So, I've been sketching a few ponies. Here's one of Derpy at her job. And yes, I know the shades are a bit off. It's a colored pencil sketch, and well, I don't have hundreds of colored pencils to choose from. More like 20.

Shorten the legs and it becomes perfect,  Besides that this is a pretty cool drawing.
Hopefully you are gonna be putting up somemore pictures out soon.

Hey, thanks! I'm hoping to put out some more pencil sketches, yes. It all depends on my schedule, though. It's been busy.

Things you could work on: The chest is too puffed out, the top of the front leg is too skinny, the wing is awkward, and the back leg looks weird and the whole body seems bloated.

 

Other than that you did a fantastic job with everything else. The mane, tail, face, and the eyes all look good. Keep practicing and I'm sure you'll be great

A pretty good sketch overall.

 

For the legs, I recommend shortening them half so they remain even towards the body.

Some critiques:

• Closed wings are usually a slightly deformed oval
• Head should be slightly larger
• Legs have minor deformities
• Tail should be slightly shorter and 'poofier'
• Legs should be slightly shorter compared to body size 

Other than that, I love how perfect the whole head is.
