Cara sighed. "Thanks. Yeah, but its been happening alot lately. Im involved with some pretty important people I guess" She said, scratching her neck. "But maybe I shouldnt let my mouth run. I guess its a good thing you were there when you were." She said, a little guilty at being so stupid. "My big mouth gets me in a lot of trouble it seems"

 

Greta laughed awkwardly. "Ahe, yeah. So anyways, How about this one" She said, holding up a figure flattering littleblack dress. "Its a classic"

"I don't think Black goes well with my hair, or my skin for that matter." Missy said, how about something with flowers and/or yellow." Missy clapped her hands together.

 

"Alright, do you need any help getting back home? I suggest you do it now, if you're in deep with the wrong people, they'll come after you." Frank said.

"Kid, that's absurd." Stephan said, turning to him. "If this one is going to potentially harm this girl, we have to stop it from happening in the first place." He walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Death is the ultimate consequence. One thing about being a hero is going out of your way to help those that are in danger, no matter who they are."

Cara was quiet for a minute. "Uh, would you mind... walking me home? I guess maybe I should listen better. I dont really want to be attacked again, and you have a gun, so... yeah" She said awkwardly

 

Greta smiled. "Oh, flowers are my favorite! I just assumed we were going to some crazy nightculd. Most of my dresses arent suited for the nightlife scene" She said, digging through her closet before pulling out A pretty white halter top dress with red and green flowers. "Nice and christmassy" she said happily

Stewart looked out of a window, he shrugged off Stephan's hand.

"I want to. I want to do anything and everything in my power to make sure nothing bad happens to her, but I can't do that." Stewart said. "I worry, and I worry, and all I get from Cara is just.... nothing, she doesn't care that I'm risking my life, being out in the open to make sure she's safe."

 

"I'm sure me and him have a future together, marriage is something we can't discuss quite yet." Dash stroked Sirius' hair. "Now, I think we can watch movies, wanna watch one? Figure out how this thing works." Dash referred to the DVD Player.

 

"No problem." Frank said. "In fact, I'd be glad to get you out of this cold, city's been getting dangerous." Frank gestured for her to lead the way and took out the gun.

 

"Oh, that's great. We should probably watch ourselves though. It's late, and New York isn't exactly safe at night." Missy said, taking the dress.

"Well, I know a cute little jazzy bar if you want, nothing too crazy" She said happily, pulling out a black polkadotted dress in the same style as Missys. "Its not too far away either"

Sirius looked over to the DVD player, then back at Dashie and nodded. "Sure! And i'm glad you have a biiig chance at you two having a future together!" Then the naked filly walked over, looking around at it before thinking a bit. "Well.. Here is a power button right now.. And the wires, links to..? What does Component mean?" Meanwhile pressing the power button as it turned on. The input wasn't set, and there was no movies inside yet.

"You think many people care that I'M out there risking my life?" Stephan asked him. "Most people think that Law Enforcement will take care of all of the problems. Truth is, our law system is probably one of the worst out there. There are assassins out there, but what do they do? Absolutely nothing. That's when people like you and me must rise to the occasion, no matter what anyone says about it."

"Name's Frank, Frank Evans, you seem like a nice kid, I'm sure my son would like you." Frank said, smiling.

 

"Sounds good, now, I think you should leave so I can get ready. Or is there somewhere I can get changed?" Missy asked.

 

"You're damn right we do." Stewart said, putting his mask on. "Come on, I'm sure you can keep up with me." Stewart  grabbed the sides of his cloak and jumped out of the window, gliding across to the ground.

 

"Right, kiddo, you should get dressed." Dash said. "At least get some kind of underwear on."

Steven Sat quitely he had been noticed at all he lit another cigar and puffed it " well I'll just sit here and let you two do what ever not like I could help out oh wait that's right I can " Steven called as Stewart jumped out "this is why I hate people " Steven said as he puffed

"Um.. Okay." Sirius replied. She was looking around at the back of the TV with her body bent over, so there was a good view of her.. Yeah. Anyways, so she stood back up and went back to the bed to put some underwear on, meanwhile bringing out Dash's as well. "Here! I think daddy would want us having this on. Anyways, what's this?" She picked up a remote for the TV.

Cara stopped dead in her tracks. "Did you just say Evans? Your last name is Evans, you have a son..." Cara looked around her. "No, you cant be with me, Thanks for taking me this far, but you need to go. Ive gotten enough people in trouble already" She said, getting a bit panicked. "Please dont ask any questions, just find somewhere to stay. Do you have enough money for a hotel? Here, I have a job,theres a cheap motel down the street, take this and get a room, dont use your real name" Sh said, shoving some money into his hands

 

Greta smiled. "I can go change in the bathroom, and once your changed I'll do your hair too" she said happily, walking out of the room and closing the door behind her

Ghost nodded and vaulted out the window. He didn't have a cape, so he couldn't glide in the slightest. But, his agility made running up walls and jumping from building to building real easy. The two ran through the bright nighttime city of Manhattan, hoping to find the next assassin.

