Grand was picking a few plants and running over what had happened today in her mind. She was surprised how much gathering plants soothed her.she started to pick a few leaves off the tree when all of a sudden something slithered past her. She turned around and a viper easily the size of 15 ponies lined up reared up and hissed at grand. She stumbled and crawled over to her saddlebag where the dagger was and braced herself. "Guys!" She screamed, watching the viper taunting her

"What?" Fire Horn said as he looked over and saw the giant serpent. "Grand, get away from that thing, it's probably poisonous, or worse, it could kill you."
"I know what this is, it's a Giant Indigo Viper, it's not poisonous, but it packs one hell of a bite." Missy said.

Stephan smirked and got up. "Of course I can. I practiced on Earth." He reached behind him and pulled out his electric boa staff. He was surprised that it was still there. He assumed it went away during the transformation. He took a few clean swings at thin air with it and used one of the tough trees as a practice dummy.

Zeta gave out a little giggle when watching Stephan hack at the tree. "I guess I doubted you a little there. You still have it all which continues to make us the two protectors of the group...

He gave a long pause after saying that, remembering about the group back at the shoreline. "And the two protectors are gone right now, I just hope they're ok."

Stephan jumped up when he heard a scream in the distance. He immediately recognized it. "Grand, don't worry! I'm coming! C'mon, Zeta! We've got trouble!" Stephan ran in the direction where the group set up their shelter. His mach speed seemed to still be In tact. He ran up to the group and saw a giant serpent. "Get away from her!" Stephan threatened, ready to attack when the time comes.

"Shit, I heard that as well.. If only I had kept my stuff on, since I left it all at the boat."

Zeta quickly followed behind Stephan, running through the forest and eventually made their way out to where the scream was. And in front of the boat, was the serpent that was blocking any access to it.

"Well this sucks.. Anyway, sup guys we're back! Right now we need somepony to volunteer to distract the serpent while one of you grab a gun from the boat. Anypony, please?" As he pointed toward Missy.

Grand took the book, which happened to have a red cover, and waved it in front if the serpents face. "Alright, let's see how we'll my legs want to work today" she said as she began to run, coaxing the. Serpentbrhi d her with the book. Her legs seemed to be holding up well, but she opulent run forever

Missy knew that Zeta didn't like her for what she hade done to Stephan,she looked over at Stephan with an expression saying: "I'm sorry" then she took in a deep breath, then exhaled, picked a large rock off the ground and threw it at the snake.
It turned around in her direction, she started running into the forest with it chasing her.

(I'll be leaving for school, so try not to post up a storm while i'm out.)

Steel pulled his daggers being sure to have no emotion, but was shocked when he seen the thing running with zeta "what the hell is that?" steel asked ready to strike at any mommnt steel took off after the snake as it chased Missy -I can't let it kill anypony that snake must die-

Zeta smiled when Missy threw the rock to get the serpents attention, eventually running for his hunting revolver next to his armor in the boat.

"You can work marvels cant you, Missy?" He spoke to himself, grabbing and taking aim with it. And in just a moment, he fired a shot which went through it's lower body, causing some major damage from the bullet. The recoil hurt his arm a little bit from being the most powerful bullet you can shoot from one of those things (45-70) but he took aim again and shot just a little left of his first.

The next shot had fractured an important bone in the serpents body, leaving it only to squirm in pain from the gun's power. "Whew, Celestia.. I don't know if I need another shot in the serpent from how bad the wounds look."

Steel saw the bullets rip two holes in the serpent and was ready when it turned, while the serpent turns steel brings his dagger level with it's eyes and the serpent drives it's eye rightvinti the dagger after that steel flew higher while pulling the dagger out and stayed on the now blind side of the serpent even tho the serpent could still smell him it didn't matter he took his dagger andvtried to drive it into the head of the serpent but it turned and caused steel to miss

Missy had ran, she didn't stop until she realised the serpent was nowhere to be found, she had spent about half an hour trying to find everypony, but she was lost in the forest, she'd read all about Bruchellia's wild-life, it was night, which meant the hunters were out to play...

...and she was their prey.

Fire Horn looked at the strange lights.

"I'm not really one for taking your word right now, are you going crazy or something? Hit your head a bit too hard?" Fire Horn asked. "I don't really know but it seems as though you've made that up with your crazy writer's mind, Ink Drop."

 

Surprised, but not that surprised. Ink Drop has been expecting that Fire Horn wouldn't believe him for the first time nor would any other ponies, just like before when he was doing a research for his book The Elements. "It's not my 'crazy writer's mind'..." Ink Drop replied imitating how Fire Horn say, "You know what... if you think I'm lying or trying to stab you all in your backs then why did I warn you about the yacht's engine," Ink Drop mentioned and there was still more, "or help you distract the Brook, and even try to warn you about this place... I'm just trying to help." Ink Drop said seriously but he knew it was always hard to convince someone of about the truth and so he continued, "I'll be up on that tree, if you guys need help or anything..."

