Grand sighed. "Yeah, fires sure doing a good job, hmm?" She smiled. "Anyways, I hope you stay safe out there. I would go with you to help, but I have a lot of work to do here, these ponies need as much help as they can get" she smiled "thank you for coming to see me before you left though, it means a lot" she said happily

Stephan smiled. "I have no doubt you'll keep everypony here as happy and healthy as you possibly can. Oh, but before I go, here." He gave Grand a box with some white wrapping around. Inside it was a pearl necklace he made out of the pearls he found on the island while bringing Starburst back. "Be safe, Grand." He said, giving her a hug.

Grand smiled. "This is beautiful Stephan, it's such a wonderful gesture, but this necklace is worth a lot if money, it could go towards your trading. Use it to help the other ponies, it would mean more to me than the necklace itself." She said, hoping she didn't hurt his feelings. "It's these ponies we need to focus on right now, I promise it would mean the world to me if you used thus together supplies"

Stephan managed to keep the smile on his face. "I totally understand, Grand. Everything I used to make this necklace is priceless. It could earn us quite a few bits." He said, putting it back in his saddlebag. "Just make sure you and everypony here stays healthy and happy and I'll be back as soon as I can." Stephan lightly pecked Grand's cheek and began to walk outside. But, before going out, he turned his head to Grand. "Take care, Grand." He said, as he proceeded to the exit of the building.

Zeta turned and gave a nice wave back to Stephan. "See you later, I hope you come back soon!"

 

He watched as he slowly exited the building, disappearing after that and sighed. But even so, he didn't let it get in the way of things and looked at Grand, giving a smile.

"You do know, every doctor had it's nurse right?" He giggled. "Just tell me what you need for me to do, and i'll help you get whatever done."

Grand waved as Stephan left, hoping she didn't hurt his feelings. "I appreciate the help zeta, you can try your hand at medicine but I think you would be better at reparations. Of course, that's no reason to turn away a helping hand, let's go check on oneof the younger patients" she smiled, walking to a room with a young colt who had broken his leg

Grand waved as Stephan left, hoping she didn't hurt his feelings. "I appreciate the help zeta, you can try your hand at medicine but I think you would be better at reparations. "It is, a good idea." Zeta had replied, walking into the room with the colt on the bed. He was crying not too long ago from his broken leg, which he carefully looked at steadily.

"This is not too bad, but you can see where the little dent is on where the bone has cracked." He pointed to a spot on his left hind leg, showing where the leg had moved sideways a bit. "We would need a cast, and maybe something else to support this little child unless he isn't going to walk around."

Stephan strapped on his saddlebags and put on his new adventuring hat. He walked up to Fire Horn, who was busy with other things. "If you don't mind, I'm going to head out of town for a while. I'm going to the other side of Equestria to try to make trade agreements to the cities over in the area." He explained.

"We need to put out feelers, see what others have that we don't. I'd recommend going to Cloudsdale, we can get clean water from there." Fire said. "Also, be careful out there, there may not be trotters but we've still go problems."

Starburst put his hoof on Caramel's.

"I'll see you later, alright?" Starburst smiled and walked out of the room, feeling really happy.

Stephan smirked and let out a slight "heh." "Don't worry about me, Fire. You've got the rest of the town to worry about." Stephan got into a running position and was about to jet off to Cloudsdale. But, before leaving, he realized something. "Isn't Cloudsdale still in the sky? If it is, how am I gonna get there?"

Grand nodded. "That's the ticket zeta, I'll fit the cast now" she smiled, going over to the young colt with a warm smile

 

 

Caramel smiled and blushed a bit when starburst touched her hoof, but she hid it. "Umm, be careful out there, okay?" She said, hoping he wouldn't get hurt

Steel looked at Stephan "I got this one since I can't do anything here"steel said as he checked the chamber in the shotgun to make sure it was loaded "I'll be back soon with water and probably other supplies" steel said as he took flight and be flew towards cloudsdale "he once im done at cloudsdale I'll meet up with you Stephen"steel called

Stephan sighed and facehoofed. "Nevermind, Fire. If there's a problem, I'll take care of it." Stephan then jetted off next to Steel, who was heading off to Cloudsdale. "You're totally stealing this one from me, man. I need to get away from town for a bit." He said to Steel once he caught up. He then rocketed further to Cloudsdale.

