Back on the top of the yacht, Zeta stood watch over for anything that was happening. His body armor had little dents but not anything bad. It was a miracle he wasn't injured, considering the only place to be injured at was his face which would of been instant death. But still, miracles happen from time to time so he didn't judge.

Without expecting it, the boat stopped to a halt which nearly threw Zeta off. He was curious on why it stopped so he took a few leaps off, landing next to the control room where Stephan used to be. When no one was there, he yelled out hoping somepony would hear.

 "No, no... no painkillers." he said in refusal, pushing away the offering hoof of the kind mare, "my bag, satchel... where's my satchel. There's a Salix... Salix; a bottle filled with leaves. Where is it?" he asked, and as it was, in his sentences, the signs of a minor memory loss.

Stephan looked over the stallion and examined his body language and the way his words were coming out. "Looks like he's suffering from minor amnesia. Hold on a sec there, bud." He reached into the pony's satchel and found a strange bottle filled with leaves. "Is this it?" Stephan asked, showing him the bottle.

"Yes... that's the one, thanks." Saying no more, Ink Drop snatched the bottle from the stallion's hoof, opened up the cap and took two  leaves. He put both of them directly into his mouth and munches them quickly, then swallowed them without the help of water. 

 

"Salix alba... white willow," finally he could regain some of his memory since after all, the injuries that were sustained weren't too serious, "nature's aspirin." he continued explaining.

"And who's the hurt one?" He replied back, going toward where Stephan was to see a grey pony on the ground. Upon seeing the pony, Zeta walked over and examined him a little.

"So what has happened so far Stepnan? And most importantly, how did you find this little guy?"

"We'll I would hardly call him little. He came up on a speedboat and tried to jump onto our ship, but in the process he bumped his head and that brings us up to now" she said while writing down the medicine this new pony had just described. She put away the painkillers for later use.

"Never use painkillers to relieve concussion or any other light injuries, safe them and avoid the risk of intoxication... you don't have any room to make mistakes like that, don't risk it." Ink Drop replied, as the mare wrote down something in her note precisely after he mentioned the taxonomy name of the white willow that he brought with him in a bottle.

 

Before continuing his words, Ink Drop wildly shook his head then asked, "How's the engine?" as he knew about the condition of it the whole time; even before the survivors came to the docks and took it in a hurry.

Stephan took out some water from his canteen, poured it into a plastic cup, and gave it to the stallion. "Here. Take some. It looks like you need it badly." He put the canteen back in his saddle bag and knelt down to the stallion. "The engine will be okay. Fire Horn will take care of it. Can you tell us your name?" Stephan asked.

Fire Horn popped his head up.
"It's broken, it's not getting us anywhere, any time soon." Fire Horn said, he then returned to his work on the engine.

Fire Horn tried kicking it, that didn't work. Levitating the fuel caps out of the engine. They would need new ones, but they wouldn't find any in the middle of the ocean.

Politely took the plastic cup from the stallion's hoof and said, "Thanks." He took it all in one gulp, then with his mouth empty, he laid down the empty cup on top of the blanket while still holding it "Ink Drop... my name's Ink Drop." Ink Drop introduced him to the group of survivors. 

 

As soon as he heard a pony's voice down below deck stating that the engine was broken, he tried to stand up, still feeling a bit unbalanced and dizzy, Ink Drop said, "That's what I fear, this yacht may be big, but it is old..." he paused for a moment and then continued, "You're gonna need parts."

Stephan ran down to the engine room and looked at the engine. "We could try scouring for parts on the ship, but it might not get us anywhere." Stephan said. "I would jet out to the nearest piece of land to search, but I'd probably get lost. Sibnce, y'know, we're in the middle of nowhere."

"So, what do we do now, Fire?" Stephan asked.

Zeta looked up at grand a little funny. Something like that sounds almost like a failed attempt at a robbery, but there was no other ponies beside him. And because of that, he took off the caution that Ink Drop was some sort of traitor or whatever.

Following alongside Stephan, he looked towards the pony again and nodded. "Good name, but it doesn't suit you for how close you got me to burst out laughing."

"We've got to salvage that boat wreckage, if we can find the parts we need then we should be good to go, from what i could see, the boat looked relatively new." Fire Horn said. "Check with the new guy, he seems to know quite a lot about machinery, also, see if there's any scuba gear. maybe somepony can go diving into the wreckage.

"Aye aye." Stephan looked around the lower parts of the ship. He looked through a few piles of spare parts. None of the pieces he found resembled what they were looking for/ However, while looking, he found something resembling an air tank and a scuba mask, but no suit. "Guess it'll have to do for now." He brought the items back to Fire and showed them to him.

Fire Horn levitated the mask over, there was no damage to the plastic.

"The mask is good." Fire Horn said, looking at the tank now. "But the gauge on the tank says it's empty, you need to pull off the pipe and compress the air into it, get Missy to do it, it's a very complicated magic process."

Stephan carried the air tank up to the upper part of the ship and found Missy."Missy, I need you to oped the valve on this tank. Fire Horn said you could do it." He put the tank down next to Missy. "I'm gonna check up on our new companion."

He walked up to the new stallion. "So, Ink Drop, huh? I saw you back at Baltimare. You're a pretty decent shot." Stephan complimented.

Zeta was still next to Ink Drop when Stephan walked up to him and spoke that. It made him smirk a bit so he added in. "So wait, you must of been that one helping out in that battle against the bandits. I thought I saw you from afar, but threw it aside as an illusion."

Missy levitated the air tank, it was very difficult to levitate air, like reaching out and grabbing nothing, she looked out into the horizon, closed her eyes and cleared her mind. Charging a levitation spell, she reached out, created a levitation field, then shrunk it, this would form the basis of compressed oxygen, she then funneled it inside the valve of the air tank. Only a lot more times and she would be done.

Grand walked over to missy. "Is there anything I can do to help? I'm not the greatest unicorn but I can lend a hand if you need it" she said helpfully, placing the book, now filled with notes,bcarefully on the ground. " i can try and do something to make the process easier im sure"she laughed

"Remember when the bandits were carrying that explosive cargo, but it exploded on them instead? Something had to have made that happen. And not just because they were terrible bandits." Stephan chuckled a little bit at his statement. "Ink Drop here must've shot the cargo and caused it to explode. Nice work, man." Stephan said to Ink.

"Actually, it's just a simple levitation spell, but the way it's being used is very complicated, it doesn't require powerful magic, it just requires a lot of focus, something i was taught." Missy said. "I could teach you and it would be a lot faster. But it will still take some time."

Steel was looking around the other boat and found two more can of fuel " nice he said there wasn't much on the boat tho he decided he would take the fuel and and some broken pieces of metal for himself. Steel came back to the boat and put the fuel cans down " I was able to find some fuel but that's all that was useable on his boat" steel said not bothering to mention the meatal he found he had planes for that but he would need a lot of heat and the right tools for his plan to work, he thought it would be beat if he at least told firehorn " firehor when you have some free time I need to talk to you" steel said

"Not bad, I did see it as well." Zeta replied with a small nod. "It would also give me a lot of trust that he's not a spy for some other group, but putting that aside since it doesn't feel right to talk about it."

It was nice to have another pony with them in case of any emergency, like so. Being a much better sharpshooter, and somepony who knew a lot about mechanics would prove very useful to try to find a cure for the trotters.

"see what? steel asked zeta since he had just got back he didn't know what they was talking about. he was ready to get moving "when will we start going again" steel asked everypony, while moving the cans of fuel so that they weren't  in the way and wouldn't get spilled
