"Ive tried, but everytime I bring it up she brushes it off and says something about how the other townsponies need more help than she does" she said, frustrated with her sister

 

"Grand smiled mechanically at him"well I suppose we should start with him then" She said as she walked into the hospital. "Hello sir, I'm doctor Finale, we are here to take care of you as best we can" She said in an overly cheery voice

Zeta followed behind into the room they were in, looking at the pony. Oddly enough, Grand wasn't freaked out by any weird behavior, but she stopped fearing just about anything a long time ago from doing this for a while.

The stallion looked at her and barked loudly, trying to move to her but was restrained down somewhat. "I put the restraints there for safety reasons. It looks almost like he has some severe case of something, since he tried to attack some ponies but ended up falling down and getting hit hard in the head."

"I really wish there was something we could do to help her, she's a robot now." Starburst started walking around like a robot. "I am Finale-Bot, get me patients." Starburst laughed. "But in all seriousness, she's ill, she needs help, she's the one that needs treatment."

 

Rainbow Dash flew into the town hall. Fire looked up at her from the map.

"Anything?" Fire asked in a gruff voice.
"No, we can't seem to find him anywhere, that's the entirety of Equestria we've searched now, what do we do?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Fire couldn't think of an answer.

"The poor dear must have some mental issue, likely dementia or schizophrenia. Unfortunately I dont know much about mental diseases, but we can certainly help with that lump on his head" She said, unphased by the pony. She simply took some narcotics, injected it into the stallions bloodstream and waited for him to calm down. "There, not lets get a look at that bump. Its a pretty nasty one, but some ointment and ice should do just the trick" She said as she applied the ointment. She seemed to do so in quite a pleasant mood. in fact, it was rare she wasnt in a pleasant mood.

 

Caramel rolled her eyes but smiled at Starburst. "I wish I could do something, but she refuses any kind of help I offer her. Her excuse is always the same. Those ponies need help more than I do. Sometimes i Just wanna" She said as she punched her hoof. She took a deep breath. "I dont know what to do with her. Zetas the total opposite. instead of being unnaturally cheery, he is just gloomy all the time. Its a miracle those two still work together"

"There's nothing much we can do, other than hope that she comes to her senses." Starburst said. "Anyway, I'm thinking we should do something, we've been....together....for 3 months and all we've done is talk, not that I don't enjoy just spending time with you...."

 

Fire reached for a bottle of whiskey, it was the only thing he drank, made him sound like a sailor stallion.

"Hm.. That seemed easier then I expected Grand." Zeta said, examining the bump as well. The stallion's breath slowly calmed down as he started to blink slower and tried to speak out. "No, not now. No, no..." Then the stallion started to shed some tears while she worked on him.

But Zeta on the other hand, looked at him and shook his head. "It must be a mental issue, from what he's saying. I'll get some ponies to transfer him over to the 'place' once he's ready to go. Meanwhile go check on other ponies, and i'll come meet you whenever."

Caramel pulled Starburst in for a hug. "What did you have in mind?" She asked playfully, laughing at his nervousness.

 

Grand simply smiled. "alright Zeta, just be careful with the patient" She said as she walked out of the room and into the next patients room. An older mare who just needed a routine checkup. "Alright miss, lets get started"

Later into the day, Stephan walked back into Equestria. He was surprised on how everything stayed.

"Looks like they fixed the place up a little bit." He said, staring outside. He then casually walked out of the castle and went into the city hall.

"Well, I was thinking about asking Pinkie Pie to help me set up a date, because...well, she knows fun." Starburst said. "Either that or I take you flying."

 

Fire slammed the bottle down.

"Look, I don't care what you do. Just......" Fire stomped his back hoof, a fire burned deep within him, anger filled his spirit.

"Woah, Fire....calm down." Rainbow said. "We all miss him, just don't take out your anger on others."

Stephan walked into the city hall to get caught-up with everypony. After walking down the giant corridor to the biggest room in the building. He then saw Fire Horn in command.

"Fire! Dash! Long time no-" He then noticed that Fire was off the wagon. "Sheesh, dude, what happened to you?

Caramel pulled Starburst in for a hug. "What did you have in mind?" She asked playfully, laughing at his nervousness.

 

Grand simply smiled. "alright Zeta, just be careful with the patient" She said as she walked out of the room and into the next patients room. An older mare who just needed a routine checkup. "Alright miss, lets get started"

Meanwhile, the pony pulled up a little phone and dialed three numbers in. Once the phone on the other end was picked up, he answered into it. "A case of mental disease. Come pick up this man and analyze over at the place when you are ready."

Afterwards, he hung up and left the room to go to where Grand was, looking back to see a few doctors with a dolly come up into the room. That was the last thing he saw before he had entered, and looked up to the older mare. Her vitals were alright, just a new checkup she needed and that patient was done.

"Alright, after this there's two more patients to check on then we'll be on duty for the rest of the day. You know, just in case any patients come in."

