're separated by universes.."

Pinkie had been distracted  by a mirror on the other side of the Tardis. She was looking at her disheveled hair style and wondering how she'd ever get it back to normal. Therefore she didn't hear Dissy and Ricky teasing the Doctor.

 

She noticed the reflection of her friends in the mirror and watched in wonder as they all retreated to a separate room.

 

Hmmmm wonder what they are up to?  She thought to herself.

 

So she did the only respectable  thing that anypony could do... she eaves dropped! However, the walls of the Tardis didn't carry sound well so she only picked up bits and pieces of the conversation.

 

She heard the voice of one of the Doctors.

 

"Look, it's very hard and rather .... developed..... to promise ..., not to ... emotionally mess up .... Discord! I just ... have .... dealt with so much lately, so I ... need ... more drama!"

 

"And to answer your question Ricky,....  the reason the universe has.... separated ... by universes.."

 

Then She herd heard Ricky's reply....

 

"Okay. Seems ... i wont! But seriously. Where is the .... Dude. Seriously, i want to .... bet, ... you .... so!"

 

Pinkie scratched her head with her hoof.

 

"Sooooo. The Doctor wants everypony to promise not to hurt Discord's feelings, So that the universe won't get separated and wants more drama? and they are making bets on it???? So Wierd!"

"Look we can talk about all this later, right now we're about to arrive back at Equestria, or....what's left of it. So just prepare for the worst." The Doctor finished explaining to his two companions. He then noticed something peculiar in one of the drawers of the storage room's walls. He pulled it open to find what he hadn't seen in so long, his old scarf!

 

"I can't believe I still have this thing. Why have I stopped wearing it? Oh I need to wear this again!" The Doctor happily exclaimed as he wrapped it around his neck.

He then unlocked the door to find, to his surprise, Pinkie Pie standing right upfront. 

 

"Pinkie Pie? W-what are you doing here!?" 

 

In just seconds later, the TARDIS began to shake as it was now only a few moments away from landing at its destination.

Pinkie Pie collapsed inwards as the door opened, almost landing right into the arms of the Doctor on the other side. She wasn't quite sure which Doctor it was though, as he was now wearing a ridiculous long scarf and she couldn't' see which tie was underneath. 

 

"Who me? I was just..... polishing the back of this door... You missed a pink spot.... eh heh heh" She laughed nervously.  "Are we there yet?"

 

 

 

In just seconds later, the TARDIS began to shake as it was now only a few moments away from landing at its destination.

"NO! don't hurt Discords feelings or the universe will separate and there will be drama! Even though, i guess the Doctor wants drama... but you might lose your bet and that would be a disaster in and of itself" She told Ricky. she put her hoof to her mouth again. "I promise I really didn't eavesdrop!" She added with a nervous laugh.

 

 

 

"I hope the tardis likes me. I really do."

 

 

Pinkie still felt a strong connection the the Tardis, having been hooked to her and powered with her.

 

"Oh she does" Pinkie reassured Ricky. "Don't worry. we'll be home soon and we can get your herbal bath ready and you'll be back to normal!"

 

Then she turned back to the Doctor with the long scarf on.

 

"Are we there yet?"

 

"Are we there yet?"

Anyways, i used to have a computer, but it wasn't even close as fast as the tardis! She's suuuper fast, And really cool! As soon as we land, im gonna go out there, and give it a hug!" She then rambled about how awesome it is.

The Doctor was still quite surprised and nervous by Pinkie Pie's partial intrusion. He had no idea that she could be this nosy when it came to secrets.

"You were eavesdropping?" The Doctor managed to say, still surprised. He had a slight blush forming, but for only a brief moment.

Even though, i guess the Doctor wants drama... but you might lose your bet and that would be a disaster in and of itself" She told Ricky. she put her hoof to her mouth again. "I promise I really didn't eavesdrop!" She added with a nervous laugh.

 

 

"Y-you were eavesdropping!" The Doctor responded in shock. He couldn't believe it. Not only the fact she tried to overhear the conversation, but also how she was able to even hear anything from outside surprised the Doctor immensely. "Pinkie Pie, that wasn't what we were talking about. What we were talking about is between me, Dissy, and Ricky only..." The Doctor explained as vaguely as he could.

 

"Pinkie Pie, no offense...but please, mind you own business next time.."

 

 

 

"Why are you so riled up today pinkie?

 

I wonder the same thing.... The Doctor thought to himself.

 

The Doctor immediately trotted past Pinkie to check on the navigational console of the TARDIS. To his relief, judging by the coordinates and signals, the TARDIS has arrived at it's destination. The Doctor smiled with great satisfaction! According to the navigation console, they were back home, back in Equestria.

"Riled up... me? Of course not!" Pinkie said. They were planing a party with out ME? Oh this terrible! I know Discord isn't invited but what if I'M not invited either? Don't they know I'm the best party planner in all of Equestria? Pinkie started to panic this was the worst possible thing that could happen!

 

 

 

"Pinkie Pie, that wasn't what we were talking about. What we were talking about is between me, Dissy, and Ricky only..." The Doctor explained as vaguely as he could.   "Pinkie Pie, no offense...but please, mind you own business next time.."

 

Ur... Ok Doctor Pinkie said a little hesitantly as she watched him trot by. "So it's true... this party is none of my business and I'm not even invited! This is worse than having to face Discord!"

 

Pinkie hung her head and slunk quietly away to find the corner that Dissy used to hide in.

 

"What did I do to deserve this?"

The Doctor trotted back excitedly to tell his friends the great news. However, he stopped midway as he had noticed Pinkie Pie lying against one of the corners of TARDIS. She seemed very sad, like her feelings were hurt pretty bad. The Doctor trotted over to her to see what was wrong.

