"So you're saying there's an assassin on the loose? Why would anyone want to harm Pinkie Pie, she's a sweet heart" she said, now looking around worriedly

 

Caramel stayed quiet but kep her eyes open. She started charging up her magic in case anything were to jump at them.

"Dash, this guy left a long time ago. Right after I made 'trade agreements' with him, he flew back to the griffon kingdom. He's probably long gone by now." Stephan said. "But, he's probably not at the kingdom right now. He's probably out looking for Pinkie somewhere in the land. We need to find her before he does." He said, looking out into the horizon.

Starburst turned to her. "Put that out, the glow will only attract them to us." Starburst said. "Get on my back, it'll be easier that way."

 

"Then I'm gonna show that son of a bitch what I'm made of, nopony tries to kill one of my friends and gets away with it." Dash said, flying out of the town hall.

"Stephan, what's going on?" Fire said, walking over to him. "I thought we were making trade agreements with the griffons, now you want to kill them?"

Steel heard grand mention an assassin "so somepony put out a hit on pinkie do you know who accepted the job I know most of the contract killers that are in operation "steel asked hoping that he knew the assassin and how they worked

Stephan turned to Fire. "Fire, the griffon who tried to make these agreements with me is named Azrael. Apparently, he's a hired hitman who carries out the orders of Gilda. We suspect that she's put a price on Pinkie's head, which may be the cause of her recent disappearance." He explained. "We're going to search around to try to find Pinkie before Azrael does. If we don't, it could mean big trouble for her."

Caramel sighed and stopped before climbing into his back. She still stayed tense and ready to fight in case it came to that

 

Grand looked at the ponies around her. "I suppose that's what we so then. Let's organize a search party and find Ms. Pie quickly" she said, turning to Fire. "I'm sure you can get that ready, you are the leader after all"

Fire nodded at Grand. "Twilight."
"Already taken care of, Fire." Twilight said. Fire pulled her in for a hug.

"That is why, you are my number 1 assistant." Fire laughed.

Twilight looked away and chuckled, blushing a small bit.

 

Starburst slowly crept around the tree, he noticed the green eyes.
"It's two, it's two Timber Wolves, there's now way we're getting away alive." Starburst said. "We have to take them out."

Stephan had determination in his eye and he chimed in.

"I declare part of this party by default." He said with a smirk. "If we're gonna find Pinkie Pie before this guy does, we'll need to do it quickly. Since 'quick' is pretty much my middle name, I would like to join this party."

"Alright, let's do this " caramel whispered with a nod. "Ready when you are" she said, targeting one of the timberwolves

 

Grand nodded. "Well, I'll join the search party. Where should I start?" She asked sternly, glad to help look for Pinkie. "Perhaps I'll check around ponyville in case she's still here"

Steel heard who the assassin was he hung his head "no no no..."steel muttered " this is not good"steel knew who he was and how good he was at killing "guys we need to look for azarel then we need to look for him not pinkie"steel said "and pray that pinkie hasn't been killed"

"Alright, let's do this " caramel whispered with a nod. "Ready when you are" she said, targeting one of the timberwolves

 

Grand nodded. "Well, I'll join the search party. Where should I start?" She asked sternly, glad to help look for Pinkie. "Perhaps I'll check around ponyville in case she's still here"

In the back came a pony, and that pony was a specific blue pony that had met with Grand not long ago. She pounced behind her and gave a great big hug, nuzzling her mane. "Wussup? So I heard something about a search party going on, and I feel like joining in since they're really important. Who's the one missing?"

"If she was here, we'd know about it." Fire said. "She must have run and she's hiding somewhere, we'd best not let Dash get....." Fire looked around, panicked. "Where's Rainbow? She was just here."

 

Starburst hesitated, a timber wolf should never be taken on head-first, never mind two.

"Alright, we need to seperate them, I hate to do this, but you need to distract one of them. Since there's two of them, if there are two sources of food, they'll have to split up."