"Of course! I might stay here overnight... again. I think this older pony here needs as much help as possible... then again all the ponies would want someone to keep them company through the night" She said as she walked into the next room, a middle aged colt with a bad case of the flu

 

"You know, I never did give you back that cape you lent me that day" She said as she went and grabbed it from her saddlebags. "i wore it the first time we went flying"

Fire's teeth gritted together at the sight of Stephan. He picked up the bottle of whiskey and threw it at Stephan but it missed.

"You! You've got some fucking nerve coming back here." He got up out of his chair and jumped over the desk, pushing Rainbow out of the way. "We spent, 3 fucking months looking for you, then you waltz back in here, thinking everyone's going to forgive you." Fire yelled. "Now get out of my fucking sight, and never talk to me, ever, again, you big sack of crap."

Stephan's eyes widened. "Whoa, whoa, easy, man. Didn't you get my letter?" He asked him. "It said specifically that I was going to Earth and that I'd be back. Didn't Grand show you the letter?" He asked. He wasn't too surprised that Fire was acting this way. His departure definitely took it's toll.

"Not like it's your second week staying up overnight here. You fell asleep once, which I had to wake you up for again since you were working on a patient." He said to her, checking out the older mare to say she was okay to leave. Then he went onto the colt, checking on his case of the flu and stuck on a little mask that other doctors wear. Noticing that Grand didn't have one at the time, Zeta picked one up and handed it to her. "You can never be too sure about sickness."

"No, you know what? No excuses, get out of here!" Fire yelled. "Don't fucking come back, asshole!" Fire walked out of the town hall.

"Sorry about him, Stephan, he's been under a lot of stress, he's been in charge of the search for you." Rainbow Dash said, flying next to him.

 

Starburst took the cloak, it was ripped from where the shrapnel hit him.
"I forgot about this." Starburst said, he thought about it for a moment. "You keep it, I don't need it anymore."

Grand looked at him. "arent we all sick?" She said in a strange voice, but quickly snapped out of it and took the mask with a smile. "Thank you" She said with a smile

 

Caramel smiled. "I wasnt planning on giving it back anyways" She said as she tied it on. "So, what should we do then? I think sugarcube corner is open now"

Stephan sighed and looked at Dash. "He's sort of right. I didn't tell anypony about my departure before I, well, departed. I just left a letter. No wonder he's pissed off at me." He said. "If he's that mad at me for leaving, imagine what the others are going to think of me once they see me again."

Steel had been flying around town keeping a eye out for trouble although nothing ever happened anymore he had thought about going out and getting some contracts to keep him busy but decided that it was a bad idea so he just flew lap after lap around ponyvile

Fire walked outside of Ponyville. He had a tree, a tree that he'd just buck, to relieve his anger.

 

"Sounds good, Caramel, we should get going then." Starburst said, turning to the door and opening it. "After you."

 

Missy was laughing with Twilight.

"How's little Glint doing?" Twilight asked.

"She's fine, growing normally, Grand told me." Missy replied.

"Well, might as well not waste time beating around the bush. I guess I've gotta go back outside and face the music." He walked out of town hall and began making his way to the hospital, where he assumed Grand and Zeta were. Hopefully Grand wouldn't be too mad at him.

Caramel bowed dramatically as she left the house, laughing as she did so. "Hey, do you think the cakes would let me use their kitchen? I havent baked in forever" She said as she made her way to the little bakery. "I bet you I can bake the best streudel youve ever tasted" She said proudly as she skipped down the street

 

Grand began working on the patient. Checking his vitals and looking up his symptoms. "Just some flu medicine should clear you right up sir" She said happily

Starburst laughed at Caramel's bow.
"I don't know, it's been three months, but cakes are still hard to come by." Starburst said as they arrived at Sugarcube Corner.

"Who said cake?!" An eccentric voice said behind him.

"Hey Aunt Pinkie." Starburst greeted Pinkie with a special hoof-shake.

"Ooooh, who's this lil' filly? She your marefriend?" Pinkie practically yelled.

"Yes, yes, she...uh....is." Starburst said.

Caramel laughed and waved at pinkie. "Its nice to meet you, I'm Caramel Corn. "She said as she noticed Pinkies hair. It was just as uncontrollable as hers. "We were just finding something to do for the day and figured Sugarcube corner is always a good option"

Steel seen Stephen and landed in front of him "hey Stephan welcome back"steel said "did you enjoy you visit to earth "steel asked he wasn't mad at Stephan at all because he came back when he could have stayed with his family that meant he choose them over his family

"Well, duh, Sugarcube Corner has always been and forever will be the best place to be!" Pinkie said before jumping through an open window. Starburst laughed.

"Sorry about Aunt Pinkie, she can be a little eccentric sometimes." Starburst paused. "No, wait, all the time."

 

Fire was out by a lake. He was there to try and relax.
