Stephan just began to lower his head. He got up to his feet. "I'm sorry, Zeta. I just need to be alone for a while." Stephan walked inside the cave and lied down on the cold, rocky surface. He then looked at his hands with a sad expression.

Upon seeing Stephan leave, there was also some anger as well. Why would Missy do this to him, unless it would be a mistake made? But it was something he couldn't say.

"Sorry, but i'm not going to tell you anything and I wont. Because you see, you just made a good friend of mine become deeply sad and I don't take nicely to that anymore. You are going to have to suffer a little to learn what you have done, and only then will I show you which way he went.."

With that, he started to walk back to the forest to go grab some firewood, also not in the mood to talk.

Grand was in utter shock. She hadn't uttered a word the entire time. Finally she found some words. " what the buck is going on!??!? This place is insane!" She said, clearly a little unhinged. When the group is ponies showed up and said they would kill them quickly if they gave up all of the weapons, steel for once in a long time let himself feel emotion, it was hatred and anger that filled him he graves the dagger he worked on in the train an pulle it out but when he did it took ok a strange red glow and steel was plunged into a trance...

 

While in the trance he learned of his family and te dagger it self, the trance gave him the knowlage he needed to use this dagger in the ways it was meant to be used.

 

When he came to he say it was evening and he saw a gold flash of light. he force out all emotion and graves the dagger, it didn't glow this time witch means he could use it with or with out the enchantment, he took flight to the source of the light but when he got there he seen zeta walk off into the forest and grand pacing in circles " what happens? You know what I don't want to know where is firehorn I need to speacking with him it's urgent" steel said hoping somepony would answer him quickly

Fire Horn looked down at the now faceless corpse of the captain.

"What the hell is wrong with you, you did not have to kill him, we took his crew and i gave him his life. But, that's just me having morals!"

Fire Horn turned to Ink Drop. "...and don't think for one second i've forgotten about what he said about you Ink Drop. I've got my eyes on you."

 

((Okay, wow... too fast.))

 

He nodded a few times, "Okay... you're the boss. I'm just here trying my best to help." Ink Drop replied calmly, paying no heed or unshaken by the outraged Fire Horn saying furiously in front of his face. Ink Drop left the scene and took his bolt gun and placed it inside his satchel. But before he took one step he said without turning around, "Just replace the engines damaged part, shouldn't be too hard." After that, he left the group, cloistering himself at the front part of the yacht. 

 

~ As the survivors fix the engines and had a little bit of a time-off ~ ((The parts that my OC wasn't present at))

 

For all that time, Ink Drop sat on his own, gazing at the sky... he purposed this since the group had already been through a such ordeal, he thought that it might be best that he wasn't there -- mostly because of Fire Horn. Ink Drop took out his journal and his favorite pen, he peeled over the old and yellowish pages, reviewing his past life -- what he had done, both sad and happy moments.  It was his own way of keeping sane, but... he never dared to open up one certain page.

 

Stephan's eyes widened and he ducked under the machete. "Alright, Missy. I'll play with you."

 

"Are you sure you wish to toy with..." Missy's horn started glowing and her eyes did the same, her voice boomed: "...the power and magic of the mighty alicorn race." Missy looked slightly angry, then sliced upwards with the machete. After she had her fun with that, she went back to normal. "A little scare tactic from Luna."

Stephan simply yawned and got back up to his hooves and wiped the blood off of his face. "I've faced a giant, dark-matter cerberus before. Ten times as scary. Good attempt, though." 

 

She started laughing as she teleported away... off of the boat.

 

 

Stephan pushed himself towards the ground and landed on his hooves. "Huh. You're pretty fast, too." 

 

To hear all of that live, all of that cheerfulness; high spirits and high hopes. Something finally made Ink Drop to give one small smile. He chuckled that all this time, he thought that he was the only one left, and in the last of the days -- when Ink Drop was still at Baltimare, he had almost given up hope; hope to live, his flames were dying out. But luckily he met this ponies and reminded him that live is worth fighting for. He also felt ashamed that he almost gave up, he unmounted his satchel from his back and put it on the floor, using it as a pillow for his head to rest.

