Grand laughed a little at Zeta. :You can go get some painkillers for when I'm finished" She said with a smile. She took the saw and began to cut. It was much easier than the last few times she did it. No moving around and no hordes of trotters. She finished quickly and placed it in a sanitary disposal bag before cleaning the wound and grafting it (I think thats how it works) She was finished within 45 minutes

 

Caramel thought for a moment. "No, I'm fine. Thanks for showing me how to use that though. I think i'll just go lay down for a bit" She said before making her way inside her home

In that 45 minutes, the brute pony almost threw up quite a few times before the procedure was ever finished, grabbing the painkillers just like Grand said and put it on the tray next to her. Once the leg was off, he took the disposal bag and did away with it wherever he threw it out. (( In a specific bin I suppose )) Then Zeta came back in, letting a sigh of relief that it was all done.

"Grand, I think you're both good at being a doctor and an actor, wouldn't you say?" He said to her, giving a little hug and a smile.

"Hello sir, you are all good now. We will have a mechanical leg made for you once you are fitted and your leg is all healed up" The colt just stared at her blankly. "Itll take a bit for the narcotic to wear off" She smiled before leaving the room

As the two walked out, Zeta grabbed the charts once more and looked back at the list of Ponies they needed to take care of. Surprisingly there wasn't many left, which then he grinned and showed to Grand. "We only have three patients to deal with, then from there on we just need to monitor their health and we'll be done." He said to her. "Now this next patient is.. Huh, it doesn't say a name for him. But he has suffered many burns from his body on one explosion. All he needs is some of the hanging skin peeled off, then the surgeons will take care of the rest."

Starburst walked away smiling,"Also, that's two you owe me." Starburst yelled after Caramel. Starburst thought about Caramel on his way to the hopsital, how she made him feel when he was around her, the sounds she made when she was excited....

 

"Starburst?" Missy asked. Starburst snapped back to reality. "Starburst are you alright? You've been standing there for 10 minutes."

Grand looked at the charts. "That's odd, patients usually have their name taken before being admitted to the hospital" she said curiously. "Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter. Let's get going" she said to Zeta as they entered the next room. "Hello sir, I'm doctor Finale" she introduced herself

Once steel put the tail mix and water away he started flying laps around ponyvile looking for any threats since he couldn't do anything to help rebuild the town he had already flown at least ten laps and he was now ovethe apples farm, he still hasn't seen anything

Grand looked at the charts. "That's odd, patients usually have their name taken before being admitted to the hospital" she said curiously. "Oh well, I suppose it doesn't matter. Let's get going" she said to Zeta as they entered the next room. "Hello sir, I'm doctor Finale" she introduced herself

The stallion was on a respirator and had a decent bit of monitors going. His burns were severe, some along his face and body. A bad 3rd degree one was along his hoof, but nothing else worse besides that.

The burnt man slowly looked at the two ponies, then closed his eyes and turned away.

"I think I know why Grand. It's because, he probably cant talk now so they couldn't take his name at that moment. It's what i'm thinking, but nonetheless you can see where chunks of skin are hanging."

"I'm fine, just something that's on my mind." Starburst said. "Or maybe the better way to phrase that would be someone."

Missy smiled. "Well, whatever it is, you can tell me, you can tell me anything, I am your mother after all." Starburst hesitated to tell Missy about it. "I may.....be....in love with Grand's sister."

Stephan finished packing the last seeds into the dirt. "And, I'm done. Done with all the seeds." He said in a happy tone.  Suddenly, Stephan felt a little bit wheezy. He hoped he wasn't coming down with something, since that's be the last thing he'd want to happen now. He then remembered the nuclear reactor.

"Oh no..."

"What? You're in love with her, but you only just met." Missy said in disbelief.

"Shhh." Starburst said, hurriedly putting his hoof over her mouth. "You cannot tell Grand about this," Missy moved his hoof.

"Why not?" Missy asked, Starburst sighed.

"Grand is so protective of Caramel, I understand, but......if Grand finds out, that's it, it's over." Starburst said.

Steel was going above the apple farm, he was really tired but he shouldn't be he's flown longer before and was never tired when he did, he was pretty sure he also had a fever then as he passed above firehorn he fainted and crashed a few feet away from him

Fire was talking to Applejack about names for the baby, when suddenly, something crashed a few kilometers from his position.

