"Red unicorn? Well, not here, but the first place I would check is the Inn. If I dont know who it is, she's probably new to town. thats my best bet" The Bartender said as he cleaned the counter. He gave him his drink and went back to work

 

Grand had woken up and was getting ready, considering going home. She didnt like being away from Ponyville, and especially away from Caramel

Starburst shook himself awake, and walked over to the bed, he didn't want Caramel thinking he hadn't gotten any sleep, that would just make her worry. He slid in to the bed next to her.

 

Fire sat up straight, he had a hangover, somehow....did he get drunk last night?

Stephan nodded and smiled.

"Thank you, sir" Stephan guzzled down his shots and left the saloon. He proceeded to the inn and went up to the front desk

"Good morning, ma'am." He greeted the mare at the desk. "Has a Grand Finale resided in this inn recently?" He asked.

"We do have one resident signed in as Finale, her room is on the second floor." The innkeeper said, checking her book. "Room 202" She pointed towards the stairs,

 

Caramel woke up and yawned, looking at Starburst, who was fast asleep. She got up and went to the kitchen to make some breakfast

Zeta was in bed, whimpering now. He missed Grand dearly, only thinking that something horrible happened to her. Because of her being gone, it made him feel like nothing. Almost anyone could pick on him and he would be left defenseless, not willing to fight anymore.

 

Zeta rarely got out of bed, and when he did, all he would do was cry and get back in. He didn't eat anything for the past 12 hours, and didn't plan to until she ever came back.

Maybe if I die, then i'll be able to see my Grand again...

Fire noticed Caramel walking by.

"What happened last night? I don't know, last thing I remember is......" Fire said. "Oh celestia!"

 

Starburst rolled out of bed crashing onto the floor and getting up, shaking himself awake and coming out into the living room.

"Dad, are you OK?" Starburst asked.
"I went crazy, I'm sorry if I scared any of you." Fire said.

"Thank you, ma'am." Stephan began walking upstairs and walked through the halls. Eventually he came to room 202 and knocked on the door.

 Light walked out of his house and made his way to Fire's place. He opened up the door to see Fire, stunned.

"What's wrong, Fire? Is everything okay?" He asked.

Caramel looked at Starburst closely. "You didnt get a lick of sleep did you!" She sighed then looked at Fire. "It doesnt matter, you seem fine now."

 

Grand heard the knock and figured it was someone coming to retrieve her. She sighed and opened the door. "Yes, Hi Stephan. Are you here to bring me back, because I just unpacked. Its going to take a while to pack everything up again" She said tiredly

"No, Grand. You can take your time. I just want to talk to you." Stephan said to her, head lowered. "It's something I've been wanting to tell you for quite a while now. And I don't think I'll be able to live happily again if I don't tell you. May I enter so I can explain myself?

"No, I didn't I was too busy trying to take care of my drunken dad.", he reached for the back of his head, feeling pain there.

"What happened?" Fire asked.

"Well, I tried to stop you from getting alcohol, then you pushed me into the corner of a table, i went unconscious for like, half an hour." Starburst said.

"Oh Celestia, I'm out of control." Fire said. "Hi, Light, how are you this morning?"

Caramel sighed. "You go get some sleep Starburst, I'm going to go check on everyone else. Ive got a feeling Zeta's not going to be doing so wel" She said, heading out the door. "I'll be back soon". Caramel walked to Zetas house and knocked on the door. "Zeta, are you there?" She called

 

Grand nodded. "Sure Stephan, come in. You can tell me whatever you would like" She said, closing the door behind him

"How am I this morning? How are YOU this morning??" Light asked. "You did a lot of crazy shit last night, Fire. You blew up the fight club, knocked your son out, and killed 71 ponies in the process." He then walked up to him and put a hoof on his shoulder. "So, how are YOU doing, my dear friend?"

 Stephan sat across from her.
"You know I love you, right?" He asked. "Well, I'm sorry, Grand, but... I'm moving on. Zeta has won you, and I just need to move on and accept it. I never really even had a chance with you, anyways. I'm a stallion with no dating experience whatsoever, and you're a beautiful, smart, likable mare. It's like a Queen Chrysalis trying to make peace with the princesses. It just can't happen." He got up and pecked Grand lightly on the cheek. "I hope you and Zeta are happy together. If you're happy, then I'm happy." He said, giving a smile. "Come back whenever you feel is best. There's no rush." He said, beginning to leave.

