As stone kicked discord in the face, he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. "A Shadow clone? When did h-" sole was cut short by a kick to the face. "Never take your eyes off of your opponent! Remember when I was in the tree?" He asked, as he formed annother water dragon, aiming this one at stone.

 

Luna smiled "actually, while it is very similar to walking on a wall or tree, there is a difference." She said calmly "instead of just focusing chakara in your feet, you need to balance it out, make sure your balance and chakara flow is perfectly in sync." She said "and yes, balance has a lot to do with it."

 

Cadence smiled and forned a few handsighns "need to work on your aim!" She said, but suddenly stopped and melted into the ground. She was using genjutsu.

Stone eyes popped open "Crap" she said before making the tiger handsign and then touching the rock ground with her hands "EARTH RELEASE, Rock armor" her whole body then became rigid and flat, as well as transparent. Then when the dragon hit her, she could take the blunt of the dragon. But then she was trapped in water 'damn it stone..." She threw a kunine that had wire around it and lodged it into a tree, then used it to hoist herself out. Once she was out. She kneeled on the ground and coughed "that....was close." She said

Nightfury was sent a few feet to the left, due to the explosion. He then stood up and did a few hand signals. "Fire style: Fire breath Jutus." He said, before fireing a massive beam of fire at Lin.

 

Tempest smirked. He was starting to have confidence in his squad, and knew they would become chunin soon.

Lin did the same hand signs and copied Nightfury doing the same jutsu at him while her clone goes behind him. "Need to pay attention Night" Lin thought as her clone took a kunai and brought it to his neck causing Lin to stop using the jutsu and move out of the way.

Crimson smirked as he watched his senseis show of skill, not attempting to help niether sole nor stone, "very interesting moves old man...but let's see how you like this!" Said crimson before making a large bone spike erupt from the ground, aimed at discords head, unlike most genin, crimson had no issues with killing his sensei, as long as it meant the missions success, he would do it.

Nightfury smirked. "You're good." He said, as he flipped Lin over him, and pinned her to the ground with his body. "I expected nothing less from an Uchiha." The young man then noticed the position they were in and stood up. Nightfury then extended a hand to help Lin up.

 

While the others practiced with focusing their chakra, Tempest decided to practice his reiki jutsu. He stored a small amount of chakra outside of his body, and practiced looking at the auras' of the creatures living in the forest.

"Your pretty good your self" Lin said as the clone disappeared and got up with the help of Nightfury. "Though next time don't pint to the ground with your body" Lin joked as she turned to see Deranged still sparring with Cadence. "You think he could keep up with her" Lin asked Night

Nightfury blushed slightly at what Lin had said. He then cleared his thoughts and glanced at Deranged and Cadence. "I honestly don't know." He said. "I have no doubt in my mind that he couldn't, though." The young man then shrugged.

 

Dark noticed Tempest and was s.ightly curious. She decided to ask him about what he was doing later, before falling into the water from lack of concentration. She got out and tried again.

Gabriel laughed "Ha you should have concentrated harder Dark," Gabriel laughed. He then fell into the water. He nervously laughed. "You know I was kidding...right?" he asked Dark. Gabriel shook it off and jumped back on his feet and tried again. "So, what do you think the next challenge is?" Gabriel asked Dark.

Discord dodged the bone spike and sighed "being a little overly dramatic, aren't we?" He said jokingly, as he darted up to him and kicked him into the ground. Sole quicky stood up and threw a windmill shurikin at discord "ha! Its not that easy to kill me!" He said as he dodged, but was quickly knocked into the ground from behind. Discord turned to see that the shurikin was sole in disguise. "Not bad uchiha!" He said cheerfully, as he used a fireball jutsu on sole. Sole narrowly dodged, cursing as it singed him.

 

As deranged moved back, his feet sank into the ground until only his head was above ground. "Its too late kid, your trapped in my genjutsu now." Cadence said calmly.

