Or are they in the castle now?" Applejack asked, pausing in her steps as she was halfway through the door and holding it open with her hoof. "Oh and uh, also, I still need ta pack" she whispered in a lower voice. "Y'all called me out here in such a hurry, I was half way through buckin' apples when Big Mac called me in!"

"I'm ready! One last question though...In which direction are we heading?" asked Wildcard. "Oh...and how long will our estimated journey be?"
The pegasus has already packed his saddlepacks with what he thought would be necessary for a few days. If the journey would last longer, he would need to improvise.

Nice to meet you guys, looks like we're pretty known around here now. THAT'S AWESOME!!   But we'd love some help to defeat this thing, all the help we can get.

 

 

Twilight was stunned by the performance shown off right in front of her, trying to find words. I-- uh... ...Well, I obviously see you're very good at it.. Heh... Well, anyway, if you have any questions, just ask me.

 

She shook it off, preparing for another speech. Okay, everypony. We should be heading out. We can't wait around here any longer, the Princess needs her space, and we need to stop this... This thing! Whatever it is. Twilight took one last look to every pony that joined her on the journey.

 

Are we ready to head out? If so, the first thing we should do is get our Elements of Harmony.

Twilight had a nervous look on her face. Er... Well, I kind of forgot where the elements were... I... may have lost them...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

.... I'm just kidding! I actually got them in my bag.  Twilight takes out the elements and her big crown and uses her magic to levitate them to the ponies.

 

Necklace, necklace, necklace, necklace, necklace... And.... Big crown thingy!

 

 Wildcard, where we're going to go first is The Crystal Empire to meet up with Princess Cadence. I figure it'd be a good first stop to meet with her and my brother, Shining Armor.

Taking her necklace in her hoof and placing it around her neck, Applejack took a step out of the door, allowing one of the double doors to close as a guard came to hold the other. "Don't joke like that sugarcube! Y'all had me worried for a second there!" She laughed, before putting on a serious face. "So uh...the train's not going to leave without us, right? Caus'...I really need to go and grab some things if we're going out fer a while. And uh, i'd rather not leave without your say so Twi..."

"What if we split up the group into the ones who need to go to Ponyville and the ones who meet Cadance in the Crystal Kingdom?" Wildcard asked "Afterwards we could meet in Canterlot again. A train ride to either of these cities takes a while and going to both directions would cost us some time for sure."

"Ah don't rightly know, all ah know is that the Queen of the Changelings was able to defeat the Princess, so rightly it could be anything" She lowered her head and took a sharp corner, almost knocking over a guard as she ran past. "Ah don't particularly want to know either, how 'bout you?"

I just know I'm ready to take on WHATEVER it is. We're awesome, we've saved Equestria tons of times before, I'm pretty sure we can save it from this danger too. I just hope it's nothing TOO serious that even The Elements of Harmony can't take on. So I don't want to know either. Rainbow Dash was secretly worried about the situation. The Queen of the Changelings was beaten by Princess Cadance and Shining Armor not by The Elements, because of her changeling army. If this thing was as dangerous or even worse than the Queen, there's no telling if The Elements would be powerful enough.

"Boy RD, I sure don't know where y'all keep gettin' that confidence from, but ya might want to start sharin' with the rest of us. All ah know for sure is that this thing is serious, and the Princess's seemed mighty desperate, even Twilight sounded worried." She shook her head, trying to shake out the thoughts of what they may face so she would have a clearer mind for the journey.

 

Sweet Apple Acres was practically just over the next hill - they had covered a lot of ground in a short time, it surprised even Applejack to see how far they had gone. "Ah hope Big Mac has packed mah things...this evil wont wait, and neither will that train!"

Quick Shot pondered the question for a moment while he put away the folding crossbow. "I'll come with you to the crystal empire, Miss Sparkle." He shrugged. "It's been a while since I've seen the ol' captain." He stretched out his hooves. "And the reason why Chrysalis defeated the princess was because that insect had been feeding off of Capt. Armor's love." He cursed under his breath, but not loud enough for the others to hear coherently. "So... are we going, Miss Sparkle?"

"Ooooooo what's that.." Pinkie asked as she pointed to the thing on wildcards back. "What's it do, and where do I get one." She gave twilight the irresistible puppy eyes. "Pweeeeeease." She sadly, she then sat down on the ground, and ate a cupcake. "MMM cupcakes." Pinkie said joyfully.

Okay, Quick Shot, looks like the three of us will go to the Crystal Empire. And, please, call me Twilight. Twilight says with a smile.