Ink Drop left the group and climbed up one large tree; well elevated from the ground, away from those nasty critters or cannibalistic zebras. Up on the tree, he took a squatting position on one of the big branches, he kept a vigilant look on the area that had the most torches.

Steel let his anger go and the dagger in his right hoof started to form a red aura and steels eyes turned solid black and looked like pits he let out a demonic scream and lounged at the serpent and stabbed it in the other eye and then in the head for the kill and the aura around the dagger got brighter with each second that passed as steel cut the head off to make sue it was dead the daggers glow was so bright it was like day around him he graves the head and headed towers the camp as the glow slowly dimed.

When he got back to camp his dagger still glowed bright line a fire and light the whole camp he took the head of the serpent and threw it down infront of firehorn. He looked at firehorn with his solid black eyes "I didn't see Missy we need to send a search party for her she could have ran a long way" steel said as the color slowly came back to his eyes, while he forced his anger away and calmed himself to his normal cold detached state

Missy was wandering through the forest, in a strange new land at night, she was frightened, more frightened than she cared to admit.
"Hello? Is anypony here?" Missy asked. Something popped out from behind her and grabbed her, Missy let out a loud scream of terror before they smothered her with something until she fell unconcious and was dragged away.

we need the fast and fighters to go  and look for her we don't know whats out there and can somepony   please tell what that thing over there is" steel said while looking at it not worried if  It would attack, it was running with zeta so he as sure it was friendly so than he remembered Stephan hadn't helped in the fight he looked around and didn't see him at all " and where is Stephan?" steel asked the color completely back in his eyes and the daggers glow was gone  hopefully nopony will ask they had to have noticed, the dagger had just gotten bright as day steel thought

Stephan laughed at the snake, but he turned in the other direction when he heard Missy's screams. "Damn it! Now Missy?? Zeta, finish off this giant pile of scales while I go and find Missy."

Stephan ran in the direction where Missy screamed and screeched to a halt. "Missy, where are you??" Stephan shouted, as he searched the area.

"Ink Drop. We need your help..." Fire Horn hesitated. "...OK, you may have been right about these guys, i need to ask, where do these ponies operate? Are they in the woods?" Fire Horn paused and thought for a second. "Never mind. They may have taken Missy, i'm going to go with Stephan, but if we don't come back, i want you to take everyone that's left, and get to that shrine." Fire Horn ran off towards the forest where Stephan went.

steel watched as what firehorn said was Stephan and firehorn ran off to missy  

"ill stay here zeta you need to go with them but get your armor on first ok" steel said while cleaning his daggers and putting them back in there sheath

"Stephan!?!" Fire Horn shouted. "Where are you?" Fire Horn walked in the direction he thought he saw Stephan go, but he couldn't be sure.

Missy started to regain consciousness, and she started coughing too due to being choked by whoever had attacked her. She couldn't see though, or speak, there was a blindfold over her eyes and a gag in her mouth.

Stephan was looking around the forest for some sort of secret passage or something that could help him out. He heard Fire Horn's voice in the distance. "Fire, what are you doing out here?" He ran to Fire Horn's direction and appeared in a blur in front of him. "It looks like those guys Ink was talking about are actually here."

"I know, they must have snuck up on her, that must've been the scream we heard." Fire Horn said. "We have to find her." Fire Horn looked at Stephan. "Also, i wanted to ask how you were adjusting back to being a human after so long being a pony, it must be difficult."

Stephan talked to Fire Horn while they were looking around the forest. "I guess it's fine. I'm doing better than I thought I would. It's bee 13 years after all." Stephan did a slight laugh to himself. "I think it's because of this place's history. The shrine up there must give off a spell of some sort that has never been activated. At least, until now. But I'm just speculating." Stephan noted.

"I really don't know either, although i am feeling a lot of magic eminating from the land itself, almost as if it's alive." Fire Horn said. "Anyway, i'd say our first bet is to follow any tracks we see, she might have been knocked out or something, so either hoof prints or two lines leading wherever it is they went." Fire Horn started looking around, but couldn't see anything in the dark.

Stephan felt around the ground in search of a trail of some sort. After a while, he saw a dirt path with hoof tacks in it. They seemed to be going to the south. "Hey, Fire Horn, check it out!" He pointed to the trail. "I guess luck is on our side. C'mon, let's follow it." Stephan started walking across the trail, making sure he didn't miss anything by running.

Zeta came to them a little later after putting his armor back on and reloading his gun. Eventually he caught up to both Stephan and Fire Horn just in time for them to both notice the hoof prints in the trail.

"Hey you guys! Both of you ran out here yelling Missy! And I don't know why. Did something happen to her while we we're attacking the serpant?"
