Commander_PonyShep 349 July 12, 2013 Author Share July 12, 2013 (edited) WOW! That's just so wrong, I don't know where to begin. First of all if you saw the movie (which now I'm convinced you HAVEN'T), you would have known that Pinkie insinuates that there IS a human Twilight Sparkle around who has a dog named Spike somewhere. She just hasn't transferred to Canterlot High yet. Secondly, that comic was a joke! Nothing more! In the movie, the girls know that Twilight doesn't belong in the human world and she and Spike needed to go home, which they did without any sort of drama whatsoever. The comic was just a silly idea that wasn't meant to be taken seriously. Leave it at that and move on. Thirdly, the human counterparts are not inferior to their pony-selves. They ARE their pony selves, only as humans. And at any rate, do you think either set of friends would be mad at Twilight for anything she had to do in the movie? If your answer is still yes, them you might want to rewatch the show & the movie since you've obviously missed the whole point of both. Most importntly, like pjsforever pointed out, Equestria Girls is a separate cannon from Friendship is Magic. It won't affect season 4 at all. If you really have concerns about EqG replacing everypony, just ignore it and continue watching FiM like nothing ever happened. Seriously, if you want to create this much fuss about it, just ignore it! Honestly, complaining about EqG like what you've been doing is desperate, especially if you resort to what's essentially a weak, petty argument. With regard to Twilight's own human counterpart, I highly doubt the writers will ever confirm that Twilight did have a human counterpart, it's just that she was absent. And, even if they did, I doubt they'll do an episode about the other Twilight entering Canterlot High for the first time, and being weirded out by five girls who confuse her for someone that looks like her and even won a prom queen pageant. zerosonicdrive 27 July 12, 2013 Share July 12, 2013 to be totally honest i don't think we have to worry about this, having seen equestria girls on youtube i can honestly say that i don't think the writers where brining their A-game to the film like they do with the show. it felt more like they were doing it just because they had to and not because they wanted to. the voice acting was good but just like with the writers they weren't doing their best. i don't think that this will ruin the show because it's pretty much non cannon with the show it's self.
RockinRarity 1,605 July 12, 2013 Share July 12, 2013 OK, my last post in this thread was rude and harsh, and I apologize. So let me explain everything more kindly. I cannot fathom why, OP, you are arguing with us over and over again about your fears about a cartoon show potentially becoming something that you do not want. I cannot fathom why you would post the same thing over and over again, create different threads making the same points for your same fears. Do you expect us to fear with you? How does it help anything for you to post these things? So if I may ask politely, what are you trying to accomplish by making these topics? You are allowed to he fearful about season 4. But it is my opinion that you are getting worried over nothing. Or at least something so minor, so unimportant in life that it really is not worth your time and energy to argue about it with Internet strangers. I don't think that Equestria Girls accentuated your fears. You are accentuating your own fears. You are choosing to be fearful of the unknown. And I don't believe that is healthy. Since so much of life is unknown, there is so much to be fearful of. But if everyone decided to brood over everything unknown or uncertain, then everyone would just sit around all day being crippled in fear. Fear is crippling. But you have the choice to let it subside and accept that you do not know what is going to happen. Believing the worst-case-scenario for everything unknown is simply unrealistic, and there is absolutely no reason to do that to yourself. And even if the show called Friendship is Magic decided to no longer be about friendship... is that really that big of a deal? Is that really something worth getting to you so deeply and passionately? Aren't there other things that would be far more serious consequences if they went wrong? Just take life as it comes. Don't worry about tomorrow. Focus on today. That is all I will say. I am not here to argue or to insult. I don't intend on posting in this thread again. If this post gets completely overlooked, I will be sad, because then it shows that you do not intend on bettering yourself. Even though I may do things that are wrong sometimes, I can admit that I am wrong, and hope to be a better person. If you choose to ignore what I have to say and choose to keep fearing the unknown for something so insignificant as a TV show and refuse to listen to others when we insist that there is nothing to be worried about, then I am afraid that you are destined to live a sad, miserable life. It's your choice. And I am out. Follow my blog! ~The Mind of Sally - Experiences, Opinions, Musings~

I agree with you. OP, you need to chilax. Like everyone said, this movie is a spin off, it has nothing to do with the main storyline. It most likely won't even be referenced during season 4. The movie lacked some good plot, Hasbro most likely just wanted to make a quick penny out of this project. Although personally, i'd like to see more of the girls in spin offs but not in the canon. At the end of the day, please remember, Hasbro is a Toy Company, they only do these kind of things to sell their product. Rarity: Generous, Classy, and Sophisticated...