Grand smiled. "I'm glad you are moving on. Thank you for telling me, I hope you find a mare thats deserving. I'll be home, I promise. I just need some time alone is all" She said warmly. "Oh, can you please tell Caramel I'm sorry? She's probably just livid with me." She asked before he left

"Hungover, that's how I'm feeling. Can somepony take me to the hospital? I need to be with Missy." Fire said. 

Starburst walked out and went to Caramel's room, he then lay in the bed and fell asleep instantly.

"I really hope I didn't hurt anypony else in my vendetta."

Zeta didn't answer, and instead just moaned in sadness under the covers. He tried to tell her to go away, but the words never came out right and instead was a, "Come, in... Here, I, NEED, help..."

Caramel rolled her eyes and went in to see him sulking in bed. She looked at him. "What are you doing? have you moved from that bed since last night?" She said, flicking on the light. "Quit sulking and get up, its a beautiful day outside, and you should be enjoying it"

"NO!" He yelled out loudly to Caramel, not caring a bit and curled up into a ball underneath the blanket. "My Grandy, she's gone.... Where is, she..? I don't know, you don't either, SO I DONT CARE!!" Zeta began crying right after, acting like a total drama queen.

Steel finished the bottle and ordered another he planned to drink his got away and never have to deal with anything besides alcohol and the bartender he went to the back corner and drank some more hoping the ones that knew of him would not bother him

Stephan turned around and nodded.
"I will do just that, Grand." Stephan walked up to her and hugged her. "Thank you for hearing me out, Grand. I can live again. I hope you end up with a stallion that you'll love forever. That is, if you haven't already found that in Zeta." He said, smiling.

"Sure, I'll take you." Light said with a sigh, walking out of the house.

"Oh for celestias sake" She mumbled, walking over to the bed. "Look, Grands been gone for not even 24 hours. She packed up her bags, which means she let voluntarily. She probably just needed a break, and this kind of behaviour isnt gonna make her want to come back" She said, pulling the blankets off. "Your acting like a child, now brush your mane, we are going to go for a nice long walk. Its a beautiful day, so quit sulking" she said, giving him tough love

 

Grand smiled and hugged him back. "I suppose we'll see"

Fire heard Zeta whinging again.
"Hold on a minute, I have to deal with something." Fire got up and walked to Grand's room, finding Zeta on the bed, he flipped the matress. "Who are you? Who is this pony who's replaced Zeta, a snivelling wreckage of a pony, stop complaining you whiny, pathetic baby, and grow up." Frie walked out again.

Zeta covered his face until Fire ended up flipping him off the bed. He landed with a thud, but slowly stood up and wiped his tears away. "A-alright, fine... I'll go with you.." He said, this time a little relieved that Grand wasn't dead. "It's just that, I thought... The explosion, if she was in it or not.. I'm sorry Caramel, I really am.."

Caramel turned and stared at fire. "I had it under control Fire, go see Missy" She said, then turned to help Zeta up. "Theres a difference between tough love and blatant rudeness" She then put the mattress back the right way. "Now lets go for a walk Zeta, The sun is nice and bright, you need some sun anyways"

Stephan smiled and let go of Grand.

"I guess I'll see you... whenever, Grand." He said with a small laugh. He ran out of the inn and proceeded back to Ponyville. He felt as if a ten-thousand pound weight was just taken off of his back. He could live again.

In a few moments, Light escorted Fire to the hospital.

"Well, do your thing, Fire. I'm going to go help out in building the theatre." He said, flying back outside.

Caramel turned and stared at fire. "I had it under control Fire, go see Missy" She said, then turned to help Zeta up. He nodded while looking down, but in an instant he grabbed his stomach as it rumbled deeply. "Urrgh... That, reminds me.. I never had lunch or dinner yesterday, is there any food..? Then we'll go outside, I promise you.."
