"Hey, I did it because it was worth a shot. Electron's the only unicorn here anyways." He said, looking around until he found the crying boy on the ground. Then Antares picked him up, giving a little hug to comfort him down.

 

Auria still sighed a bit. The only problem was, she has very hard times keeping balance when she can't see, so she could only get two feet in front of her before stumbling back and fell on top of Cloud. "Woah! Whew... Whoops.."

"Okay, you're the smart one, Sand. Try and find us a way out of this." Sky said. fumbling through the dark and bumping into somepony. "Antares, is that you?"

"I can't find a way out of this, I can't see idiot." Sandy argued. "But I think I had a lantern in my saddlebag, it broke when we fell."

Cloud smirked at Auria and picked her up off of his back like a Prince rescuing a Princess. He then put her back down on the floor on her hooves. It was obvious that he was just trying to show off, just like his father and his grandfather. It just seemed to run in the family.

"Well, now what do we do? We can't exactly find our way back to the entrance, the door closed on our way down." Sky said.

"Well, our best bet would be for Electron to make another light spell." Sandy said, walking to where he though the door was, he put his hoof on it, six pictures began to glow. "Guys, come over here and touch the door."
Sky came over and put his hoof on the door.

Starburst was at his home in Ponyville, he was sitting in a chair, reading the newspaper, he was wearing glasses, he now needed them to read. He put down the paper and sighed, just the day before, he had been to see Missy, she was in bad condition, the doctors were saying she wouldn't live much longer, about 2 weeks or so. He had distanced himself from everypony since then.

 

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

"It's probably for you, Caramel!" Starburst shouted.

Auria tried balancing again until the light turned on. She giggled a bit, then smiled. "Thanks Cloud, heh.. If you weren't there, then I might of hurt myself."

 

Antares just gave a laugh and walked to his sister, nudging her. "You should totally go for him, you know~?" But it was responded with a slap to the face.

 

"Pfft, yeah right. That was just an accident." She replied, then nuzzled him. "Anyways, lets go touch that door since apparently it's lighting up now. You ready Cloud?"

 

She walked with him to the door, giving a nice touch as she felt something warm. Antares and Electron followed behind, going up to touch them as well.

Moon had heard about Missy being ill, so she quickly ran to the hospital as fast as possible. Soon, she entered, going around until she found her room.

Then she gave a little sigh, before entering slowly. "Missy..? It's me, Moon.. Are you alright dear?"

Missy had been thinking about her life that day, she didn't want to stay in the hospital and die like that, but she was unable to walk unassisted and when she did, she couldn't make it more than about 40 metres before she was too tired to go anymore, she just wanted her friends to be there with her.

She heard Moon enter the room.

"Moon.....it's so good to see you." Missy said tiredly.

Moon came into the room, closing the door before breaking down in tears. She went up to Missy and gave her a nice hug, trying her best not to cry.  "C-Celestia... What, happened..? I know you're in such a bad condition, but.. Please, please get better Missy.. You know I love you.."

Missy shook her head lightly, chuckling a little before coughing.

"I don't think that's going to happen, Moon. I'm quite old now, and that along with the stress of my life, it means I won't be around here much longer." Missy said. "It's almost my time, and I'm fine with it." Missy smiled weakly.

"Missy, but... We have so much more to live for.. I mean, I know about 20 more years and such, but look at what we can do in that time! Heck, we can still love each other, right...?" Moon nuzzled her, then kissed Missy. "Just, one day... One day of you feeling good, and we can have a little fun, alright..?"

"Moon, the past 30 years, I've had nothing to live for, I lived for Glint, then she grew up and left, and I've spent the past week in this hospital bed, so tonight, I want you to invite everypony here, Grand and Stephan. We'll spend the day together, you can get me out of this hospital bed."

"We're spending the day outside Missy, it's a beautiful Spring day that you can't miss..~" She said as Moon wiped off her tears, then nuzzled her again. "We'll go out to a nice field with everypony, talk, have a good time. We can also bring the children if you want~"

"That sounds good, now gimme a kiss and go tell everypony." Missy said, smiling, then feeling really tired. "I'm gonna have to rest for a little while before we go on this little thing." Missy lay her head back on the pillow.

Cloud gave a big smirk and nodded at Auria and the others.

"Yeah, let's do this!" Cloud said, with great enthusiasm. He then proceeded to walk through the door with the others.

