Zeta replied back to Missy and Grand, letting out a little laugh. "I guess you're right. Maybe i'm the damsel in distress, literally, and you're the hero of it all. Not to mention Grand here had just saved me as well, which i'm... I'm thankful, for that.."

He looked around, viewing the mountain and seeing all the ponies once more climb up the mountain.

"By the way, are you girls taking me to the top?"

Stephan looked down from the mountain. At this point, he was about 1000 feet above solid ground. He felt like throwing up. He kept his lunch down and continued climbing. "Fire..." Stephan tried to get his attention. "How much higher do we have to climb until we reach the top?"

"Only answer i can give Stephan...if you want me to be honest that is..." Looking up at the huge mountain. "Though there is a plateau, a bit below the peak where we can rest, if you want." Fire said. "It's still a long way, but i'm sure we'll get there soon."

 

"Yes, we're going to the top, i hope we get to rest somewhere along the way, though. Are you alright? You must have taken some kind of serious physical injury."

"No serious physical injury, except a little cut on the right hoof when I was climbing up." Zeta replied back to Missy, looking up at her. "I kind of want to thank you both for saving me again and all that. It just never feels like enough just to say it, really.."

Steel flew up to the group "zeta if you want you can hope on my back I can carry to know that you not falling about as fast as I can fly"steel said, ashamed that he wasn't able to save zeta but he kept all emotion from showing just as he had for years of his life

"I told you it's no problem, we're all friends and we all care about you. We aren't just going to let you die, we wouldn't be very good friends then would we?" Steel then flew up beside her. "I'll talk to you later Zeta, alright?" Missy said, stopping to place Zeta on Steel's back.

Grand sat up abruptly after nearly falling asleep. "Wh- whatever did zeta go? Did you drop him?!!?" She said, looking down trying to see him. "Where did he go?" She looked over to see him safely with steel. "Ah. Never mind then, my apologies" she said, looking at the mountain.

"I told you it's no problem, we're all friends and we all care about you. We aren't just going to let you die, we wouldn't be very good friends then would we?" Steel then flew up beside her. "I'll talk to you later Zeta, alright?" Missy said, stopping to place Zeta on Steel's back.

"I, I guess not.. Maybe I failed to realize it until now." He spoke back, being lowered onto Steel. "And also, you know we're going to the same place right? I kind of uh... I might as well admit. While you guys are all still climbing and watching over, I kinda wanted to talk to Grand.."

Just after speaking that, he watched her suddenly wake up and look towards him. So being Zeta, he gave a wave and smiled.

"Hey Grand. How did it feel like to save somepony, other then by medicine?"

"Well....um...." Missy thought for a moment. "You and Grand can talk once we're on solid ground, but for now, you're heavy, but Grand's not so heavy so we divide up the injured and unable." Missy turned to Grand. "No offense or anything...." But then paused and started laughing a little bit.

'The only reason your not riding on some ponies back is because you've got wings, might I remind you" she tested, gesturing to the metal leg. "Not to mention that was mine at one point" she snickered a bit. The further they got up, the colder it got. "I do wish we had brought some coats along with us" she said, swishing her tail over her flank

"Well, i could probably walk up the mountain, but i had an idea." Missy said, landing on the mountainside, keeping her wings up. "You sit in between my wings, and i put them around you to keep you warm, sound like a plan?" Missy asked, well expecting a no or something to do with her personal health.

'The only reason your not riding on some ponies back is because you've got wings, might I remind you" she tested, gesturing to the metal leg. Zeta gave a little laugh. "You do know we have coats on right?" He joked about that sentence, hoping to cheer Grand up a little from all this.

"Just because I complain, doesn't mean I want what I'm complaining about" she said, getting off her back. "I don't need to be swaddled" she mentioned as she stretched out her hooves and began climbing the mountain again. " I think I should be able to walk on my own for a bit, keep my legs from tending up on me" she said before heading up the mountain

"Okay....uh....right." Missy said, feeling kind of embarassed about that. "We should get there fairly soon....uh, yeah...." Missy continued, fumbling for words before deciding to pick Fire Horn up and fly up to the plateau.

"Um....we're here!" Fire Horn yelled, hooves up in the air, but quickly fell over because he was trying to stand on two hooves. Missy laughing ensued.

At one point when Stephan was climbing, he could hear a few rocks cracking under his weight. "Uh oh." The rocks gave out and broke, sending Stephan falling. He decided to take the risk and run up. After Stephan fell for a couple hundred feet, he pushed himself back towards the mountain and began running at sonic speeds upwards.

He noticed Grand get off Missy to continue climbing, so he pointed next to her. "Steel, go ahead and set me down right there. Don't question me or whatever, just do it."

Stephan ran up to the top of the mountain, struggling to keep up the pace without falling. He got to the top of the mountain, flipped through the air, and landed safely on the top. He then looked down at the others. "Phew. That was tough." He said, wiping some sweat off of his face. "You guys want me to come back down and get you? It'll be hard, but I'll do it."

He grabbed onto the rocks, getting next to Grand and looked back at Steel. "You know I left my armor on the ground, right? It's an upward climb, which will tire me fast if I wear that thing."

After settling beside her, he looked up and watched her climb. "Hey Grand. Why did you get off Missy there?"

"Oh, I just figured I would walk the rest of the way. I figured I should do at least half of the mountain myself" she said smiling. the rest of the walk wasnt as steep as before anyways. "I;m all rested up, so theres no need for Missy to carry me when I'm perfectly capable of climbing, I was just weighing her down"

He looked at her and gave a decent smile. She was making him happy again without even knowing it, and even so it was working on him. "You are just a determined girl, aren't you? I'd say you're not just best as a healer, but you like to compete as well. It's a good combination of personality i'd say."

"I suppose you could call me competitive, though I was more often referred to as stubborn. Its always been a flaw of mine" she said, stepping over a large chunk of ice. "Its more my pride that determines my competitiveness than anything else" she said with a laugh,

"Stubborn, huh? I've never looked at it that way, but now that you mention it.." He replied back, giving a pause and waited for her to step over the large chunk before continuing on. "I guess that's another trait we share, more or less. But it's not uncommon to know that girls are that way, since after all, my first wife was based off that."

"I suppose it must be something in most mares then" she laughed a bit. The mountain top had finally come into view. "Look! we are almost there, finally! I was beginning to think this mountain would never end" she said with a big smile. "I cant believe it. we actually made it!"

"So, how much further to the summit of the mountain?" Missy asked.

"Well, us non-winged ponies aren't going to like this." Fire said.

There was a big cluster of platforms and  rocks suspended over a large drop, which would mean certain death for anypony who fell.

"Sorry to disappoint, Grand, but we're not done yet." Missy said.
