The duo were knocked unconscious after being captured. Upon waking up, they found themselves in a dark room, suspended right next to each other on the wall.

"Light? Where are you?" Stephan yelled out.

"I'm right here." Light said.

Stephan then looked to his left. "I can't see you, though."
"Well, Stephan, it seems as if you can't move, either." The two began to struggle, but it was hopeless. They were pinned to the wall like billboard tacks by chains and metal braces.

"Where are we..." Stephan said.

"Far from home, I can tell you that much." Said a voice from the distance.

"Wha? Who are you? Show yourself." Stephan said.

"If you insist." The voice began to laugh as a light turned on above him. In the light appeared a blueish stallion along with two others wearing red masks. "You're those two stallions from Ponyville, but you're ours now." He said in a menacing tone.

Caramel smiled, glad to be leaving. "Where should we go? I'm due there isn't much, but one place I always lived going to was the pond, just south of here. I could swim fir hours there" she said happily as she clumsily walked alongside starburst

Fire sat down on the sofa, it was relatively comfortable. "I'm fine, Zeta, just a bit distracted."

 

"Well, we'll go there, anything to get your mind off of the hospital." They walked out of the hospital and started heading south, it was probably a bit of a long walk. Starburst looked at Caramel and smiled.

Since Fire didn't really respond, Zeta got up from the sofa and walked to Grand's room with his crutch, trying to make the least amount of noise as possible before closing the door. Once he was in, he settled down on the bed and looked to her, thinking of the previous times before.

Grand... You are much different then the one time I remembered you, back 8 years ago on the train. You were lying down on the floor with Stephan, using two blankets to sleep in. Instead of being saddened or depressed, you were happy. Happy that you could lie there with him..

Caramel smiled back, happy to be going to a familiar spot. "So, your pretty adventurous right? You've been on a lot of trips and stuff. Tell me a story. Adventure books were always my favorite, I want to get better so I can go with you guys" she said, looking up at him with a childish look in her eye

"Well, this one time when I was about 7 years old, our group was in Manehatten, me, Stephan, Grand, my dad, we were getting surrounded by trotters, I tried surrounding the house in a force-field to keep them out, but I over-loaded the spell." Starburst smirked. "But.....the shield exploded, sending all the trotters back, saving our lives, one of the most dramatic moments of my life, apart from today of course."

"Wow, that's so awesome!" She said happily. "Next time you go anywhere, I'm coming too" she said determinedly. As they came onto the pond she smiled joyfully. "I love this place, it's so pretty" she said as she started walking in her own. Slowly, but surely. She smiled even wider as she gained more confidence in walking

 

Grand woke up slowly to the sight if zeta. "oh, terribly sorry. You wanted to talk, didn't you?" She said, sitting up

Stephan and Light looked at the stallions with angry eyes. "What exactly do you want?" Light asked the big blue one.

"Oh, it's not about what I want, but more about what YOU want." He said. "I know you want freedom, but we want what you have; food. specifically your apple supply."

"But, we have a trade agreement wit Cloudsdale involving them." Stephan said. "We can't just give them away."

"Well, that's too bad." He said, holding two guns between the duos' heads. "Because then, I'll have to kill you." The duo shut their eyes awaiting death, but the blue pony just laughed. "But, should you give me the apples, I'll let you go. Should you not, you'll pay. With your lives."

Stephan just gave an angry look. "Just don't hurt the others."
He gave a menacing grin. "Don't worry. I won't hurt them." He said. "I'll just bring them here to keep you company. That way, if you do die, at least you'll die with them." He then looked to his two bandit henchmen. "You two! Leave and search the area! If you find any of their friends, bring them here and take whatever they have!"
The two henchmen left and searched around a nearby pond, where they found two teenage ponies. They remembered those two ponies from their last attack on Ponyville. They quietly tried to sneak up on them in an attempt to capture them.

He shook his head, smiling. "I said if you wanted to talk about anything, but please, if you're tired then it's best for you to sleep. I'd appreciate it if you took care of your body more since after all, you are giving out your ration.."

Zeta then sat up and hugged Grand, laying her gently back down on the mattress again and starts to soothe her with his hoof.

Starburst's ears pricked up, somepony was sneaking up on them. He turned around to see a couple of bandits.
Starburst ran to Caramle and guarded her.

"You try anything and I'll destroy you. If you harm her, I'll find you, and kill you in your sleep." Starburst's teeth were gritted.

