Grand nodded and smiled. "Yes, anything that can get me back on all hooves" she said, taking the bandage off to show her. "I'm sure being a little chilly for awhile will be worth walking soon" she said, hoping it wouldn't hurt too much. "Please be gentle, if you can" she said, closing her eyes and gritting her teeth

"Thank you, Grand, i can barely move my wing, but thank you." Missy said, before going to sit with Starburst and Fire Horn.
"Are you two alright, i hope neither of you were incredibly hurt."

"No, just a few arrows hit me." Fire Horn said. "Nothing major."

"I'm fine, thank you." Starburst said.

"No problem, i couldn't let you get hurt, could i?" Missy said, pulling both of them in for a hug.

Stephan watched Missy just walk off and he sat in the corner by himself. The scarlet stallion pondered the thoughts of the past, trying to make sense of things. He couldn't remember much outside of the past decade. He couldn't remember any of his past experiences. How could a possessed sword give him partial amnesia?

[Snowy Storm 57]

Icy looked at it.

"If you trust me not to kill you then here we go" Icy left out a few things. One If she used to much Ice to seal of the would or made it too cold it could only worsen the injure, two If she used too much water and allowed too much of it into the bloodstream she could drown Grand once her blood flow reached her heart and lungs.

She focused and a Ice shard appeared in front of her hoof. She slowly placed over Grand's leg, as soon as the Ice touch the skin it began to expand and cover the wound. Icy opened a bottle of water and allowed the water to enter though the ice.

"Don't worry you won't feel any pain, Just cold... Very cold" She began. The Ice glowed a light blue as the water worked with Grand's blood and skin to close and heal the wound.she kept at it to the point where she thought it was good.

She withdrew the Ice and water. The wound was now just a patch of red, raw, new skin. She also made sure to repair any blood veins that were affected as well.

"That should do it. Now your body fix that on it's own" -Now I wait to see If I don't Drown you- She thought. This was how she killed a pony from her old group. She used to much water and drowned him in his own blood. -please don't make me carry your death too- She thought hopefully

Grand clenched her teeth through the procedure, but sighed with relief when it was over. 'Thanks Icy, hopefully ill be up ony my hooves in no time" she said, slowly standing up. Her leg still hurt but it was much easier to walk on. "Thats a very creative way to use your magic, however did you figure out how to do that?" she asked, examining where the puncture wound used to be

"I learned it from my mother" she said a little quietly.

"She was a wiz at doing all that healing stuff and showed me a little of it. She controlled snow, and I controlled ice. For a time. She protected me by freezing any trotter who found us" Icy seemed to be lost in her thoughts. her eyes seems a little hollowed before coming back.

"We should just avoid that topic"

Grand nodded. "no need to tread to things like that. Believe me, things like that were almost the death of me" she said, laughing a little at herself. "now I have one prosthetic leg and one injured. What a sad sight that is" she said before hobbling over to where she had seen some books. She grabbed one labeled "Herbs of the savannah". This would come in handy

Stephan began to get impatient. He always becomes impatient when he's confined to one place for a long period of time. His hooves began to fidget. He ran to the deck of the boat and began running around the exterior like it was some sort of field track. It all made a huge ruckus.

"Stephan, if you keep that up the whole boat is going to explode, what's wrong?" Fire Horn shouted.

"That's some strange magic, i've never seen anything like it, at least not in the books i had in Ponyville." Missy said, in awe at what she just saw. "Is it a natural ability passed down through genes, is it a spell?"

Grand huffed. `what in equestria are you doing? I'm trying to learn all this nonsense" she said. She was clearly flustered. none of this made any sense to her. What were these plants? no matter, she had vowed to learn it, and she wouldnt give up. "Perhaps you should look around the boat, I'm sure theres something here for you to occupy yourself with" she said, more angry at the book than anything

Stephan screeched to a stop. He looked worried. "I'm sorry, Fire. I just tend to get fidgety and impatient when I'm confined to one spot for too long." He looked out into the ocean. "Especially when we're out in the middle of nowhere."

He then turned to Missy and scratched his head. "Good question. I can't really answer that, because I don't know. One of my main goals ever since I came to Equestria is to find the source of my speed." Stephan sat down and tried to calm himself down. "But, of course, with the outbreak going on, that's been hard."

"I've never asked this because... well, i was afraid of the answer and how you'd react." Fire Horn said. "But.. do you have any family anywhere? I know about your brother, i met him, but, what about your parents. I know my parents weren't in Canterlot when the outbreak started, what about you?"

Stephan turned a little white. "I'm sorry, Fire, but my family life is a little... well, private." Stephan said. He didn't want to tell anypony on the boat about his past life. It was too personal and he left it behind years ago. "But, I can tell you about one person who I saw as my family; my best friend, Light Streak. Me and him would always go on adventures together. I haven't really seen him since the outbreak, though. But, he's smart. I'm sure he's found a safe place." He said, trying to reassure himself.

(OOC: I plan on introducing Light later on, if that's okay.)

"Well, i didn't really have friends as a child, i grew up in Canterlot, so i was raised as nobility, but there was always something missing, my life didn't seem worth anything, meeting other rich families, day in, day out. So i moved to Ponyville, they accepted me in a heartbeat." Fire Horn explained. "I will tell you about one story though..."

