Stephan finally ran back to the group's cave and sat Missy down on the ground. "Try not to get caught by any more cannibals." Stephan walked into the cave and lied down on the ground. "Let me know when you guys are ready to start searching for that shrine." He said as he tried to get some sleep.

(I'm just fast forwarding since you guys did an entire section without me.)

Steel watched as Stephan ran I with Missy and laid er in the cave "ok Stephan you got it and te rest of you go to sleep I'll keep watch" steel said feeling Better he flee up in a tree and watched for anything that might attack he wa in the tree grand was using as a dummy he couldn't even feel her hitting it.- in two days she better be ready- steel thought

Fire Horn entered the cave. Everyone was settling down for some sleep.

"Everypony, we have to get moving, it's almost daylight and we've got to put some distance between us and them." Fire Horn said.
"So get up, we're leaving, right now." Fire Horn levitated Missy onto his back and the saddlebag too, he exited the cave, waiting for everypony to follow.

Stephan flipped up to his feet. "Alright, Fire! Let's get moving and find that shrine." Stephan sprinted out of the cave and waited for the others. It felt weird being the only human in the group. It made him feel special, but a little out-of-place. Maybe he was just too used to his pony form. He strapped on a pair of gloves and boots. "Looks like it's time for hiking..."

Steel heard firehorn even tho he was in a tree he flew dIw grabed his bag pulled and dagger and followed firehorn ready and watching if anything attacked them it would die "so how far is this shrine we have to go to any idea" steel asked firehorn while he too flight and flew a few feet off the ground

"The shrine is on the very peak of Bruchellia, it will be quite a journey getting there, but i believe that we can do it." Fire Horn said.
"I think the pony form is more optimal for climbing due to the equal amount of weight." Missy said. "I'd love to study this, now that i can see a human up close."

"There'll be time for that later." Fire Horn said.

Grand followed behind quietly, her eyes down. She put away the electric rod but kept it near. She kept some distance between her and the rest if the group, though not far enough for it to be too noticeable. The mountain would be taxing for her mechanical keg, but she promised herself she would climb this mountain with no assistance

Stephan made sure that he walked with the group, as he didn't want to run off on his own. He slowed down and walked next to Grand. He noticed the electric rod Stephan gave her back in Canterlot. "You kept it? I thought that with all of this plant stuff, you'd probably not even use it."

As Fire Horn walked with the group, his mind raced, all the things that could go wrong, everyone could die, the apocalypse continues and everypony's deaths would be in vain, or some of them could die, leaving the rest to pick up the pieces of their already tattered friendships.

From behind, the brute trotted along to see the group taking a trail up the mountain. But the first thing to do was run beside Grand and give her a little nudge.

Grand let out a frustrated sigh. " no, I'm perfectly fine. I've just told myself I'll do everything in my power to be a better part of this team" she said, as if explaining it for the hundredth time. " you can tell me anything Stephan" she said, a bit of her old voice returning when she says this. " as long as zeta doesn't mind of course"

He sighed and managed to let it out. "I think you put yourself down too much, Grand. Not everypony can everything, you know. You can do things that none of us here can't do. You just need to find it inside of you. You're Grand Finale. If you put you're heart into something, you can be anything you want to be." He said, trying to give some words of wisdom. "I mean, I'll be honest; I'm not strong. I can run fast and fight fast, but without speed, I'd probably be dead within a week after the outbreak even began. You've survived this long. " I wish I knew what it was. It seems like I must be doing something, but I don't know what it is. Could you imagine if josh hadn't been there when I had gotten bitten? Or if nobody would've pulled me out of that trotter infested shack when I had given up completely? I wouldn't be here. The mountain had gotten quite a bit steeper, so she had to struggle a bit to keep up as her keg didn't particularly like walking up the side of a mountain. " stupid thing" she muttered, kicking out the rock that have been clattering around in it

"That's a good girl.." Zeta replied, noticing that she was having trouble climbing up. "If you're in need of any help climbing up this, just get on either of our backs and we'll take you up. Don't worry, Stephan's skin is actually nice to touch and my armor doesn't have any sharp edges in it."

Stephan felt the mountain getting steeper, but he just kept pushing through. He could feel himself starting to sweat. "Well... this would probably be easier... if I was a pony again..." Stephan muttered. He kept himself hydrated as he kept climbing. He looked back at Grand, who seemed to be struggling. "Has it ever crossed your mind that that thing might be holding you back?"

"Having only three real legs dies provide some difficulty at times" she huffed "I'm fine for now though, thanks" she said tiredly. They've been climbing for awhile now and they seemed no closer to their destination. "You don't suppose we'll be there soon do you fire." She asked breathlessly

"I have no idea when we'll get there, i just know that Bruchellia, is larger than Equestria and we're going to the arctic north of the land, it's the only point that Equestria connects to here." Fire Horn said to Grand. "I just hope we don't run into any more surprises."