 

Ink Drop took of the bandages on his head and put it aside. "What am I suppose to do next?" he asked to the sky, assuming that he was talking to his deceased mother. He paused, he became silent and he heard waves of water crashing upon something, curious he was, he got back up and saw a land; a preferred destination of the survivors. 

 

Fire Horn came back to the boat with a couple cans of fuel, a few guns and a bottle of whiskey (hey, equestria has alcohol).

 

"Guys, we're ready to set out, hold on tight." Fire Horn said and ran up to the controls, pushed the ignition, then let the boat go full throttle, all the way to Bruchellia.

 

-6.5 hours later-

 

The sun was setting over the horizon, land had been spotted two hours ago, they finally landed.

Missy's wing was bandaged and Starburst had been reassured of their parents' love for him and each other.

"According to the map, we're going straight up to the shrine." Fire Horn said. "Alright everypony, stay frosty.

 

The others began to exit the yacht as it touched down at the shores. With Fire Horn as an acting leader, he led the survivors to one designated path. But as for Ink Drop, he went to the other way, not separating from the group; only getting some distance. He chose a well elevated path on the left as a desired walk path.

((Can I make a filler? Won't be effective immediately.))

But instead of following the group, one light source^[1] gained his attention. He came closer to it to find out what it was, then after he was near it, his face turn a bit pale, he gulped in fear as his face was lit by the greenish light. He definitely knew what it was and finally discovered what the place was the whole time; Bruchellia...

 

He left the light source in a rush to find the group, while running he muttered one word very fast and rather unclear, "Triple-E, Triple-E, Triple-E, Triple-E..." he kept blabbing on 'Triple-E'^[2] until he reached the site where the group was gathering. He noticed one strange shadowy figure walking on only two limbs, yet Ink Drop simply ignored it.

 

"You guys never told me this was Bruchellia." He was panting like crazy, exhausted, he was also sweating. "Bruchellia!" he yelled, "Do you know what it means?" Ink Drop paused, like he was waiting for something to come up, his eyes aimed towards the dense jungle and said yet again, "Triple-E..."

 

[1] A magic zebra torch

[2] Triple-E, a real and fatal equine disease. Or in this case for the story flow, make some tribe of zebras having this strange disease similar to Kuru

 

((I suggest that somepony said to Ink Drop that he had been hit on the head too hard. In my opinion at least, I'll edit this post if you guys don't like it.))

After parting with the group (and making that terrible lie for them to fend for themselves), Zeta traced the steps back toward the cave Stephan had resided in. For some reason it felt different when walking inside, but sure enough he saw him lying on the ground.

"Uhm.. Stephan?" He spoke, bowing his head down to give him a nudge.

Fire Horn wanted a little "chat", with Ink Drop about his past actions, questioning his loyalties may be a bad idea, but if Fire didn't do that, he might expect a knife in his back, or one of his family.

"Ink Drop, might i have a word with you for a moment?" Fire Horn asked.

 

"Mum, what happened to Ghost?" Starburst asked, his expression filled with concern.

"He changed, he's not him anymore, not the pony we trusted." Missy's mind whirred at an alarming rate.

"Wasn't it you who said that friends never give up on each other?" Missy asked herself in thought.

what good would it be to the group if the truth about my dagger... none but if somepony was to touch itsince they cant controle there emotions like me whoo knows what will happen somepony could get hurt i have to at least tell firehorn steel thought "irehorn my i have a word with you" steel said while holding the dagger being sure to stay detached

"We'll talk later, Steel, but right now i have other issues." Fire Horn said sternly. He turned to Ink Drop. "What are you on about?"
"So, what? Is he a human now?" Starburst asked.
"I don't know, i think he always was a human, then... he came here and transformed into a pony." Missy said. "I just don't know if Stephan would even want to speak to me after how i treated him." Missy started sobbing and Starburst put his hoof over her shoulder."Don't worry about that, i'm sure he'll forgive you." Starburst assured her.

" ok firehorn" steel said while taking the dagger and wraping in cloth and putting it back ino his bag. He took out one of the daggers he fought with, the one that he wielded with his right hoof and decided to switch it with the dagger he fixed in the train that he found was enchanted on the boat, his family dagger.

Stephan lifted his head and adjusted his glasses. He got up to his feet. He was trying to adjust not being on four legs anymore. "Oh, hey Zeta. What are you doing here?"