 

I hope I didn't hurt her feelings again... I really didn't and do not ever want to hurt her feelings again! The Doctor thought to himself, almost coming to the conclusion that her sadness was all his fault again.

 

He stopped right in front of her and gave a reassuring smile.

 

"Pinkie Pie...what's wrong? We're here now. We're home...you shouldn't feel sad."

 

He lifted her head up to face his. He was giving his best smile whilst trying his best to be like Pinkie Pie this time. He then thought of a strange but funny idea.

 

"Umm....do you want me to sing you a song?"

Pinkie gazed at Dr Whooves thoughtfully, meeting his blue eyes directly with her large twinkling ones.

The Doctor gazed back at Pinkie Pie's large and wondrous blue eyes. With his hoof still under her chin, he began to close his eyes and concentrate. He decided that just for this one moment, he'd use his Gallifreyan touch telepathy on her. 

 

 

 

"How could anypony sing at a time like this?' Pinkie thought to herself. "This is a total DISASTER! I wonder if it's because my cupcakes had dirt on them when we first met? Or maybe it's because he thought I was going to touch the ancient Pinkie Pie! Last tiMe this happened it was because all my friends were.... planning a surprise party... The Doctor opened his eyes and took another thoughtful glance at the pink pony. He was surprised to see what her worries truly were, and he felt bad because she still seemed apparently hurt by his regretful critical words. He really didn't want to see her like this, but he also didn't want let her know why he needed to keep this from her. 

 

"It's a happy song...a reassuring song I just thought of." He answered just as he began to sing.

Pinkie Pies jaw dropped as she took in every word he sang. My songs must seem so silly to him. She thought. I can't write songs like that!

 

She gazed at the Doctor... 

 

"That was...." She said, her usual cheery voice returning.  

 

" Amazing!" Pinkie Jumped up excitedly and threw her hooves around the Doctors neck, her hair bouncing back into it's usual curls as she bounced the Doctor up and down.

 

"You shouldn't feel humiliated... you have a great voice!" Pinkie said, then thoughtfully she added. "How'd you know I was worried about the party? Do you have a pinkie sense? Or I suppose for you it would be more of a .... tanny brown sense." Pinkie Smiled at him widely.

"That was...." She said, her usual cheery voice returning.     " Amazing!"

 

 

The sudden cheery outburst and compliment had surprised but made the Doctor feel much more happier around her. He was beginning to see that it was surprisingly easy for him to get along with Pinkie Pie. Perhaps it was because they had similar personalities but in a vastly different sort of spectrum.

 

He however, had only a split second to take in that compliment before....

 

 

 

Pinkie Jumped up excitedly and threw her hooves around the Doctors neck, her hair bouncing back into it's usual curls as she bounced the Doctor up and down.

 

 

The hug was what really caught the Doctor by surprise, and it caused his scarf to slip off, much to the Doctor's dismay. He was hardly worried about it at the moment though. Once again, he was blushing, but he tried his best to hide it. This is silly...she's a pony! I'm not naturally a pony. She's always been a pony...a very adorable...sweet...huggable....nice pon-...ah stop it feelings! The Doctor thought to himself humorously.

 

 

 

"You shouldn't feel humiliated... you have a great voice!" Pinkie said, then thoughtfully she added. "How'd you know I was worried about the party? Do you have a pinkie sense? Or I suppose for you it would be more of a .... tanny brown sense."

 

 

"Um, well thanks! I have never really sang that much in....well my life." The Doctor replied, thinking back on his past. "And I see you have listened carefully...well to answer that question, I'll be honest with you. I read your mind....just for this one time! I was concerned...so I wanted to see what was bothering you so much."

 

The Doctor then decided to gently break the hug, before he decided to do something that would be even ten times more embarassing than singing for her. He gave another reassuring smile before leading her to the navigation console control room to meet up with the rest of his friends.

"Well it seems we're finally here! It's been such a long ride! A long...and very interesting ride." The Doctor trailed off slightly. "But we managed to fix up and put the TARDIS back into great condition! Now we're back! Back in Equestria! To stop Discord and bring...well peace back to this land. We can do it!" 

 

"So now, allons-y! By the way, that means, 'let's go' in French."

"You read minds?" Pinkie gazed at the Doctor. "sometime know things when nopony else know them but reading minds...wow."

 

I'd better watch what I'm thinking from now on. Pinkie decided quietly in her mind. "Gee I need to use the mares room We haven't stopped for a leak this entire trip. There probably isn't even a toilet ON the Tardis.. Oops! Stop thinking Pinkie... STOP THINKING! How embarassing. Oooooh this is going to be so HAAAAARD...."

 

Out loud she asked "Do you read every thought we think or just some thoughts at certain times? and French? Is that some other language other than Equestrian? Wow you really HAVE traveled far" She said amazed.

 

"So, if we're here, we need to figure out how to find Discord and save Ditzy. Who know who else he may have captured. We should ask around town and see if anypony knows anything."

"You read minds?" Pinkie gazed at the Doctor. "sometime know things when nopony else know them but reading minds...wow."

 

 

 

"Do you read every thought we think or just some thoughts at certain times? and French? Is that some other language other than Equestrian? Wow you really HAVE traveled far"

 

The Doctor gave a simple laugh at Pinkie Pie's questioning and curiosity. "Yes I can read minds, it...comes with having a TARDIS and being a time...pony." The Doctor smiled at his own new terminology. "And I can only read your minds if I touch you...which I am not right now, so you don't need to be worried. Plus, I've traveled much further than from here. I travel a lot. It's what I do."

 

The Doctor then proceeded to open the TARDIS to view the area where they had landed. Thankfully, it was exactly where they had left in the first place, the Everfree Forest. The Doctor let out a major sigh of relief.