 

Over the years, Stephan Micheals had grown old. He was now fifty years old and was living on a further edge of Ponyville. Yes, he had been content over these years. He stopped adventuring, but that was a passed chapter in his life. He was now married to Rainbow Dash and they were both happy together. Still, every now and then, he'd look out the window, remember the old days when he was young, free-spirited, and all of his friends were alive...

and he would just sigh sadly at the thought.

Sky and Sandy walked in first, there was a large monument in the middle of this room, it was lit by a hole in the roof of the cave.

"Are those...?" Sky began. "The Elements of Harmony?" He was referring to the large spherical stones in the center of the room.

 

Dash walked over to him and put her hoof on his shoulder.

"You do this almost every day, Stephan, you should go see Missy at the hospital." Dash said.

Cloud's eyes lit up so much at the sight, they might as well have been lanterns. The Elements... they were for real.

"Oh my... my grandfather's legacy... it was true!"

 

Stephan turned to Rainbow Dash.
"I know I do this everyday. I harp on my memories of the past..." He then gave a small sigh. "Alright... I'll go see her. She'll probably die soon, and she probably wants to see me before she passes away."

"I'm sure she'll really want to see you, you and Grand, you should go and tell her." Dash said, giving a small smile back. "Love you." Dash gave him a small kiss.

 

"The elements." Sandy began, one of the elements lit up, in his mind anyway, he walked over to it, the element of honesty. Sky was drawn towards one of the elements too, that of loyalty, she put her hoof on it.

"Wow, this is...." Sky began.

One element glowed to Cloud, as if it wanted him to come near it, so he did. The element began levitating down to him, that of Generosity. The element was placed on his hoof, and he simply smiled.

 

Stephan smiled back at Dash.

"Love you more." He said, putting on his jacket and walking outside. He then began making his way to the hospital.

After Stephan left, Dash smirked.

"Impossible." She whispered, having a great feeling of satisfaction, she turned and began to look out of the window Stephan was looking out of, it was a great place to reflect, to think.

 

Missy soon went to sleep, she was still alive, just sleeping.

 

"Wow, the elements are, a lot more different than I expected, they're stones, I thought they were jewelery." Sky said, picking it up and laying it on the ground.

"Well, this is what the elements were once like, after they were used by Celestia to banish her sister, they turned into this form." Sandy replied.

Auria looked to the elements, going up to the other one there. It called to her, the one that was kindness.

She was hesitant at first, of course. But when she saw Cloud go up, she went up too and picked up the element. "Wow, this... It feels warm.."

 

Antares went up too going around. He just giggled a bit as he felt one element go with him, laughter. After watching the others pick theirs up, he did too, holding it in his hoof. "I can agree with you on that."

 

There was none left after, just five. There wasn't exactly a feeling for Electron, he just happened to come wit hthem. Once he realized it, he became so sad after looking around, that he sat in the middle and began to cry.

Sky flew over to him and put a hoof on his back.

"Don't worry about being left out. Who knows? You might have a role to play in all this too!" Sky nudged him and flew back to his element.
"So, how exactly are we gonna get these things out of here? They're pretty heavy, and a lot of us don't have wings."

Stephan's speed when he was younger was still intact, so he could get to the hospital quickly. Though, now that he was older, it was decreased tremendously. Once he got there, he knocked on Missy's door and waited for her.

 

Cloud looked over to Electron, seeing him cry. He walked over to the colt and knelt to him.
"What's wrong, bud?" He asked him?

Electron kept crying quite loudly. "Baa baaaaa!! I didn't get it, I didn't get ittt!!!"

 

Antares gave a sigh, going over with Cloud/Sky to comfort him. "Hey, it's alright. Even if you didn't get one, you're still special Electron.. Okay? I promise you we'll give you something better in the future, but now... We're just gonna have to wait."

 

Auria decided to come over too, standing by Cloud and sighed. She let Antares do the work since he was the closest to his little brother. "Here Cloud, lets just let my brother do what he does best.. But anyways, your element.. Does it mean anything?"

Missy woke up from the sound of the knocking, she looked across at the door.

"Come in." Missy said weakly, she wondered whether the pony heard her or not.

 

"Alright, I have an idea, I'll carry my brother and my element, and he'll carry his element, then you Auria, you can carry Cloud and Antares, you take care of Electron." Sky explained.

Cloud simply smirked at Sky.

"Carry? Ha! I'll just put the element inside my saddlebags!" Cloud said, putting the element of generosity in his bag. "I don't know, Auria. There are five elements, and I'm pretty certain that there's a sixth one. Each one must mean something."

 

Stephan entered into Missy's room.

"Hey, Missy. It's been a long time."