"Did I" Deranged said as he disappeared into smoke. "That was a clone" Deranged said as he used Shadow possession again and this time caught Cadence. "You didn't take note that I use shadow clones and mixed them about so I wouldnt be the one who got caught while you grabbed the fake I used my shadow possession jutsu since you went into shade which is useful to me so i can amplify the possession" Deranged explained

"That seemed to easy..." Lin thought as she knew Cadence wouldn't be that foolish to go into the shade...unless "Deranged don't think you won now....she's got something up her sleeve" Lin thought. "What do you think Night...she wouldn't be captured that easily" Lin asked

Stone made a tiger handsign then grabbed a rock and easily formed it into a staff. Once she was done she got up and ran towards discord holding it behind her. She then made another handsign 'tiger' as she ran using one hand to hold the staff, and the other to make the sign. She then did a flip touching the ground with one hand. She then was in mid air and hit discord in the back of his head, sending him into the ground. Once he feel into the ground, he sunk in feet first, once he was neck deep in the now soft earth. She touched the ground, and the earth hardened around discord trapping him in the ground.

Gabriel sighed as he stood on the water. He was growing tired of the walking on water technique. "C'mon sensei, when is the next challenge?" Gabriel asked impatiently. Gabriel was still on the water while talking. "Is anyone else growing tired of this training method?" Gabriel asked still on the water.

Luna smiled "alright... if you're sure you've mastered this techniqe, you may practice your jutsu, or spar if you wish." She suggested.

 

Cadence sighed and jumped back "I didn't wanna do this...but I need to show ya a taste of what your up against." She said, before throwing two kunai with wire tied to them, but she threw them past him. The wires stabbed into trees behind him and the wire wrapped around him and pulled him into the light, holding him in place. "Temporary paralysis jutsu!" She said, making him freez. "Now... I win." She said cheerfully.

"The...hell" Deranged said as he tried to move but couldn't. "I'm glad I wont have to fight her ever" Deranged thought. "Okay so one thing...can you please let me move again" Deranged said being glad he's able to talk. "Lin you know how to stop this" Deranged asked Lin.

"No I don't Deranged...but you did pretty good going against Sensei Cadence" Lin said. "Though you were right if you did use the other clone it might had made a bit of a difference but you almost got here when you used that shadow sewing technique...but you need to do it when your opponent least expects it" Lin said seeing the flaw

Stone gasped "s-sole?" She questioned, she saw sole in the ground where discord was. The genjutsu tricked her into pulling him out. She dropped her staff and used her Chakara to loosen the earth and she pulled him up. "Oh my god sole I'm so sorry I though I had gotten discord." She said.

Discord smiled as his genjutsu did its job "no problem... now we just need to attack discord and get those bells!" He said, as he used his genjutsu to make sole appear as discord to stone. Sole looled confused, discord's genjutsu wasn't affecting him due to his sharingan still being active "what are ya doing stone?" He asked "get him!"

 

Cadence smiled and released the jutsu "you did come close to capturing me... but you've got a long way to go before you can beat me." She said cheerfully, before turning to lin "and good deduction... he needs to work on his aim, that would help him." She said calmly.

"My aim is fine...I just messed up that one time alright" Deranged said as he cracked his neck. "Well I almost used all my chakra on a move that I shouldnt use for sparring" Deranged said as he looked at Lin. "You were right I should have used the shadow clone it would have helped"

Lin nodded her head at what Cadence said. "Problem is that he's to stubborn to notice" Lin said. "Anyways I think that's enough training for today...besides I think it's time to get some rest for the exams tomorrow don't you think so" Lin asked looking at Deranged, Cadence, and Nightfury

Cadence smiled and nodded "yes, that might be for the best." She said cheerfully "you've all done a great job today, I expect nothing less from all of you during the chunin exams tomorrow." She said with a bright smile "now, off to bed with all of you. I want you all at peak stengh for the exams... you'll need it."

"Yes sensei...good bye everyone I'm going to go home now" Deranged said as he turned and remembered. "I forgot...I need to head back to the Sound village to be home" Deranged sighed. "I'll just rent a room at a hotel I don't want to keep going back and forth all the time" Deranged said.

"Well I myself am heading home cause I'm tired" Lin said as she walked off to her home. "Today was a good day but tomorrow...tomorrow is going to be the most important day of my life...and any other ninja taking this exam" Lin said  to her self as she arrived home.