Steel finished at the guild he had managed to get give large bags of trail mix and give gallons of water it wasn't much but it would help"if only I could have convinced them to give me more"steel days to himself and he left cloudsdale and was waking back to ponyvile

Grand was going to protest, but decided not to. "I slept a little already, I don't mind talking for a bit" she said, cursing herself for breaking her promise. "I don't have my shift until later in the day anyways, I'm fine." She said with a smile. "We can talk about anything, I really don't mind"

"Anything? But I thought you said that we would.." But he stopped his sentence there and instead looked to Grand. "Nevermind. Anyways, Grand.. I've been thinking for a bit about my problem that you had put me into, and well... I hate to admit this, but if Stephan gets you..

 

Then i'll have nothing to live for, and I mean nothing. It would mean that the procedure, the adventure, the reason why I live now would feel like it was less then a bit. I cant figure out why either, but it's the way it goes.."

One bandit smirked and drew two daggers. "That won't be a good idea, boy" He said. "We have two of your friends, Stephan and Light Streak, captive. Now, I suggest you and your little girlfriend come with us and neither of you get hurt." He said, holding out his dagger.

Starburst smirked as well.

"Well, you clearly don't know who you're dealing with, so let me clue you in, I am your worst nightmare." Starburst pulled the two daggers out of the bandit's grasp and stabbed him in the neck with them, then levitated the other one and pushed him against a wall, making sure he couldn't move.

"You said you have Stephan and Light." Starburst smacked the bandit's head off the wall. "WHERE ARE THEY?!!"

The bandit with the daggers between his throat was obviously dead. The one levitated and pinned to the wall, however, just gave a laugh. "We'll give them back... on one condition. We've heard that you have an extensive amount of apples. Should you give them to us, we'll let them go without doing anything to them. Should you refuse, the two poor fools will pay, with their lives."

"Apples? Apples?!" Starburst felt like ramming his hoof through the bandit's face, but instead settled for another crack on the wall.

"You come.....into OUR TOWN!! You threaten my friends and me with death or worse!" Starburst hit the bandit's head off of the wall again and again and again and again, blood staining the wall each time his head impacted against it. "No deal you worthless piece of shit!" Starburst turned to Caramel. "We've got to get you back to the hospital."

Grand looked at him. "I can't be the only thing keeping you alive. There has to be something on this world that you love, something that makes you happy besides me" she said softly, looking at him. "You can't give up on life, not because of me"

 

Caramel looked at the bandits with a panicked look. "Starburst, we can't let them have the apples. Let's... Let's just go with them. Those apples are going to be supporting the whole town"

The levitated bandit smirked. "If you know what's good for your friends, you better listen to your girlfriend, kid." He said. "If you let me down, I'll take you back to the boss, he'll have a nice little talk with you, and you two can negotiate." He said, being sincere.

Starburst stopped, it pained him to say, but he agreed with the bandit.

"Fine, I'll go with you, but just me, leave her out of this. If you want apples that badly, you'll agree with that simple condition." Starburst said reluctantly.

 

Fire was sat down on the sofa, thinking about what they would do about tomorrow, he lay down, and fell asleep.

The bandit agree and the two began to walk to the west. He made sure he kept a watchful eye on Starburst, making sure he didn't do anything he might regret.

 

-15 minutes later-

Once the two got inside the base, the leader of the group swiveled around in his chair to face Starburst. "Look who decided to show up." He said to him with a grin.

Steel had heard starburst yell when he got there he dated in the trees and out of sight, he pulled out the two hand guns each one had twelve shots but instead of going in and killingthebandits he waited since starburst send them have it all under control when starburst told the bandit he would go steel decided he would follow when they hit to the base steel started out side and out of sight

Caramel looked around as she was left alone. She knew she didnt have the strength to get back to the hospital, but she had to try. She stood up and, slowly, began to walk back to the hospital. She had been doing good until she got into the town, where she collapsed on the pavement

Starburst looked around him, seeing Stephan and Light tied up to a wall.

"Touch me in the slightest and I'll kill you faster than you can say: "Holy shit my skin's being ripped off." Starburst said threateningly.

 

Fire heard a crash outside the house. He opened the door cautiously, seeing Caramel, he rushed out and picked her up off the ground and carried her inside. "Grand!!! Get down here!" Fire shouted. "Caramel, why are you out of the hospital?"

Grand awoke with a start and ran downstairs, where her exhausted sister lay on the couch. "Caramel! what in equestria are you doing, you couldve gotten hurt, or worse!" Grand said, rushing to her sister.

 

"Starburst... he got taken.... bandits took him, something about the apples... they have Stephan and Lightstreak too" Caramel managed to get out as she tried to catch her breath
