"Sure thing, Fire. And, you may wanna check on your wife there. She isn't looking so good. Though, granted, after all of this, none of us are." Stephan picked up Grand in his arms and carried her back into the cave. "When I get back, you and I are gonna talk." He said to her, knowing well that she couldn't really hear him say it. He put her down on the ground and went back outside the cave. "We won't be long!"

Fire looked up from the make-shift forge. "What do you mean when you say that?" Fire walked quickly into the cave, there Missy was, as though she was having a panic-attack in her sleep, Fire sat next to her and began to get a piece of fabric from a saddlebag, soaking it in water and placing it on her forehead. Fire pulled a few bits of hair out of Missy's face.

Grand awoke with a start. "Where you carrying me?" She said, standing hersel up. She was too tired to really care, but she heard a violin and was drawn to it. She sat down by hearth and listened. All if her worries seemed to disappear as she listened. "That is so beautiful" she smiled, sleepiness still in her eyes

Hearth jumped a little as she sat down. He played a little more but figured that he was being rude. He looked at her and smiled. "We'll, eventually ya get bored of seein' dirt, dirt, and more dirt. It's a lot easier to vent through music than attacking something." He looked at the instrument. "Ah don't like to kill those trotters. Ah kill them t' survive, but jus' knowing that the had lives and families...."

Fire Horn's mind raced, there was nothing he could think of that would cause something like this, an allergic reaction to the trail mix?

Symptoms being: high fever, rapid breathing, almost vomiting. Something clicked in his head, he got up in a panic.

"Grand. Grand!" Fire shouted, going towards the sound of the violin, seeing Grand he ran towards her. "Grand, we've got a problem."

Grand jolted fully awake. "Wh-what is it?" She said, a little sad to have to leave the music. "Is it missy? Did the wound open up?" She said walking over to her. She was breaking out in sweats. "It seems like she's having a nightmare... A pretty bad one" she said feeling her forehead

"It's worse, it's become infected, we've got to help, we have to..." Fire was at the end of a tether. "Missy's health was meant to be one of my top priorities, but instead I decided to saunter away and make some f***ing weapons." Fire galloped as fast as he could back to Missy.

Hearth follows suit, he looks to his herb collection. He pulls out some être extract. He looks at it. "Break this under her nose, it with help her breathe a little bit easier." Hearth says handing it to Grand.

Stephan raised an eyebrow \. He took out his trail mix and ate some of it. "Does it really taste that bad?" Stephan looked at Missy's wound. The wound was still sealed from burning it closed earlier. "It doesn't looked like much has changed. It looks exactly like it did when we previously burned it shut."

"I don't think it's the virus, it would have hit already. She was fine all day, I don't understand" she said looking at her. "It doesn't make any sense. There's no way!" She said checking her forehead. Her eyes welled up. "It's-it's impossible. The infection starts instantly" she said, trying to think of another reason

Hearth thought of several reasons. His mind raced and he thought of something in his past. 'Could it be possible?' He thought to himself. 'Could it really be possible?' He decided to take a shot, not just in the dark, but in the infinite black. He very sheepishly looked at Grand. "Um... Is it possible... that she could be... pregnant?" He asked her.

Fire felt sick, the idea of her being pregnant again frightened him, he started hyperventilating barely able to breathe or speak. He remembered back to what happened on the boat, that could have caused it....

"I-I don't know. It's possible, but at thus point it could be any number if things" she said looking at fire. "Did you... Ever let there be a chance if her becoming pregnant?" She said, trying to think if the best way to ask. "It could be anything, but if that's what it is, we're not in a good spot for her to be going through that" she said, trying to wake her up

Zeta's eye lifted up a notch, turning around to face Fire. "And how the hell would she be pregnant as of now? I wouldn't get it unless somepony told me a good reason why she would." Then gave a slight pause, trying to think of other options to calm him down. "Maybe it's just some sort of side effect that's happening, I don't know."

Stephan turned back around and looked at Missy. He couldn't hear the conversation since he was outside. But, just by looking at her, he knew exactly what was happening. "Oh my... here?" He said. His eyes darted to Fire Horn. "Did you do it with her on the boat, Fire?"

Grand took fires response as a "yup that could be it". What awful timing. "She better not need a cesarean" she said, looking st her carefully. They couldn't wait any longer, they had to get out of the island before that baby was going to come, if that's what it was. "We move tomorrow, no exceptions"

Stephan walked over to Fire Horn and picked him up by the chest. "Are you mad, man??" He yelled. "You're wife is about to bring a new filly into the world, and we're about to walk hundreds of miles through sand and dust, with little water to spare! We can't put her baby through that!"

Hearth heard this his mind seemed to be shattering. 'A bit unfair to the child.' He thought to himself. 'But we don't know yet.' He rectified. He stepped outside and onto the ridge again. He sat down and stared into the distance. He needed to think, and clear his mind, get his thoughts and opinions known.

"Guys? What's happening?" Missy asked.

"Now let's not freak out. We still have no idea, it's just a possibility." She said, still focussing in missy. She could tell them what was going on. "It could be any number of things, let's keep that in mind" she called to everyone, trying to calm them down.

"No, she's not in labour, don't be ridiculous, if she is pregnant and i'm getting clear indications she is." Fire Horn yelled. "It was about 2 days ago, these things take near enough a year, she'll be fine." Fire Horn said.

Missy's eyes opened, she was still breathing rapidly but less so.

"Guys? What's happening?" Missy asked.

"Missy? Missy!" Zeta quickly responded, looking in her eyes. "Missy, how are you feeling right now? I know it's a bit odd but we've been trying to guess if you have any type of infection or not. Don't worry, it's not a trotter bite one since that's been dealt with, but still.."

"But what if she is, Fire??" He yelled the question. "What if she is giving birth?? We'll have to put that new filly through a desert and finally a giant machine that I have to plug a small device into. What a great introduction to the world!" He dropped Fire on the ground and tried to calm down. "I'm sorry... I just don't want it to happen here."

"She's not going through labor, she isn't having any contractions. If she's pregnant it's nothing more than morning sickness" she said, calming him down. "She isn't dilated or anything. It cou,d just be a fever, please just calm down" she hushed, focussing in missy. "How are you feeling?"

Hearth looked at his violin again. "Everypony is obsessed with death. Ah don't like it." Hearth said to himself. As inopportune, as it was, it just felt right. He placed it a gainst his chin and drew the bow across the set of strings. Back and forth, seeming to be hypnotized at the motion itself.

Fire Horn dusted himself off.
"Listen, buddy, i've been through this all before, or have you forgotten already." Fire said. "Our son? Starburst? Died saving your life, yes, i figured it all out, he wouldn't just get hit by a spear in mid-air for no reason. So keep out of this and count yourself lucky to be alive."

"My head hurts and i feel sick, will somepony tell me what's going on?" Missy said weakly.
