Once everypony was ready, Zeta begun the trek to Canterlot with everypony. He didn't have the element on him, but Missy explained to him that you don't need the element with you to summon it. Of course, if you do, then he could always run back into the secret room to grab it. But anyways, he began running with everypony to the castle. "C'mon, we have to go now!"

 

But the guards stopped the guys, as he listened to what one had to say. He shook his head to talk. "Let us in, we have to check, now."

"Alright pal, but it's your funerals." The guard said, letting them pass.

 

They all continued their journey to Canterlot.

 

 

"Oh yes, come to me my pretties, I will get you, eventually, just like I did your princesses." Chrysalis said as she watched them through a crystal ball.

Stephan took off with the others in a flash. He used his natural speed to help pick up the pace, which let him get ahead of the group by several feet. When they eventually got to the castle, what was before them was a Canterlot Castle nearly in absolute ruins.

"Quick, start fighting me." Chrysalis said. The guards turned back into changelings and hit her with magic blasts, making Luna yell in pain.

 

"Princess Luna!" Missy yelled, she pushed the doors open with her magic when she heard Luna yell. "Where did it come from?"

"She's probably in the holding chamber. We need to get down there!" Stephan yelled, beginning to make his way to the prison cells. However, before Stephan could so much as lift his hoof, an army of changelings surrounded the group. Faster than you could blink, every single one of them morphed into one of the members of the group, honing their abilities in the process.

Zeta watched from the back as he got into his stance. From the corner of his eye, he looked and saw Luna being attacked, which got him angry. "LUNA!!!" He screamed out as he did his best to hold back. By then he was steaming, and was having a hard time to control himself. "Grrr-rrr, those.. Bastards.."

"Okay, we can do this. Just remember, they're all changelings." Missy said.

"Just remember, they're all changelings," Her clones repeated back to her.

They all jumped at her, she used the element to blast them all away, temporarily

stunning them.

 

Luna kicked the two changelings with her back legs.

"Take that." Luna yelled, smirking, then whispering to the changelings. "Move Luna from the dungeon to somewhere more......remote."

The Stephan clones all exchanged a smirk towards the real one, with the real Stephan exchanging one right back. The clones all began to make a circle around him and began running in that circle. With good timing, Stephan threw a series of fast hooves to the faces of his copies, causing them to skid backwards and knocking their behinds to the ground.

Grand looked around at the copies, scowling at their mocking her stumble. "I'll show you, you in cultured heathens!" She yelled, casting a spell that dealt some pretty brutal damage to the clones of her, "how many of these copies are there?" She yelled out, unsure which ones were her friends and which ones were fakes

Missy backed away and bumped into Grand.

"Grand, what do we do?" Missy yelled. "There's too man..." The fake Grand then dived at her, Missy was struggling to get her off as it was about to hit her with some kind of spell.

 

Fire dived at the real Stephan, not knowing it was the real one and lifted his hoof to hit him.

Grand turned to see the fake Grand in too if Missy and kicked her off, helping Missy up. "Alright, at least I've found one of you" she said, noticing a Fire jumping for a Stephan and assumed Fire was a changeling. She quickly fired a shot at Fire.

 

Caramel pouted on the couch as she cradled Glint, mad at being left to foalsit while everyone went to save the world

Fire ignored Stephan after being hit by Grand, assuming it was a changeling, he charged at her, loocking horns.

"Hit me and get away with it, I don't think so." Fire sai, but Missy pushed him away.

 

"Fire, stop, I just realised how we can tell who is who." Missy said, pointing to their elements. Fire stopped and blinked, he looked at Grand's element. "Oh, sorry about that, but you hit me, so I was a little angry."

Stephan kicked the real Fire off of him and began beating down on his face.

"Get off, faker!" Stephan exclaimed to him. At that moment, seemingly a thousand Fire clones began to surround the two. all of their horns began glowing at the same time. They were about to cast a flame spell on the two.

Grand looked at Fires element and looked at him, embarassed. "Oh, heh heh, um terribly sorry about that" she said, kicking a Zeta changeling behind her. "I guess we could have figured that out earlier" she said, watching around the trio for any sneak attacks. "How many of these... Mongrels are there?"

"I don't know, but I don't think the elements are going to help us right now." Missy said.

"Why would you say that?" Fire asked.

"Well, I don't exactly have a spell for that kind of purpose, I only know the one to banish evil, you know, the rainbows?" Missy said.

 

Meanwhile, Starburst was busy flying about, dodging spells cast by his clones.

The Fire Horn clones combined their magic of fire conjuration to make a ginormous ring fire around the two stallions. They charged up the ring of fire and, well, fired it at the real Fire Horn and Stephan. Stephan couldn't see much of a way out of this. He simply closed his eyes and waited for the unavoidable.

Before anything could happen to his friend though, there was Zeta,in his freaking heavy as hell triple plated steel armor. He jumped in front of the two, making like a heat resistant shield for them, but his armor was getting quite hot. "Get out of here you idiot!" Edited November 29, 2013 by Milk Wave

A Grand clone had almost snuck up on Grand until Starburst flew down and kicked it's head into the ground.

"Alright, what do we do? There's too many to fight, we'll die of exhaustion before they do." Starburst said.

"I don't know any spells using the elements. I can't do anything to help." Missy said. "But if one you do."

"Nope." Fire and Starburst said.

Stephan began running at the Fire Horn clones and kicking them into the walls.

"I could personally beat down on these fools all day, but it's gotta end eventually." Stephan said. "Maybe if we combine all of the elements' power, it'll trigger a spell that couldn't be done without them all together."

"I think there might be something..." Missy said, focusing her magic and funneling it from her horn into the element. "Everypony quick, the elements." A stream of rainbows came from the element and passed through the jewels of the others.

 

Luna flew from the throne room and landed with a crash.

Missy nodded as the element reacted strongly to the magic, it sent out a large shockwave which immobilised all the changeling clones and turned them into changelings again. Luna smirked secretly as she realised she was still Luna.

"Thank you everypony, we do not know what we would have done, if you weren't here to save us." Luna said.

"Thank you everypony, we do not know what we would have done, if you weren't here to save us." Luna said.

After the battle was quite over, Zeta rushed over to Luna (( taking off his armor first, since it's red hot from the fire )) and gave her a big hug. "Luna! Oh Luna, thank you that you're alive... Did we get to the castle just in time? The guards almost got you if they weren't discovered.."

Stephan smirked, but he was also incredibly tired. That sequence was cool, but it left him worn out.

"Heh... no sweat, Luna." Stephan said, walking up to the Princess. Something about the Princess didn't feel correct, though. He just couldn't quite put his hoof on it.

"Oh but it is." Luna said. "As I recall, Zeta said to me you were having troubles with each other, I'm surprised the elements still worked."

"I never though about it like that." Missy said. "I guess we don't really understand the elements enough to make that kind of assumption."

"Indeed." Luna turned to Zeta. "It's very nice to see you, really it is, but I've still got to look for Tia."

Stephan stepped up closer to the princess, hoping he'd figure out why he was feeling the way he was about her. 

"Listen, Princess, when there is a call to arms, I don't carry past events with me into battle. The only thing that matters is the task at hand." He said.

"Yes, and the task at hand is finding my sister. Even though she put me in the moon for a thousand years, I still love her, and I'll do anything to get her back." Luna said. "I just don't know where we would even start."

 

-Underneath Canterlot Castle-

 

The real Luna woke up feeling very cold, she looked around her wondering where she was, she couldn't remember a thing, only the word Luna stuck in her mind, so she assumed that was her name.