"Alright, now this won't hurt at all, I'm just going to set your leg and start working on the cast, alright?" Grand said warmly, grabbing the little colts leg and gently setting it, then she began work on the cast. "You're pretty lucky, we have a whole bunch of stuff for making casts, and it should only be a few months until it fully heals" she said with a warm smile

Steel just laughed and yelled"you can't even get up to cloudsdale"steel flew along knowing he couldn't keep up with Stephan he had the shotgun out even if he had never used a fun before it would make bandits think twice about trying to rob him

It surprised Zeta for her to say that right then and there. "Wait, a few months? Then that would mean.." He looked to his own cast around his hoof and ribs. "This might take longer to heal up then what he has, but not to worry."

After saying that, he walked to the other side of the bed to comfort the colt. "Hey buddy. I hate to ask but, do you have any parents?"

The colt took a deep breath. "My daddy is really busy helping rebuild and my big brother is helping him. Daddy says my little sister and my mommy went away when the attack happened" he said quietly, wincing a bit when grand began to put the cast on. "Daddy visits me a lot though, so it's okay"

"That's good then." Zeta gave a little sigh of relief and smiled. "Once you're all fixed up, we'll let your dad know that you're here so he can come visit you again, right Grand?" He looked up to her, watching as she started to form the cast around his hoof. Meanwhile, he was happy that the colt still had somepony to take care of him instead of being an orphan. Who knows what they would do with him if he ended up as that.

Now be careful when your walking around, it's still pretty fragile, alright?" She said, then looking at zeta, "alright, all finished here. We'll be back later, alright little guy?" The colt nodded and smiled

"I would ask how many patients we have to take care of, but then that would ruin any surprises." Zeta spoke out, walking with his crutch out the door and waited for Grand to come follow.

"Lead me to our next patient." Then he paused and laughed a little bit. "Grandy.~"

Grands ears flattened. "Ahaha, yes you learned my nickname, congratulations" she said, her cheeks a little red. "Our next patient... Is Missy" she said with a smile. "That's good, I hope she's doing alright" she said, hoping the other doctors had taken good care of her. This would be the first time she would see her in the hospital

Stephan and Steel made their way to Cloudsdale. Suddenly, Light Streak flies down beside them. "First outing?" Light asked.

Stephan nodded. "We're heading to Cloudsdale to make trading agreements."
"But you can't get to Cloudsdale. You can't fly."
"Exactly. That's what you're for."
Light simply sighed and flew beside the two.

Grands ears flattened. "Ahaha, yes you learned my nickname, congratulations" she said, her cheeks a little red. "Our next patient... Is Missy" she said with a smile. "That's good, I hope she's doing alright" she said, hoping the other doctors had taken good care of her. This would be the first time she would see her in the hospital

His ears did the opposite, perking straight up. "Missy, huh. So we're going to have to check up on a pregnant mare I see?" He laughed again, going behind Grand to the next room. "I guess this would be the first time to ever do such a thing, well.. For you, maybe. I used to watch over my first wife in the hospital before she was going to have our baby, but that was all in the past now."

Missy was un-conscious, she had an oxygen mask on because she couldn't breathe properly on her own.

Starburst had sat down holding her hoof, making sure she was OK. Missy had 4 gunshot wounds on her ear, chest and foreleg. Starburst was asleep next to her, head resting on the left side of the bed.

Grand entered, looking at the injured missy and sighed. "How has she been doing starburst?" She asked, beginning to replace bandages and check her vitals. "Has there been any news on the baby? I'm going to check on her, but just so I know what's going on" she said, making sure everything was still working
