Steel ate his salad as he watched for trotters and spin his dagger with his free hoof "thanks grand"steel said "this is really good" steel ate his salad and put the bag by him on the ground and pulled his other dagger and began spinning them both in and elegant fashion

Grand went over to missy. "Perhaps tomorrow morning would be better. Then you can get some rest. We have all had a pretty taxing day" she said, sitting down next to her. "There's no point in risking injury, and that includes pushing ourselves too hard.tomorriw morning is a much better option"

"Leaving by morning is probably best, we all need rest, one moment." Missy's horn lit up as she replaced the shield that was in front of the cave entrance, afterwards, she was absolutely exhausted. "We should all get some sleep now, tomorrow is a new day, filled with new dangers." Missy lay on her side and tried to sleep. Fire Horn walked over to Grand.

"I know she's going to be alright....physically, but how is she going to cope mentally, with all that's going on, it's a surprise she hasn't cracked." Fire Horn whispered to Grand.

" I won't be sleeping tonight the adrenaline In the injection will keep me up, so I guess ill be the look out while I'll do that I will work on hilts for the blades I'm going to have made out of te obsidian I found" steel said as he walked to his bag to get the materials he would need

"Oh, I doubt any one is going to go crazy or anything like that. We need to focus on physical health." She said, smiling at firehorn. "Missy is going to be fine. Nobody is going to crack" a strange look entered grands eyes on the last word but it faded as quick as it appeared

Fire Horn noticed Grand's strange look, but passed it off as being tired.

"I know how you felt once this had happened to you, i just hope that Missy won't be the same way." Fire Horn replied, unconvinced. "Right, i've got to go talk to Steel, you should get some shut-eye." Fire walked over to Steel and sat down.
"I work as a blacksmith back in Canterlot, any time you want, i could make those daggers for you."

Stephan couldn't help but wonder. "Yeah. Fat chance. We already have somepony almost lose their marbles." He thought.

 

He lied down on the cold cave ground. It felt backbreaking for Stephan. He'd been sleeping on nothing but solid rock ever since they got on the island. He also couldn't help but feel lonely and sad. He was so far away from his home. He worried that they would at some point come to a piece of human history, and everypony will treat him like an outcast. It was the worry he had ever since falling into Equestria.

"you was? Well if you wan to I just need the blades made and I have enough for thirteen blades and a full set of armor"steel said " and I'm guessing by now you'v noticed something odd about my dagger haven't you" steel asked while he worked on makein hilts for his knew safer blades

"Yes, it seems to be of very old design, very old..." Fire Horn looked at the dagger, the intricacy of the work. "Was this designed by an ancestor of yours, it is very impressive." Fire Horn was in awe at the craftsmanship, even he couldn't do something as skillful as that.

Fire Horn walked out of the cave and towards a lava pool, melting the ground in a circle and piling some sections up into a blacksmith's working area. "Hoof me the obsidian will you?"

" yea I think it was it has been in my family for generations the head of the family is the only one that wilds it" steel said as he pulled out the obsidian "here yo go, but it's age isn't the only thing that makes this special I'm surprises noponys notices what sometimes happens when I'm in a very intense fight while I'm using it"

Grand took a deep breath, shaking her head. She had been having these strange feelings for awhile now, but she figured it was time to go to sleep. She laid down and fell into a deep sleep almost instantly. She was exhausted after the days events that took place

Fire Horn took the obsidian and got to work with it, the material is very difficult to work with.

"You do realize how heavy this will be as armor don't you?" Fire Horn asked. "Also, when you say full set of armor, do you mean helmet and all?" Fire Horn waited for Steel's answer.

Stephan just looked up on the ceiling for a little while. He couldn't sleep, not until this was all over. That will be the only time he'll sleep. He got up and cracked his back. "Yep... that didn't feel good..." Stephan said in a weak voice. He walked to Fire and Steel. Fire seemed to be trying to make something. "Smithing? Without a forge?"

"Yeah, have to make do with what i have, seeing as how we're near a volcano, the closest thing i have to a forge, i thought, what the hell?" Fire Horn said, molding a dagger shape with his magic. "Anyway, it seems to be working out fine, they will need sharpened though, actually..." Fire Horn facehoofed. "We need water, cold water for this, to cool the blades, but we're short enough on water as it is."

"I got water. Two gallons worth in canteens, in fact. But, I don't think it's what you'd call cold..." Stephan said. "Well, we can't make do with a blade as dull as that. We'll need some other way of sharpening it. If there is one." Stephan said, taking out a canteen and drinking some of the water.

"yea I do realize how heavey it will be and yes helmet and all" steel said "wait I can fly up and get water from the clouds,Stephan get all the water containers from everypony I'll need them to fill them up ok" steel said as he pulled out his jug and too the cap off so he could fill it

(You can't get rain in volcanic areas, so there are no clouds.)

"Alright, we're going to need a big wheel of stone, if we get that we'll be able to sharpen the blades, although if we go down that route we need something tougher than obsidian or the blade will be sharpening it." Fire Horn kept working and molding.

Meanwhile, Missy was stirring, she was having a nightmare of some kind.
"Come back....please?"

Stephan looked outside in the volcanic valley. "That's gonna be tough to find, Fire. Plus, if it's a giant wheel you need, I'm not gonna be able to go out and get one alone. trying to sleep on this cave floor is backbreaking enough. But, I'll go out there if you want me to. Because I'm crazy." He laughed a little.

Fire Horn kept working on the blades. "You should take Steel or Zeta with you, a strong pony." Fire levitated a canteen of water over and stuck the blade in, it sizzled a bit.

Missy was alone in a dark room, she was in pain as her "friends" stood over her, they didn't want her anymore, they didn't need a crippled alicorn who's only capabilities are party tricks.

Missy was tossing and turning, murmuring "no" over and over again.

Grand nightmares began again, though this time she was much more active. Dead quiet, she rose and began to sleepwalk, right out if the cave. No expression, blank eyes, but she continued to walk. This nightmare was her friends, running away from her. She couldn't catch up, she could only walk along, so that's what she did

Fire Horn was pulling a dagger out of the water, it would only need sharpening, he moved onto molding the set of armor... but suddenly, Grand walked out of the cave.
"Grand? Didn't i tell you to get some shut-eye?" Fire Horn joked but then he noticed there was no response from her, and he became serious. "Grand! Listen to me!"

"You got it, Fire! C'mon, boys. Let's go!" Stephan grabbed Zeta and Steel and the trio went in search of a giant rock for Fire to use.

As the trio began their search, Stephan noticed Grand trotting outside of the cave. "Hey, Grand, are you alright? You know it's not safe to be just wandering out in a volcanic valley." Stephan said. But, there was no answer from Grand. He waved his hand in her eyeballs, which seemed to be pale. "Hello? Anyone home?"

Grand moved them out if the way. "No, they're way up there, ill catch up, don't worry about me" she said monotonously. She just kept walking, eyes dull. "No need to wait up. I'll be there, ill be there soon" she said, as if calling for someone. Finally she just layed down and fell asleep on the ground (whatta crazy biatch)

Grand suddenly fell asleep as she was walking.
"Grand? She's sleep-walking, alright Stephan, get her back inside, i've got work to do and so do you." Fire Horn said.

Missy was now sweating and is breathing unusually quickly.

Hearth had been walking all night while the rest slept. He looked for shortcuts, and had found a few, with a surprising shortage of trotters. He eventually found a ridge nearby the cave, but a far ways off. He pulls out his violin, sits down and starts to play a song.
