*Sigh* "Yeah it may be. So I guess I can head back to the shop tomorrow. Do you think you could watch Lightning tomorrow, while I am at work? It would really help me if you did." Charcoal says while wrapping Thunder in her wings. "I've been away from work for long enough as it is."

"Goodnight Thunder." Putting her glasses on the nightstand Charcoal lays her head down and goes to sleep. Waking up early the next morning she gets out of bed, careful not to wake Thunder and gets ready to head down to the blacksmith. Once done she leaves a list of what to do to take care of Lightening for Thunder... just in case. After walking down to the shop she works her shift for the day and heads back to the apartment.

He quickly looked around the room. His saddlebag was in the corner, it had all his operating equipment. If necessary, he could use his scalpel as a last resort weapon. Rock then looked at a nearby wardrobe.

Thunder takes care of the list Charcoal set up for him. "Aww dammit, that's like a whole days of work." But non the less he did all the work that was described on the list.

After he finished it he sat down on the couch. Waiting for Charcoal to come home after her work.

After work had ended Charcoal walked back to the apartment and went inside. Upon entering she immediately is greeted by Thunder sitting on the couch by himself. "Hey Thunder. How was your day today, have any trouble taking care of Lightning while I was gone?"

"If you hurt even one little hair on him I swear I will bring out my sword and do worse to you than I did to those bandits a few months back. Got it?"

"You're probably right. I haven't even touched that sword since I last used it at the bandit camp. So, tomorrow I will go to work and we will see just how well you know how to take care of a foal. And if we need to pay you, we will. With both of us working we should have enough."

"Well," He looks at lightning. "I was watching my last relative die in my arms after an attack on our home. We were having a good life, he was running a business and I was being a technical engineer." He looks back a Charcoal. "I didn't know what to do when my friend brother was dying, so I thought 'why not see my old friends?'" He was crying on the inside and yet held a poker face while telling the story.

When Thunder arrived at his work he was given a new weapon. It had two hoofgrips and a large drum magazine. "It looks nice, what's it for? mhmh mh mhmhmh mhmh. Okay i'll do it." Thunder walked out of the door. When he arrived at the location he was supposed to be he started shooting the guards.

More guards appeared and Thunder killed them all.

Once inside, he was supposed to kill the pone he came for. He aimed for his head. And... *Click* The gun was empty.

 

The pony took a knife and attacked Thunder. He disarmed the pony and stabbed him with his own knife.

"Yeah, we were close." he says. "We would help each other out in anyway we can." He looks at the lil colt. "He loved children. He would tell them about his job, how he likes it, and sometimes show off." He smirks then laughs. "The things he would say..... Want to know how he died?" He asks Charcoal as if wanting to get it off his chest.