 

Err, Pinkie, I don't think now is the time to find out what Wildcard has. Looking at Pinkie's puppy face. But I must know, will you be going to the Crystal Empire, or do you still have things you need to get in Ponyville?

 

She then turns to Rarity and Fluttershy. I think you guys will need to stay by the train in Canterlot to be sure the train doesn't leave without us. I'm sure you guys will be okay with that, it looks like you got all the supplies you need.

"Okay I'll just get something else like one of those metal sticky thing that you throw." Pinkie smile and walked off trotting over to the destination of the thing she was talking about. She picks it up and shows everyone what it is. "I've been wandering what this thing is." She picks it up and pokes it with her hoof.

Wildcard looks at Pinkie Pie who is playing with Quick Shot's equiptment and tilts his head a bit. Ticking off the mercenary in the group is certainly not the best way to start their adventure.

"WIll you please put that thing away?" he asked with a friendly but assertive voice before adding "I can't tell you what exactly that is, but I am quite sure that it can be dangerous and therefore only belongs into the hooves of somepony who knows how to use it."

"Oy! Give that back!" Quick Shot snatched it away. Luckily, she hadn't touched the detonation button. He looked over it. It was still in good condition, even if it did have hoofprints on it. "This, Miss Pie, is a highly explosive device that is used for traps. Please don't mess with it. I don't want one of the Elements of Harmony- especially the Element of Laughter- being blown to bits because she was nosing around." He put it back in his pack before clapping his hooves together. "Alright, Miss... Twilight. I'm ready when you are."

Okay then, it's settled! Alright, anyone who is following me to the Crystal Empire, let's go! Twilight, Quick Shot, Wildcard and Pinkie walk out of the castle and precede to head to the Crystal Empire. Twilight was having her doubts about this adventure but with two more ponies added in, she feels it will be more of a success.

 

She turns to Quick Shot once again. So, Quick Shot... You mentioned you met my brother before. Was it on your... Official business or something? Or, were you there during the wedding?

Quick Shot smiled. "Actually, Mi- Twilight, Shining Armor is my employer- or the person who gives me my paycheck, anyways. He hires me to go along with the party to hunt demons and such." He shuddered. "And demons give me the willies." He shrugged. "I was there at the wedding, too. You know, extra protection. Bloody insects. Still, the queen got what she deserved. And I made myself a mortal enemy, especially since I impaled her best captain through the eye." He shrugged again. "You make enemies and friends. But I still like to check my back every now and again... make sure none of them are following behind me, y'know?" He let out a harsh, barking laugh, then turned back up front. "But, yeah. Your brother was the one that hired me. Thought that a sniper might come in handy on some missions, eh? Needless to say, he was quite right. But I don't think he'll mention that he recognizes me in front of you."

Wildcard listened to the converstion as his thoughts began to drift away.
He hoped instantly that there would not be a battle and shuddered at the thought of being impaled. He was a hothead sometimes and had been in a few brawls but he was no warrior. He would rather leave this adventure alive than to die for his country. Altough, if this was the end of the world, it came at a damn fine time. The pegasus thought, that it wouldn't matter if he survives or dies, he wouldn't have to care about money or fame anymore either way.

Wildcards thoughts immediately snapped back to reality as he heard Twilights voice. He looked confused for a moment, then he answered.

"Yeah...everythings fine, I was just thinking" he paused for a second "It's just...I am really not used to adventures and I not knowing what lays ahead made me reflect upon my life a bit. Things weren't great lately and this here is a chance to get away from it...never the less I am scared when I try to figure out what will happen. I am no element of harmony, mercenary, whatever and I haven't saved the world yet. I wonder if I am ready..."

(I was waiting for Pink Mist to post before I posted again, but I think it's been long enough now) 

 

"Big Mac!" Applejack yelled across the fields in hopes that he would hear her as she ran towards the barn. "Mac! Big Mac where are ya?!" She kicked open the barn doors, panting for breath. "Mac...ya in here?" There was no reply. 

"Granny! Granny Smith are y'all in the house?" she shouted again, running towards the house. 

 

Upon reaching the fence, she leapt over instead of running around to the gate, where she continued to gallop into the house, sliding to a stop half-way through the kitchen.

"Heavens! What's gotten into you?!" Granny Smith called out in surprise, while Big Macintosh simply stood there with his mouth agape. 

"Equestria...danger...Twi...light...bags! Now!" She stammered in between gasps of air. 

"Eeyup" 

"Darnit Big Mac!" She stood up, swallowing down what air she managed "I need mah bags! Equestria's in danger and ah need to meet Twilight!"