"Alright, we're only out here to protect the night, watch out for crime." Stewart said. "We help people right? Well, we can help people at night, when they're at their most vulnerable. We've made a name for ourselves. Most won't even bother. But sometimes, one or two are out."

 

"Look, whatever has happened to you, I want to know what my son has to do with this." Frank said.

 

Missy began to take off her clothes and replace it with the dress, it looked nice, it really suited her.

"How do I look?" Missy asked.

"No, I cant. Please, just go before something happens to you, I dont need you to be put in danger because of me, really, I promise your son is fine, just worry about you" She said, getting worked up. "Stay safe" Cara said, before turning the other way and walking away quickly. Once she turned the corner, she sighed and ran her fingers through her hair and held in tears. If she went home she was putting her sister in danger. She couldnt go anywhere without risking other's lives.

 

Greta quickly pulled her dress on. before walking back into her bedroom. "Just fabulous, now lets do something with your hair" She said, motioning towards the bathroom

Frank turned around and waked to the motel she was talking about. Rented a room and fell asleep for the night, still thinking about Cara and what she knew.

 

Missy walked towards the bathroom and looked around.

"Thank you, I don't really get to do girly things anymore." Missy said.

"I do them far too often. I mean think about it, wearing a dress in december is ridiculous" She laughed, pulling out a curling iron and plugging it in. "I'll just curl it for now, I do updos far too often anyways"

 

Cara sat down on a bench and crossed her arms. She didnt want to go home and risk putting anyone in danger, but she didnt want to stay outside and risk her own safety. She sniffled to herself, feeling very lost and confused

"Heh. Listen, kid, this isn't my first rodeo. I know what there is to expect." Stephan said, making a great leap from a large gap between two buildings. "I've seen some really intense shit. Probably more intense than anything you'll experience while taking on this persona."

Stewart looked down, he saw someone he knew on a bench.

"It's Cara, I'm going to go and see her, I have to talk to her." Stewart said, slowly gliding down to the side of her. "Cara, what are you doing here all alone?" Stewart asked her, walking over to the bench.

 

"Yeah." Missy giggled. "I just want a friend, you know, one that I can do girly stuff with, like.....this." Missy sighed. "But, my upbringing didn't really support such a lifestyle."

Cara didnt turn to face him. "I met your dad today. He saved my life. He's a really nice man" She said, looking down at her hands. "But now he's in danger because he was with me, I told him to go to a hotel and hide, but it might not be enough. That person that attacked to me saw him" She said, sniffling. "I'm a walking disaster and all I do is put people in danger. I'm sorry"

 

Greta smiled, taking the curling iron and began curling her hair. "I made do, even when we didnt have much. Through college I wore hand me downs that my mom left behind" She said, realizing what she just said. 'Uh, but it doesnt really matter, I make plenty of money for my sister and I to afford nice things"

Stewart knelt down next to her and took off his mask.

"Don't blame yourself, if anything you should be blaming me." Stewart said. "Now, we need to get you somewhere safe. Come with me back to the safe house. You can phone your sister and tell her you're alright from there." Stewart took a deep breath. "I'm going to regret this later, but Cara, there's just one thing I need to say to you."

 

"Well, I have nothing of my parents." Missy said. "And I'm sure I don't want to. How can someone just leave their child in the middle of Texas, nothing, not even a note."

"I would like to know the same thing" Greta said, putting her focus on Missy's hair. "You have very nice hair, by the way" She said, working on it quite easily

 

Cara looked up at him. "Lets get to the safehouse first, You just took off your mask, we shouldnt stay here for too long" She said, standing up. "I dont want you to get hurt" She said, wiping her eyes discreetly

"Don't worry, it'll only take a minute, probably less", He went closer to her and kissed her, then backing away, he put his mask on.

"Alright, follow me."

 

Missy smiled and blushed.

"Thank you, like I said, no-one tells me I look beautiful anymore. and I don't know why." Missy said.

Cara was taken by surprise. "I, Uhmm, okay, yeah" She said, following him, hoping no one had seen Stewart without his mask on

 

Greta smiled. "well thats a shame" She said, finishing off her hair. "There, nothing too fancy, but its quite flattering" She said, flicking off the curling iron. "I think my hair will stand for tonight" She said, adjusting a few loose locks in the mirror

Stephan jumped down from the building he was on and landed next to Stewart and Cara.

"Is this the girl you were telling me about before we headed out, kid?" Stephan asked him. He then turned to Cara "It seems like you've been through a bit over the past couple of days. Well, don't worry. I'm with Watcher."
