Fire Horn sighed, "Fine, come with us if you want, but just know that i don't like this, at all." Fire Horn went away to equip the new armor he had found.

 

"Why can't they just listen to me, i don't want anypony to die, but i can't stand the guilt of condemning ponykind." Fire Horn started quietly crying in the other room."

Zeta decided to walk back into the armory, just in time to see Fire Horn separate from Missy and Starlight. He was wondering what was all the commotion about and came up behind one of them. Even though the loud clanking of his huge armor would easily give away where he was at, he wasn't trying to scare anyone.

"What were you guys talking about in there? All I heard was some argument of somepony not being able to go on this trip, which is a little suspicious."

"We just had a little argument, we're coming with you on your mission, though Fire Horn doesn't really approve." Missy said.

"Yeah, but i see his point, Dad's only trying to keep me safe, i get that, but i'm grown up now." Starburst said.

"Don't worry, we'll all keep you safe." Fire Horn said, equipped with medium armor and two katanas on his back.

Stephan smiled and made a thumbs-up motion with his hoof. "You're a quick learner, Grand. Very good." Stephan exclaimed. "Now, put your hooves to the middle and try detatching the rods from each other. Once you do, you'll have two separate electric rods, letting you dual wield." Stephan demonstrated by lightly pulling the rods away from each other and taking a few swings into thin air.

josh realised he would need a new katana so he got up and walked to the armoury. upon arriving he examined all weapons within it and quickly noticed the two katana had been taken. to replace this he got a dagger and a lightweight scimitar. josh went back to the training room amd started practicing with the previously given shurieken and throwing knives

Steel watched as Josh left and came back "can someone just take me to the leader of the group" he almost yelled to get the attention of everypony in the room, one if them had to take him to see firehorn or Starburst or he would make them. He has no problem liberating information out of ponies

"You don't have to worry about Starburst dying anytime soon, you two." Zeta replied and added in a smile. "If there's one thing I cant do, it's let down everypony in the group. So i'll make sure that you're all protected when heading to the land of zebras. It's my promise to you, and if I fail it then you can do whatever you want to me."

"That would be me, Fire Horn." Fire Horn said. "And who are you supposed to be? Why are you here?" Fire Horn approached the new arrival and looked him up and down.

Starburst picked up a couple of energy crystals, meant for enhancing magic.

(Essentially, Starburst will be support. Giving people buffs and stuff. Like in an RPG.)

Stephan walked up to Steel and gave a slight "heh." "And here I thought we were all equals." He shook Steel's hoof. "I'm Stephan. Welcome to the group, man."

Stephan walked up to Zeta. "Zeta, you seem to be forgetting about me." He noted. "Me and  you, we're like the team's line of ultimate defense."

Stephan smirked and shrugged. "I guess you're right. If it wasn't for Josh, I would've probably been burnt to a crisp at Dragonshy. I don't feel as alone as I did a year after the out." Stephan sort of lowered his head. He remembered all of the adventures he had with Light years ago. He wondered if he was still out there.

Grand swung around the rods, still very far away from her. well, this should do then" she said, sticking them back together. she found a holster to hold it in, so she attached it to her and stuck the weapon in the holster. "I think I shouldnt be as useless as before" she said, laughing lightly

josh threw the shuriken at dummies hitting most of them. then grabbing the scimitar he slashed it at the dummies. josh seathed the weapons went back to the armory and replaced the scimitar with a scyth with a retractable blade. walking back in he went up behind grand and tried to get her attention. "you dont know what time we leave do you?"

Stephan walked to Grand. "Don't say that, Grand. You were never useless." He said with a smile "You helped save me from being possessed by a freaking sword forever." He said laughing. He felt a bit ridiculous saying that, though. Being possessed by a sword? That's kind of weak.

"OK, everyone, listen up. We leave at midnight tonight, so if you've got anything that needs doing, do it now, because once we leave, we're not coming back for a while." Fire Horn yelled. "I'm the leader, by the way, what is it that you want? Who are you anyway?"

josh stared at firehorn when the leaving time was called out and then back to grand "nevermind i guess i found out" he turned amd walked to a lone corner of the room where started to take stock of all the herbs he had in his bag so he could distract himslef but it was clear from the look in his eyes it wasnt working

Grand looked at the armor on the wall. "you dont suppose theres anything here to umm, secure my leg a bit better do you? I assume the axcursion will require all four hooves firmly attached" she said, laughing a bit. She looked at the armor and sighed. "I havent a clue what to use. perhaps this?" she says, lifitng a light suit off the wall.

"If you can wear it and it protects your leg, I don't see why not." Stephan said to Grand. He walked to the armor section and got a suit of leather armor. It felt very light and protective, especially with the bracers and such. He didn't take a helmet, though. He was just reckless like that. "Well, I'm ready to head out whenever you guys are!" Stephan exclaimed.

"I would like for you to tell me what's going on Josh suggested I help you guys out an I can't if I have clue what you are doing so can you explain so that I may decide if I will help you" steel said the he took a Shurikin and threw it hitting the dummy right in what would be the eye he threw two more, on for the other eye and one for the neck, befor walking over and pulling them out

Grand strapped the armour on. It was light rnough to move around comfortably, but durable enough to avoid massive damage. She grabbed a small dagger as well, in case of emergency. "I don't think theres anything else. I am ready when you are" she said, taking a deep breath.

In just a bit of making sure everything was tightly, the monster Zeta slowly trotted toward where Stephan and Grand were, checking both of them out at what they had. Of course, he would take a peek at her once in a while when Stephan wasn't looking.

"Nothing else then? Then it seems like we're all good to go more or less. Just a question though, when were we heading out again? I forget since my mind was fascinated by this big giant armor."

Upon saying that, he took a hoof and bashed against it a few times, letting out a laugh afterward.

Fire Horn took in a deep breath, and out again.

"Alright everypony, we leave for Bruchellia in 10 minutes, make sure you have everything you need for survival, we won't be back here for a while so we need all we can get." Fire Horn said.

Princess Luna entered. "Are you all ready for the journey?"

"well I guess I could go with you without knowing what I'm getting onto in fact thy sounds like fun" steel said while ideally polishing his dagger then putting lit back in it's sheth befor pulling out the other and polishing it after he was satisfied with the shine he put it up and looked up at the ponies.