"Hnn?" He was surprised by how Stephan just greeted him now. "I thought you would tell me to go away or something like that, but it's not the point.. I just wanted to be with you for now, since I would still consider you a good friend. Plus you just made the top interesting thing I've ever seen before, so it's made me happy. I didn't want you to leave from the other ponies, even from what they said, so I had to come here."

He could still do it, but it was hard to keep his balance. "Heh. Guess I still have it." He joked. "I'm just a little worried, Zeta..."

"Missy is already regretting what she said to you, and in due time everypony will come to their senses and still accept you just like always. Besides, you wouldn't want to disappoint all of them by running away, especially Grand right?"

Stephan's eyes widened and he blushed a little. "Yeah, I guess you're right, Zeta." Stephan admitted. "But, it's just I don't want them to see me as a freak. Ever since I've come to Equestria when I was a teenager at seventeen, I've gotten used to being a pony like everyone else. And now, for my human form suddenly coming back, those feelings from before are returning." He sat down and sighed. "I just need some time, Zeta. I need to get used to being a human again."

He started to nuzzle under Stephan's arm and looked back up at him. To Zeta he didn't look at all like anything bad, but more or less he wasn't biased about appearance either. So he just kept on rubbing his face up against the shirt and smiled.

Stephan smiled and rubbed Zeta's head. Him and Zeta walked outside into the forest. Stephan lied on the ground and looked up into the night sky. It seemed as if the rain stopped for a while. As he watched the sky, he thought he saw his home planet, Earth, somewhere up there.

Out in the forest Zeta laid next to Stephan, still rubbing on him while looking up to the stars as well. He was curious to know why he came out here so he asked. "Any particular star you are to look at up in this night sky? It seems like you're focused on one so I just want to make sure."

Stephan pointed up at the tiny blue speck in the sky. "That's not a star. It's a planet... my planet, in fact." Stephan explained. "Every once in a while, I'd walk outside my house in Ponyville and look into the stars. Everytime I look, I swear that I can see Earth in the sky."

Grand decided to start setting up camp while everyone figured out their situation. She got a rough lean to built, and she made a makeshift fire pit. She thought it might be a good idea to look for some plants to keep with her in case of emergency. It would give her a little practice and time to herself as well

"Your planet that is?" Zeta replied, squinting at the blue light that shined from the little speck in the sky. It didn't seem like it but whatever Stephan said he would believe for now.

He gave a little pause but remembered something. "Hey Stephan. Because you changed now, can you still fight?"

Stephan smirked and got up. "Of course I can. I practiced on Earth." He reached behind him and pulled out his electric boa staff. He was surprised that it was still there. He assumed it went away during the transformation. He took a few clean swings at thin air with it and used one of the tough trees as a practice dummy.

Fire Horn came in front of him as he first pony to react to his blabbing nonsense about this 'Triple-E'. Might as well; he thought, it was the only way to lower down the heat and explain things about himself to Fire Horn. But with events that might occur any moment; an event that he had witnessed in his past life as an author, his tongue slipped a little, "A word... really? A word in the middle of nowhere at Bruchellia?" Ink Drop replied to Fire Horn, not giving him the answer that Fire Horn probably wanted.

 

 He turned to Ink Drop. "What are you on about?"

 

 

He tried his best to explain the situation they are in, "Okay, we're at Bruchellia, I've been here..." he said; one hell of an ordeal that had blown a crater inside his mind. "I know what your goal is, to find this elements, yes I've seen it, and the shrine and everything but there is one problem." Ink Drop looked up to the cliffs and the forest pointing every strange green light source, "One, two, three, four, five... and so on. There are two factions or two types of zebras, one are the Plainstrider^[1] clan; casual and 'normal' clan." he explained after he counted all five and perhaps more green lights present around them.

 

"The other one is, the Hajoon^[2]..." he almost shuddered as the spoke the other clan's name, "Cannibalistic and they use those torches to mark of their territory, and really... really... unfriendly."

Fire Horn looked at the strange lights.
"I'm not really one for taking your word right now, are you going crazy or something? Hit your head a bit too hard?" Fire Horn asked. "I don't really know but it seems as though you've made that up with your crazy writer's mind, Ink Drop."