 

-Flashback-

 

It was the night of the Grand Galloping Gala, the year after Twilight Sparkle was crowned princess, the Gala always appealed to me somehow, i don't know why, it was the most boring party on the planet, but i enjoyed it, particularly that year, because that was the year, i met my future wife.

"Terribly sorry." I said as i accidentally nudged someone while walking to one of the windows. Suddenly, the main door opened and the party soon began, Pinkie Pie entered. I wouldn't be interested by such celebrities, but hiding behind Twilight Sparkle was...

"I don't like this Twilight, i don't belong in Canterlot." Missy said. This mare interested me, so i decided to speak to her later that evening, and by speak, i mean knock her over and ruin her dress.

"Oh dear, i'm so sorry, miss, i wasn't watching where i was going and..." She got up, and she looked beautiful, i was left speechless.
"Oh... no problem, sir." Missy said. We went our seperate ways and that was that, i didn't see her again until i saw her one time in Ponyville...

 

"Sorry, i got absorbed in my story, you probably don't even want to hear it anyway." Fire Horn said.
 

(Just to let you know, Fire Horn was telling the story normally, i was telling it through a flashback.)

Stephan smiled big. "Aww. That's so sweet, you two." Stephan said. "Me and Light never really went to the Grand Galloping Gala. We weren't really interested in celebrations like that. Not unless it was one of Pinkie Pies parties. Those were the best." Stephan tried to remember the parties him and Light went to, but due to his partial amnesia, it couldn't quite come into his mind. "But, I'm interested. Please go on."

"Well, i met her in Ponyville, she was at the quill shop with Twilight, but she was sent away to get other things, you see, i owned a small shop that sold various magical items, i'm a unicorn so i was able to easily procure them..."

 

-Flashback-

 

Now, this is going to make me seem very klutzy, but, well, i was.

I heard someone entering my shop, i was working on a sort-of experiment, so i was very focused.

"Hello?!" She shouted, when she didn't see me. I was just coming down the stairs and i had a lot levitated, so naturally, i fell down them.

She ran over to me, "Oh my goodness, are you alright, wait a minute, i know you." She said, a surprised look on her face, turning into embarassment, either that, or even at that time she was in love with me or something, i don't know. She ran out of the shop looking really shy. She must have run into Twilight or something, i think the conversation went like this.

"Why didn't you get what i asked you to? Is the shop closed? It's not even noon." Twilight said.
"No, i just... can't... um..." Missy whispered. Twilight looked into the shop, then back at her, then back to the shop, then back at Missy. She noticed that Missy was blushing a little. So she pushed Missy in.

"Hello, i'm here to pick up some supplies from you, and she was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with her next week." Twilight said to me.

"Um..." I said, i had no idea how to respond. "Uh.. sure, next week it is."

"Good, it's a date." Twilight said. "Now about those supplies."

 

 

"I don't want to bore you any more than i have to, if you want to hear about what happened at dinner, then you can listen if you wish." Fire Horn said. Missy walked over too.

'What one earth does this stuff mean?!?" Grand yelled out exasperated. "I am taking a break" she proclaimed, slamming the book closed. she huffed and stomped lightly over to the edge where she just stared at the ocean and grumbled to herself."stupid herbs, how am i supposed to know what they do"

Stephan's eyes went large. "I think I've met Twilight. I can't really remember. Although, one pony I remember quite well is Rainbow Dash. We were close friends and adventure partners. We were always at each other's throats about who was faster, though." Stephan remembered the good times. "Actually, when I returned to Canterlot the other day, you were working as a blacksmith. Was the shop entirely yours?"

"Yes, i owned it, it got ruined in the first day of the outbreak, i went back there when we all went to Ponyville, when everything started happening." Fire Horn said, he took in a big breath and breathed out. "We should be in Bruchellia by tomorrow, things will start to get bad, we need to be ready for that. We'll talk later though."

 

"I could help if you'd like, i have a basic understanding of magical and non-magical healing supplements." Missy said to Grand.

Grand grumbled "no, ill figure it out" she said, taking a deep breath and hoobling back to the book. She opened it again and started reading, grumbling while she went. "Ill figure this out if its the death of me" she said, taking a deep breath and remembering why she was doing this.

Stephan stretched out a little and yawned "Good, I'm sick of this boat." Stephan had finally calmed down and stopped being so impatient. He then walked over to Grand."

Stephan walked to the mare and sat beside her. "Medicine confusing you?" He asked, as he skimmed over the book.

"This is ridiculous! I dont even know what these words mean. How does one plant look different from another? THEYRE ALL JUST PLANTS" Grand said, frustrated. She took a deep breath. "but, i'll get it eventually, ive only just started" she said, composing herself

Starburst still wasn't able to get up, the shock hadn't worn off yet and his hind legs weren't working, for some reason.

"That right there is cura venenum, it is the main ingredient in the cure for Poison Joke." Missy said.

"I'll just leave you two mares alone for a little while." Stephan walked to the outside and looked up into the night sky. The moon gave off a big, radiant light. A perfect night for a little run. But, for now, he just lied down on the ground and looked up into the sky.

(OOC: Pretty sure it's night. It's getting to that in my timezone, so I just assume.)

Grand took a deep breath. "alright, Cura Venenum. got it" she said, calming herself down. "Maybe im just not the pony for this. I want to keep Josh alive but, I just cant understand this. it seems we already have some healers, perhaps this is just not my job" she said defeated