"What was that?" Fire asked, running towards the impact site. Seeing Steel he ran over to him and slapped him about a bit, to see if he was even able to be woken up. "Steel, wake up."

 

"What do you mean, it's over?" Missy asked.

"I mean what I mean, Grand'll probably shun us and keep Caramel away from me." Starburst sat down. "I need you to keep this a secret from Grand."

Steel woke up when firehorn smacked him""what happened? "so asked add he got up luckily he hadn't been hurt during the crash except for a few cuts and bruises before steel could move more then two feet he vomited

Fire was shocked.
"Okay, vomiting, high temperature, shortness of breath. All symptoms of a fever." Fire said. "In conditions like this, he won't last very long, we have to get him to the hospital." Fire picked Steel up and put him over his back.

 

Missy thought about arguing, but instead nodded.

"Have you told Caramel how you feel about her?" Missy asked.
"No, every time I think I have the opportunity, I remember dad telling me not to." Starburst explained.

Stephan began to stagger all over the place. He then looked at his hooves, but noticed that his vision was getting blurry.

"Wha.. what?" There was then an instant spike of pain in his skull. He grabbed his head and knelt down to the floor.

"Ugh." He tried to get back up to his hooves, but his body was beginning to weaken. He then lost all feeling in his body and collapsed on the dirt road.

Steel took fight "I'm fine firehorn " steel said fell to the ground and walked he was weak and has nose started to drip blood but steel didn't notice

((he had major radiation poisoning since he was so close to the blast that's why he us iv such bad shape I hate logic))

"Steel are you alright, you've got a bit of blood coming from your nose." Fire said. "Now I'm not so sure it's a fever, a fever doesn't cause nose-bleeds."

 

Starburst's head began to hurt, he started feeling sickly.
"Star, you okay?" Missy asked. Starburst clutched his head.

"No, no I'm not." He said before falling to the ground.

Steel out his hoof to his nose and when h pulled it away it was slick with blood "no I don't think Im fine maybe I should go to the hospital"steel said as he tired and failed to walk several times"it maybe I'll just stay here and sleep I'm tired anyways"steel did add he laid down

Missy leaned over to see if Starburst was alright.

"Starburst!!" Missy yelled. "Starburst! Wake up! Somepony get in here!!"

 

Fire again picked Steel up, this time with his magic, so he couldn't break free.
"We'll get to the hospital, your symptoms are that of radiation posoning, very dangerous." Fire said.

(( Radiation poisoning from the nuclear reactor. Steel, Stephan, Light Streak, and Starburst caught it all ))

 

Zeta took the dead skin with gloves and gathered them in one container, making sure there was none left over each place. "From viewing it, he was very lucky not to die by a bomb. This stallion looks young, around his mid 20's to 30's if I had to guess so he has a future."

In a little while, the excess skin had been peeled and everything was finished. So he took off his gloves and threw them away, going back over to the chart while signaling the head surgeon that they were ready. Both walked out the room as he looked to the last two that needed to be operated on. "Now lets see.. Here's a baby filly who needs to be checked on from her heart condition, and the last is... Oh my, he's marked as a bandit who was captured from placing bombs down. Apparently he was severely beaten down and needs some medical treatment before being brought into court to be tried."

Grand nodded until she heard missy screaming. "What's happened? Zeta, you go to the next patients room, I'm going to check on Missy" she said urgently as she rushed into Missy's room. She saw Starburst on the floor. "Missy, what's going on?" She said as she loaded him into a nearby bed, checking his vitals

"I don't know, he just started complaining about his head, then he collapsed." Missy looked closer. "I think his nose is bleeding too."

 

Fire came through the doors of the hospital with Steel in tow.

"We've got a problem, we've got stray beta radiation poisoning." Fire told the mare at the desk.

Steel didn't try to break free "ok firehorn you do that I'll just let you carry me there wait radiation poisoning he could i get radiation poisoning I haven't been bat anything radioactive I mean that doesn't seem righ-" steel fainted again in mid word

"Dammit, it's radiation poisoning. If he got it then all the others did too" she said frustratingly as she pushed the bed into another room for the surgeon to check. "I don't know a thing about radiation poisoning, reckless reckless reckless" she grumbled under her breath
