"So, after you get out of the hospital, you wanna go and hang out? Maybe get a drink or somethin'?"

"Eh... Alright, a drink sounds good." He replied happily, looking back to Stephan with a smile. "That might get my mind off things, and we'll finally get a good chance to do something after being practically close with eachother the whole entire time. Well, except for when I left for 8 years but still."

"Well, you're with Grand every waking moment. No wonder we never have time to hang out." He laughed a little. "Plus, you're hogging her from me. I thought we were competing fairly" He said in a joking matter. He then got up and began walking out of the room. "Get well soon, Zeta. I'll see you around." He said, as he walked out.

Starburst was lying on the ground with Caramel next to him, Starburst had 6 gunshot wounds. It was getting hard for him to breathe.

"Caramel...." Starburst reached out a hoof to her cheek.

Caramel looked at Starburst, refusing to break eye contact. She held his hooves tightly in hers as tears rolled down her cheeks, "Youre fine Starburst, I promise. You'll be okay" She said through tears. "Dont you dare give up on me, We can fix this" She said, putting her head on his, praying that by some miracle he would survive

Starburst put his head to the side, coughing up blood. He looked back round to Caramel, with very ragged breathing it was getting difficult to talk.

"Caramel, I need to tell you something......." Starburst closed his eyes and groaned in pain. He whispered something in Caramel's ear and kissed her, with a smile, he dropped to the ground, dead.

 
Missy was with Fire, crying into him.

Caramel Held his head in her lap, her eyes wet with tears and her hooves covered in blood. No... no, No, NO" She said, quietly at first, but gradually became a scream. Her head fell as she sobbed into his still warm but bloodied body. "Its not fair" She sobbed, her arms tightening around him.

Stephan raised Starburst's head up. He was dead, this time for real. His eyes began to water. "I'll never forget what you did for me, kid. I didn't even get to say goodbye." Stephan hugged Starburst's dead body. "I can't believe I let you die. I'm so sorry..." He began to tear up.

Steel sat a was off and watched the others he had no emotion on his face he say quietly he pulled out a flask and knocked back a drink of devils wine and let the others grieve

(Hey I said it was getting difficult to breathe, hence the coughing, and the bullets hit his lungs, hence the blood.I didn't say that he couldn't breathe.)

 

Missy walked over to Caramel.

"Come on, we have to go, we have to fix this." Missy said, attempting to pull her away from Starburst so that he could be buried.

"No, its not fair! He didnt deserve to die, its not fair!" Caramel screamed as Missy pulled her away. She was sobbing uncontrollably as she refused to take her eyes off his body

 

Grand watched her sister scream and her heart broke. She wiped her eyes and tried to forget her sisters piercing screams

Stephan put Starburst down and shut his eyes.

"Bury him. If I look at him, I'll just more sad..." Stephan walked over to Missy and Caramel, his head lowered so he couldn't see the damage that could've been prevented if he was more prepared.

"So, what now?" Stephan asked.

"We move on, we have to make everything better, so that he didn't die for nothing." Missy said, walking away from Starburst's body.

 

-7 and a half hours earlier-

 

Starburst and Caramel were in the kitchen, trying to make stuff, cupcakes mostly.

"I can't bake at all, look at these." Starburst levitated them out of the oven.

Caramel giggled. "Theyre not..... THAT bad" She said as she picked up one of them. It was just about rock hard. "Umm, we can always try again" She said as she placed the cupcake down. "Here, lets start another batch, Pinkie would be ashamed if we didnt make the best batch of cupcakes she's ever seen!"

Stephan ran through the town of Ponyville. He had heard that Grand recently got out of the hospital, so he planned to ask her if she wanted to spend some time together than day. Light Streak recently went on a research trip, so he had their newly rebuilt house to himself. He arrived at Grand's doorstep and rang the bell.

Grand walked sleepily from her room to a smoky kitchen. She looked over to see Starburst and Caramel baking.... something. She igonred it and opened the door. "Oh, good morning Stephan, I see youre up bright and early. It seems everyone is today, unless I just slept in later than I had thought"

In the time when Starburst was shot, Zeta was nowhere to be found. He was indeed, called up by the Princess to continue doing missions for her and was about to go out to do one.

He was up on the roof of the house, looking down to see Stephan at the door and jumped down beside him. "Hey Stephan, how's it going..?"

 

(( by the way, Zeta and Grand already talked about what happened and Stephano overheard it, so i'd think that the two had sex would make him pissed ))

Starburst laughed. "Yeah, sounds like a good idea, we can't do it any worse this time can we?"

 

Fire was in the town hall, he had gotten rid of the stubble and was now assisting Twilight in the preperations for Winter and Winter Wrap-Up, even though winter had only just started.

"Excuse me for a second, Grand." Stephan took Zeta to the back of the house. He immediately had an angry expression on his face and he pinned him against the wall. "What the fuck, man? Why did you have sex with Grand behind my back?" He said through gritted teeth.

Stephan looked over at Zeta and looked back at Grand.

"Excuse me for a second, Grand." Stephan took Zeta to the back of the house. He immediately had an angry expression on his face and he pinned him against the wall. "What the fuck, man? Why did you have sex with Grand behind my back?" He said through gritted teeth.

Zeta became a little shocked, but submitted and sighed. "Look, if you've already heard about it then we can set it aside for now. It's not my fault I had sex with her, since by then I was taken over by greed. You cant blame me for it Stephan, really. But i'm sorry that the so called demon had to take over my body and do such a thing."

He thought back to when Zeta was corrupted by greed, It made him cringe at the thought of it, but he tried to keep his cool. "I just can't believe your greed was strong enough to undergo sexual assault."

He thought back to when Zeta was corrupted by greed, It made him cringe at the thought of it, but he tried to keep his cool. "I just can't believe your greed was strong enough to undergo sexual assault."

"I really cant believe it either." He said, pausing a bit before putting a hoof on Stephan's shoulder. "I never wanted to believe it Stephan, but when she told me.. It was true. But think of the bright side, she never got pregnant from it which means there's no chance for abortion, and.. And..."

He hesitated on the last sentence, but was able to complete it. "And, you at least still get to compete for Grand with pride. If I had gotten her pregnant, I would of probably killed myself now since I know she wouldn't want me anymore.."

"Well, good, OK everypony, after the birds have been migrated, that's officially Ponyville prepared for winter." Fire said.
