Meanwhile in the hospital bed, Zeta continued to sleep until he woke up from a surge of weakness from his body. Slowly he looked around the room, noticing that nopony was there but saw a note on the desk beside him and grabbed it.

He read over it a few times before setting it back down and sighed. "Well, at least she's off to have some fun. But I just hope she's careful, since you never know if any bad pony might come out and take her.."

Grand walked into the club, admiring all if the decorations and lights. She heard the music and smiled. "My, this place is wonderful! It's a shame zeta couldn't be here to see it" she said before walking over to the bar. "I'll have one chocolate maretini please" she asked politely, grabbing the drink and returning to Missy. "This is much more my style" she said with a laugh, taking a sip

"I know, this place is one of the best in Canterlot." Missy noticed the drink Grand had. "It's a shame I can't join in, but it's probably for the best, we need to have at the very least one of us being sober, otherwise, who would take us back home." Missy chuckled at what she said.

Steel pulled out his flask and went to take another drink but then realized he was out "well then I guess I'll go see what try have to drink here" stell said as he walked to the bar "hey I want your strongest drink"steel said as he tossed some bits in the bar and took the clear drink he walked back to Missy an grand an took a drink "you know there strongest drink is about 120 prof"steel said

Stephan put his tie back on and began running to the club at a probably illegal speed rate. The suit chaffed him and it slowed down his running a little bit from a feeling of air loss. He felt relief once he got the club. He forcefully opened up the doors. "NOW THE PARTY CAN START!!!" He shouted.

Everyone began to cheer when Stephan entered, almost as if he were the one spark to set off an explosion of partying and alcohol.

"Hey Stephan, we're over here!" Missy shouted, waving at him in his suit and tie. "You're looking very good tonight. If only Fire dressed as well as you."

Grand laughed at Missy's comment before sipping on her drink. "Now we can really get started" she said smiling, though in the back if her head she felt guilty for leaving zeta alone in that hospital. "Let's go dancing, shall we?" She called to the group before making her way to the dance floor

"Hey Stephan was up man" steel said as be drained his glass " guys all your drinks are all on me tonight OK just tell then to put it in my tab by the way I'm going to go start a tab" steel said as he walked off to the bar got a new drink and started a tab then walked back "now just tell to out it in my tab"

Stephan smiled. "Heh. Looks like I CAN start a party." He said in a cocky tone. He walked up to the group and smiled at them. "Sure, why not? I feel like a little dancing will get my spirits up." He then noticed Grand in her party dress. "Oh my... you look astounding." He complimented.

"Sorry, I'm not gonna dance, It's very embarassing and often involves flying hooves and me falling over, so...." Missy said. "I'll just stay over here, keeping in control of my inhibitions." Missy was at a loss for what she would do, being pregnant was a bit of a drag.

Grand smiled at Stephan. "Thank you, though it's slightly ruffled from leaning over a hospital bed for so long. No matter, I'm going to enjoy this evening" she said, smiling at Stephan before doing a bit if dancing on the dance floor, though the prosthetic leg prohibited too much dancing

Missy once again had time to think, she blocked out the music and thought about her time with Twilight.

It was late at night, Missy was sitting at a table with a book she had found that interested her, it was titled: "Modern Implementations of Magical Energy in Equestrian Society." Twilight popped her head into the doorway.
"I never pinned you as a reader of books, Missy." Twilight said."Well, I just find this book quite interesting is all." Missy said."Don't stay up too much later, we're going to Canterlot tomorrow to see my brother." Twilight said before leaving to her bed.

Stephan looked at Grand's leg for a moment. It looked like she replaced it, since she gave the old one to Missy. He was planning on having Light Streak enhance it so it feels and looks like an actually pony leg. That is, if he could find him out there. But then, Stephan took his mind off of it, got out onto the dance floor, and breakdanced to the music.

The next morning Twilight woke up and didn't see Missy in her bed. Concerned, she went downstairs to see piles of books stacked on top of each other and Missy still at the table, but sleeping. Twilight tapped Missy on the shoulder.

"Huh? Twilight? What time is it?" Missy asked.

"It's morning, have you been reading all night?" Twilight asked. "It looks like one heck of a book party in here, one which you're gonna help clean up."

From afar, Zeta could see the lights out in the distance. It was fairly entertaining to hear everypony, though he really wanted to be there. That being said, it gave him time to think a little about what had happened before and now.

The changing problem..

It didn't feel right to think that but they were vulnerable to an attack by the queen. That is, IF they survived the apocalypse somehow being on a shortage of love. But even so, he knew Chrysalis would do anything to take over equestria, even if it meant becoming desperate.

It made Zeta a little worried about Grand more or less. He hoped if they did attack, that nothing too bad would happen to her if she was captured or anything. He sighed thinking that, since he was confined to this hospital bed with cancer instead of being outside to protect everypony.

But just hopefully like the chance of him living, he hoped that it wouldn't happen.

Missy decided to go to the bar to get a drink, not an alcoholic one hopefully.

"Got anything without alcohol in it?" Missy asked. The bartender looked up at her.

"Sure, I imagine there's a reason behind it? You pregnant or somethin'? The bartender asked.

"Yeah, I am. I know, what a bummer for me, greatest party since the Gala and I can't do anything." MIssy said.

"Wait, you're the one who went to Bruchellia and cured the plague aren't you?" He responded.

"Yes. But my other friends here were just as much part of it as me." Missy said.

Stephan stopped breakdancing and got up to the bar. He felt that while he was at this party, he might as well try his first alcohalic beverage, even though he might regret it later. He sat down next to Missy and spoke to the bartender.

"Hey, man. You have any cherry whiskey back there?" He then looked to Missy.

"If it makes you feel any better, I'm sorry for you not being able to really do anything at this party, Missy."

Grand walked back to her friends with a wide smile on her face, though she was still distracted, hoping that Zeta was okay. She walked over to Missy. "Once the baby is born we can have a grand celebration, I promise" she said cheerfully, finishing off her maretini

The bartender handed Stephan a non-alcohalic beverage of cherry and grape champagne, free of charge. He then gave it to Missy. "Something to lift your spirits. It's on me." He told her. The music began to change to a slower track.

Stephan then walked up to Grand, who seemed to be having a good enough time. "Would you like to dance?" he asked, holding out his hoof.

Missy picked the drink up, surprisingly with her hoof and drank a bit.

"Thank you, Stephan, that's very nice of you." Missy said, raising her glass.

 

Back in the house, Fire could see the lights of the party, he knew that Missy had probably gone to it.
He then looked in a newspaper and saw something that brought him off his hooves and he hurried to

the club as fast as he could.

Grand smiled and grabbed his hoof gently, though her mind was still preoccupied. "Of course, though I warn you, dancing has never been my strong suit" she laughed lightly, smiling. She was beginning to feel the alcohol as she followed Stephan out to the dancefloor

Missy took another sip of her drink, it was good, surprisingly good, she was starting to feel tired, like she could just fall asleep right there. It must be that late at night.

"My goodness I'm getting old." Missy thought.

 

Fire was running through Canterlot, trying to get to the club as fast as he could.

Steel bought three bottles of whisky and sat down at a table in the back corner and drank straight from the bottle and just enjoyed the music he even had a small smile on his face as he bobbed Hus head with the beat and watched everypony dance and have a good time