Grand stumbled and fell from the sudden extra weight. "Yes, pinkie's gone missing Moon, we need to find her" she said, brushing the snow off her coat. "Rainbow Dash probably went to go organize some Pegasi or something"

 

Caramel nodded and without another word she ran out if the tree, her horn shining bright. The timberwolves turned to her and got ready to pounce as Caranel took off running

Starburst took a deep breath, he ran in the opposite direction luring the timber wolf away. He hoped to Celestia that nothing bad happened to Caramel. He hid behind a tree, the timber wolf was getting closer. He climbed up the tree and held onto it.

"Alright, come to Starburst." Starburst jumped down on top of it. The wolf threw him away in front of it, giving him a cut on the back hind leg and chest. The timber wolf jumped onto him and slashed his face, he used the fire spell and set fire to it. It backed away.

 

Missy arrived at the town hall.

"Wow, how'd you get here before me?" She asked.

Stephan sighed. He couldn't believe she left without letting Fire finish up things.

"I guess my first order of business is to go find Rainbow Dash. Maybe me and her will go along with each other. It'll be just like old times." Being a huge hypocrite to what he thought at first, he jetted off to find RD.

Caramel ran through the trees, darting into tight spots when she could. The timberwolf followed closely behind as she ran. The timberwolf lunged at her and but her in the leg, causing Caranel to kick him off, followed by a burst of magic at him. It was enough for her to gain some ground on the timberwolf

Starburst got quickly to his hooves, but fell over because of the pain in his legs. The forest was beginning to burn around him. He was trapped, useless and unable to walk, he was helpless.

 

Dash was flying quickly around Ponyville, trying to find any pegasus available. There was none. She found Stephan

"Why are you here? I'm just investigating something." Dash asked.

 

Fire looked to the group.

"Pinkie Pie is your friend more than she is mine, let's be honest, I do care about her, but I won't be going along with your search party, I have a town to run." Fire turned to Missy. "And you, are in no condition to be hunting assassin's."

Caramel turned around to see a fire in the forest. "Dammit" she mumbled before running towards it, hoping she had lost the timberwolf, though it was unlikely. The smoke from the fire was beginning to get thicker as she ran closer

 

Grand nodded. "I'll go ask Applejack, perhaps some of her relatives knows where she went, would you like to come moon?"

Steel chuckled "the best way to catch an assassin is to hire on yourself lucky for you in won't charge you guys"steel said "I'll hunt down the assassin you ponies look for pinkie"

"CARAMEL!" Starburst yelled, his lungs getting filled with smoke, the more he tried the breathe. "CARAMEL! I'm *cough* over.....here." Starburst felt the grips of unconciousness take hold of him.

 

"Right, you do that Steel, if you find Azrael, it is most likely you will find Pinkie too." Fire said.

"Applejack has become closer with Pinkie Pie ever since they went on that trip together." Twilight said.

Moon turned to Missy from her voice with a smile and gave a sweet hug to her.  "I just flew fast over here, since I heard something about something which led me over to find out that Pinkie's gone missing. You didn't rush here, did you?"

"right and a description would be useful and any information about him "steel said " anything could be useful" still grabbed a Quill and paper and waited for an answer hopefully this hunt would go better then hits hunt for demonblood

Stephan smirked. "You know I can't keep my nose out of anything." He said with a slight 'heh' "Why don't we go and search for Pinkie together? It'll be just like when we were teenagers when we adventured together." He then turned to Steel. "Sure, Steel. You can come if you want."

Caramel ran over to Starburst as soon as he cane into sight. "I'm here Starburst, it's okay" she said, hearing the timberwolf walking through the smoke. Knowing Starburst wouldn't be able to walk, she picked him up with her magic and began running

 

Grabd nodded. "Alright, I'll head over there then" she said, leaving the group to head out to sweet apple acres

"Yeah, just like old times." Dash noticed smoke rising from the Everfree Forest. "We've got a forest fire! Stephan, gather any winged ponies you can find, get Missy and Twilight too." Dash looked off at the fire, there might be somepony in there, she started flying towards it.

 

Starburst was barely conscious at this point, he soon went unconcious and his breathing started slowing as smoke filled his lungs.
